i know it doesn't quite rhyme but it does nearly, and it's completely inoffensive to everyone but Eddas

Morning ladies - wish my waters would hurry up and break!!! Good luck with all the babies today!!

Still got dp's family with us today, think they wanting to go shopping ALL day - not sure whether I can be arsed or not!!

Was thinking about writing a letter and complaining to m&p - the thought of freebies or vouchers is too much of a draw!!!

Weather crap up here!!

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 08:58

watch out charnbump, she'll turn into your own personal stalker

I know you'll have it somewhere but if you're half as disorganised as me you'll have lost the email Ellie sent linking names to email addresses!

Katy44 · 10/04/2007 08:59

mwahaaaahaaa
(think I have to work on my evil laugh)

maveta · 10/04/2007 08:59

How exciting, sounds like we should have plenty of news over the next few days..Hope all okay with you Ellie and that your bath got him a´wigglin´.

I know I´ve said it already but really.. what a shitty, shitty night I´ve had. Woken up about 2.30am for a pee, then started getting random and irregular contractions which were uncomfortable enough to stop me getting back to sleep. Then they finally stopped but tossed and turned, got up for some weetabix about 4am and so on and so forth. After I posted this a.m. I fell asleep on the sofa for about 2 hours before crawling back into bed for some sympathy cuddles from dh but, alas, no more sleep.

I love my sleep and have NEVER had problems sleeping, the thought that this could go on for another 4 weeks really gets me down

I know there´s not much anyone can say to that, I just felt like another wee moan
PS. Katy.. I saw you on that other thread!

Katy44 · 10/04/2007 08:59

Couldn't resist posting a on that other thread
Know I'm being naughty, but as maveta pointed out I think it proves that it's only the AN and PN people who have to censor their titles

Birdiebump · 10/04/2007 09:00

Oops! You have a point, Eddas! It's all go today.

DH finally back (with chocolate for labour energy!) so off to see MW.

Katy44 · 10/04/2007 09:00

Eddas · 10/04/2007 09:06

LOL at you Katy, betting on babies being born, what makes you think that Talk about insider info!!!!

I haven't got chocolate in my labour bag Actually, must go put towels in. And must remember pillows!

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 09:06

behave yourselves!

now, we're off to storytime at the library soon, then to meet the lovely lady that has volunteered to Doula for me, so DON'T PANIC if i'm not on again til this afternoon

and whatever you do, don't go starting a new thread, unless it's totally innocent and includes WaspElly's speedy birth in there somewhere

Katy - do you think she´s talking to us?? .. don´t worry Ellie, we won´t get into any scrapes while you´re away...

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 09:10

if you can get into so much trouble together from different countries, imagine the chaos if you ever met

Morning all.

ElliKthePA - that is exactly how I feel - my bump is solid and it feels like all my waters have gone which they haven't! Was woken up with a mighty contraction last night and slightly panic that it was the start but then all quietened down but feel a little strange.....

Birdiebump - good luck, something is going to happen very soon!

Runnyhabbit - due day for me too. I also are hiding at home ignoring the phone. Having said that people have been asking for weeks - 'have you not had that baby yet?'

Maveta - I remember being pregnant with my first and having bad nights of sleep and moaning that I was tired now, I will be tired when the baby arrives and I am basically going to be tired now for the rest of my life! But you do get to sleep again Promise.

Katy44 · 10/04/2007 09:25

When I tense my stomach muscles my bump goes pointy! Makes me (and DH) posl!!

Katy44 · 10/04/2007 09:28

Just topping up my PAYG phone - thought I'd mention it in case it reminds any one else to do the same before they go into labour
Our nursery's almost done - just need to have a dust and hoover and put extra blu tak on the poster that keeps falling down! I keep looking in it and going aaahh.

EllieKthePA · 10/04/2007 09:28

mine does that too Katy - really funny

i love Mumsnet sometimes, having somewhere you can go and find out that what you're experiencing is completely normal just makes it so much less stressful

Katy44 · 10/04/2007 09:35

That's really good - tell him to stop worrying you!!
Where is CaptainDippy this morning? Could she be...?

eca · 10/04/2007 09:38

morning!

oooh, waters are breaking everywhere on here aren't they!

Maveta - sorry to hear of your crappy night. I hate nights like that.

Ellie - hope it goes well meeting the doula!

Katy - I am grrrrr about that thread too. It does just seem to be the an threads that get it in the neck. And for the record, I think 'bugger the babies' is far worse than 'sodding babies'. I find it very odd on MN how much flack the an threads get. Wierd

gmm - I would definately complain about that sales assistant! That's awful. I would have felt dreadful if they'd done that to me (and posssibly burst into tears at the mo!)

lol at us all hiding from the "have you had it phone calls" My dad keeps pestering me, he seems to think i'll have some idea when baby might arrive. He's retired and I think i am being an inconvenience to his social diary because he can't plan stuff as he's waiting to see when he has to come and visit! Ahhh!!! What is it with retired people who are always sooooooo busy!
