Just popping in to say I'm home, boy baby (still with no name) born 8.02 this morning just gas and air, slight graze very tired, post later. Eddas did I beat you, or were you the lady in the bed next door. I was the one mooing like a heifer.

Ok, dilemma - STILL haven't ordered my TENS machine Dh told me to do it today. I'm thinking that as soon as I order it, labour will bound to start (law of sod and all that) What do you think?

Been feeling a bit "twingey" myself. Had what I thought were contractions for an hour last night, then they went away at 1am. Couldn't sleep until 4am though.

Think I've scared everyone away who called yesterday with "that question".

I'm staying in and can't be bothered phoning friends who left messages last week. Think I might text and say sorry, too grumpy for any chat. Might also put a sign in my window "no, I'm still here" to save people peering in on the way past...

Anyone else or am I the only one not admitting in RL to any feelings that things might be starting? Just lying so I don't have to deal with "oh, nothing happened then, false alarm" comments the next day?

I am taking great encouragement from this as it shows you do go into labour after waters breaking. I was absolutely shattered and thought I'd take my mind off things by going for a little sleep (which was wonderful) but not a single bloody contraction - just yet more waters - grrr! . I've already gone through a whole pack of maternity pads.

However, on the upside, dear old DH is making chilli tonight (special hot portion for me) AND I really don't want to miss the last episode of Life On Mars....

Am bored too. Labour obviously isn't imminent as I can't even be arsed to clean anything. Am going to a lie down & read.
