LLL, pmsl at the shot glass - wonderful. I am glad they saw the funny side. I had to take a urine specimen in today, and the look on the receptionists face was of total disgust - as if I were handing her a great pile of poo! Silly moo.

GMM, thanks for the pavlova recipe - looks fab.

I can't remember who was asking, but I used a TENS with Becky and managed to get fully dilated with just that. I had to have an epidral at the end as she was stuck and they thought a c section might be in order. I think part of its success for me was the fact that I was at least in control of the TENS machine if nothing else iyswim! I have ordered one from Boots and hopefully it will be here this week.

Ellie - I agree with the others, you need to do what's right for you and not worry about him if he's being difficult.

Banned myself from logging on yesterday as was sooooo tired and behaving like over-tired toddler, had a nap in the afternoon and feel more human today despite not sleeping until after 2am -ish. Have managed to stay awake today so might even get to sleep at decent hour tonight... I can dream can't I?

Feel for all of you getting the 'Have you had it yet?' phone calls, seriously the last thing you must need.

Birdie, fingers crossed you have the baby tomorrow as we'll both be in being induced on thursday otherwise, LOL!!!

Why is it when you tell people you'll be induced do they tell you horror stories of inductions lasting forever Like i don't bloody have first hand experience of that anyway, LOL!!!

Seriously glad this is nearly over or someone would end up being floored with all these 'helpful' comments I keep getting.

MIL told me today that she's going for her radioactive treatment next wed so won't be able to see any grandkids for 2 weeks. Least she can meet this one before going into quarantine(sp??)
