Hi Pinions! You sound on top of the world and I´m really really glad to hear it, just brought a big smile to my face. Enjoy your new little one xx

CONGRATS Twinkle, what a pretty name and so quick! Definitely feel like the scales are going to be tipping in the other direction for us all soon

Lesley - I know it´s the cheesiest line in the book but my thoughts really are with you, I hope you get the cuddles you need off dh asap xxx

Having really strong BHs right now.. not painful just make it hard to move around the basketball sticking out of my midsection! Just started my raspberry tablets today, 900mg twice a day so let´s see what they do...

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 10/04/2007 20:10

Thanks Ellie. They didn't have the strong ones in our H&B so have ordered some on-line. Will probably have given birth by the time they arrive!!

bumble75 · 10/04/2007 20:14

Congrats Twinkle!!

Pinions - your post just made me even more excited to meet our wee one! Am so glad it's going well for you.

Lesley - thinking of you, hugs, x

Maveta - your healthy salad lunch inspired us to a healthy salad dinner and I feel much better for it (after naughty pizza lunch). Making my wax & pedicure app't tomorrow - and getting my haircut tomorrow - can't wait.

DH has commandeered my exercise ball thingy and is happily sitting with his feet on it watching football, glad someone in the house is sitting comfortably!

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 20:16

it is so good to hear a really positive post-birth experience from Pinions, lets hope all of us have the same

tho i for one DO NOT want to be getting broody again within a week

Good evening - just had super unhealthy dinner AND I DON'T CARE!! Pizza and chips. Yum! Now wanting more savoury food .......

Mmmmmmmmmm..........

Congratulations!! - To Hensden and Twinkle on your super-quick deliveries - Looking forward to hearing all the details etc, esp the name of your wee boy Hensden - I think Evelyn Catherine is a beautiful name Twinkle (DD1 is Katherine - very classic, imho! ) Lots of yummy babies - Well Done!

LOL @ Hensden "mooing like a heifer....."

Awwww, your post was lovely and so positive Pinions- Thank you for that - Glad you are enjoying your wee one so much!

Lesley - [[[hugs]] to you hon. xx You poor thing - I am so sorry to hear abour Gran. Hope you get those rl hugs soon!

All ok here, baby kicking away as usual - Feeling v.tired - got woken up v.early this morning by DH's alarm. Wish he would tell me when he is going to set it ..... Just tried to have a wee rest on our bed, but irksome little teenage boys next door were revving their ridiculous car's engine and swearing v.loudly at each other. Yuk.

Sorry - I sound v.grumpy, but I'm not - honest!

runnyhabbit · 10/04/2007 20:30

congratulations twinkle! Lovely name

Lesley - so sorry to hear of your news. We're here for you x

Pinions - Sounds like such a positive experience. Thanks for all the tips. My tens machine should be here in the morning.

Back really hurting tonight, and getting a lot period type pains again. Going to have a long soak in the bath.

runnyhabbit · 10/04/2007 20:32

CD - lol at dh alarm, but only because I totally sympathise. I want to find an alarm clock that is programmed to one person. Dh sets the alarm, but instead of it waking dh up, it wakes me instead, and I have to wake dh!

oopps

CaptainDippy · 10/04/2007 20:40

Personally I'd like an alarm that beats DH over the head until he gets out of bed, but that doesn't make any noise ....

CaptainDippy · 10/04/2007 20:40

Hope your "Twinges" () are "The Real Thing" hon!

CaptainDippy · 10/04/2007 20:51

Everyone's left me all alone tonight ....

etc

Hello

CONGRATULATIONS TWINKLE [GRIN]

Pinions - lovely post, glad everything is going so well for you

Lesley - sorry you're having such a hard time of everything at the moment, hope dh is back by now and has given you the hug you need.

Well i was having the most feeble ever contractions every half hour since about half 5 but i think they've stopped now.Anyone else find that the first sign of it they get is being breathless as tummy hardens and presses on your lungs and then the pain kicks in? Or is that just me? Never had that before but then dont think the other two were as big as this one!

And Im sulking cos only have 2 lollies in the freezer and dp has just gone to work and refused to get me anymore - selfish bloody git theres a shop at the top of the road that he could have gone to, would have taken him 5 mins What is the point in the man if he cant provide me with lollies FFS

CaptainDippy · 10/04/2007 21:17

Excellent - someone else whose eating an unhealthy dinner and doesn't care!!

muminamassivetummy · 10/04/2007 21:18

Hi all

Quick update from me as have banging sore head from lots of crying - feeling v down in dumps and fed up of being pregnant now...not had a good few days - just feeling like crapola in general.

Haven't caught up at all but thanks to Ellie's E-mails wanted to add my huge congrats to Hensden and to Twinkle...

Pinions - loved your post from earlier.

Sorry it's short/impersonal/crap but just wanted to let you know I'm not in labour (unfortunatley).

Big love to you all - will be back when in more posative frame of mind....do think of everyone all the time....just don't like to bring everyone down...
xxxx

mammyjo · 10/04/2007 21:18

Hello again. Lovely message earlier from pinions, so positive and smiley! Glad everything is going so well for you!

Thanks to Bugmum and Bramshott for BF thoughts. I need to just not stress over it I think. I am doing fine and dd has gained weight so I must be doing something right! I think it just takes confidence as I struggled so much with ds first time round and was almost waiting to have the same problems (which I havent).

Congratulations to both Hensden and Twinkle! Wonderful news from you both. The babies are coming thick and fast now! Maybe runny will be next?

I am doing fine and my tearyness from last week is definitely getting better so generally feeling more positive. Dd continues to be a good girl, sleeping well at night. Wakes for feeds but will go back down without any fuss so am getting more sleep now than when pregnant. Hope everyone is well, thinking of you all even if I am not around so much lately xxxx

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 10/04/2007 21:19

It is very quiet. Dh watching Life on Mars which I don't really like.

Runny, hope the twinges amount to a baby!

Need to sneak off and wrap dh's bday presents.

Back later. xx

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 21:19

mammyjo · 10/04/2007 21:22

Poor you MIAMT, sending you feel good vibes and hope you feel brighter soon. Wouldnt worry too much about bringing others down as I think we have all ranted or vented crap feelings on more than one occassion. I know I have! Miss not being on here as often for the support but my time is otherwise used up now!!

Lesley, thinking of you during your tough time. Hope you had a lovely hug with dh when he got home.

liath · 10/04/2007 21:23

Big hugs MIAM, could have written that post myself many times over the last weeks or so, so you are not alone.

Congratulations to the new mummies, really coming thick and fast now. Very heartened by all these quick second labours!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 10/04/2007 21:23

MIAMT, really sorry to hear you are feeling down - you are normally such an "up" person. Hope you are feeling more cheerful soon.

Mammyjo, lovely to see you, and glad all is going well. Your dd sounds like an angel bless her.

Mmm Ellie, fish finger sandwiches!

bumble75 · 10/04/2007 21:39

Am being kicked off pc so dh can research company he has job interview with tomorrow... hope there is chocolate downstairs...

MIAMT, hope you're feeling better soon, felt exactly the same yesterday...

Good night all, sweet dreams
