fifisworld · 13/04/2007 16:59

What was i saying about wanting some sickness....???
Havent actually been sick but found myself walking round the house gagging for the past 2 hours.
This can only be a good sign cant it?

Hi everyone

Angelhunter, poor you with your mum's response. We didn't tell my parents about DD until I was 22wks as she usually says things that would wind me up and worry me.

Told my girl friends today that I know from DD, they were all thrilled and I'm glad I've got them as support because we weren't going to tell anyone until the 12wk scan.

Had a lovely picnic in the park with my friends and the toddlers, came home and had a short nap and woke up forgetting I was pregnant! Not sure what reminded me but then felt a bit scared! Sure it's all normal but there you are.

Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend

Thanks GemBean yes it does put a dampener but I should have known I would get that kind of response, the worse thing is she keeps inciting other people to have that kind of response as well as if she is the normal one
Just as well everyone ignores her and wishes us congratulations
Lucy1977 - i'm just glad she lives miles away so I don't have to deal with her very often and if she hadn't been staying with us for our dd's birthday I might not have told so soon but couldn't keep it a secret as we are so happy as we wanted our kids close together.

Welcome Bimblin what a shock to loose your job at this time but hugs being sent your way

fifisworld · 14/04/2007 18:04

Congratulations Bimblin

How's everyone feeling???
Does anyone feel totally normal with very little symptoms??

sunnysam · 14/04/2007 18:09

hi all found out i am pregnant again about three weeks ago said i wasnt going to tell anyone because i lost a little boy on the 22nd december last year i was 18 wks pregnant but i lasted about 2 days before i blurted it out. i have got five very healthy, very noisy boys they are 8,7,4,3 and 18 months does that even the amount of daughters you will all be after sons and i want a daughter

fifisworld · 14/04/2007 18:12

Hi Sunnysam
I take my hat off to you having so many kids..how do you cope???
Have you got any symptoms yet?

Lucy1977 · 14/04/2007 18:19

Hi Sunnysam, sorry to hear of the loss of your wee boy in December, congratulations on this pregnancy.

Fifi I'm glad you asked - I do feel quite normal apart from being tired and having a wave of nausea for 1 min this morning.

How are you and everyone else feeling?

Angelhunter - my Mum also lives miles away, in some ways I prefer that but then again it means that when we see her it's for a few days and staying with us which is rather intense!

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend

Lucy

sunnysam · 14/04/2007 18:22

really bad nausea havent been sick yet but i think i could cope with that rather than feeling sick 24/7 when i was pregnant last year the nausea was that bad i lost 2 stone i just couldnt eat a thing and unfortunately it looks like it is going to be the same again. i am sure it gets worse the more pregnancies you have apart from that and being tired 24/7 as well not too bad

Caz10 · 14/04/2007 18:41

fifi - none at all! Just very tired but I am quite lethargic sometimes anyway!

I know I will regret saying this, but having ms or something would reassure me at least that everything ok.

I've been having af type cramps for a couple of weeks now, reading on here and checking with NHS 24 they seem normal but I still don't like them!

mrsdarcy · 14/04/2007 19:07

Sunnysam - v sorry to hear about your little boy. I lost a girl at 19 weeks, 3 years ago, and my subsequent pregnancy (another girl, now 21 months) was very difficult. Are you getting extra care?

Caz, I'm getting quite bad af-type pains too. I've had them in my other pregnancies as well but it's easy to get worried, isn't it?

I've been trying to get in touch with my consultant. During my last pregnancy I took high-dose folic acid and low-dose aspirin throughout, and I need to know if I should do the same this time round. I'm sure a few days won't matter but I hope I can contact her soon.

It's really nice being able to post on here isn't it? I haven't told any friends in rl so posting here means I can let off steam, whilst keeping it special between me and DH in the real world

CaptainDippy · 14/04/2007 19:34

Sorry to gatecrash, but OMGoodness!!! Congratulations!! - To JARM - you sly fox - fanatsic news - hope all is going well for you - I am just about to drop my third - so we'll have similar age gaps AGAIN!!

Bimblin · 14/04/2007 21:48

I have to say I'm feeling pretty normal, just a bit tired. I did however have a desperate yen for Ricicles this morning, which I've never had before...

Thanks for those who posted re me losing my job - I'm not sure what to do - guess I'll need to contract rather than looking for a permanent job. And in the meantime I'll need to keep paying my childminder so I don't lose ds's space.

I am pleased though, homestly, it just took a while and a few sleepless nights

mad4girls · 14/04/2007 21:52

hi guys
sorry been away but i also said the famouslast words of "i wish i had some ms or something to make it feel more real" of course i havent been feeling sick 24/7 but have been sick a few times, and tiredness has suddenly taken over.

also feeling awful as had 1 drink last night as dp was drinking and woke up this morning with the worst hangover of my life,(i never get hangovers only ever had 1 in my life, even when ive been plastered)he said "you only had 1 u cant have a hang over" but i felt bloody awful guess thats "bubbles" way of telling me to pack it in

have a docs appt for thurs so will see what happens

also yesterday i saw some maternity wear on sale in town and was really tempted but its waaayyy to early right????

please can anyone advice on this dilema as im a 16-18 normally and never seem to find anything in my size when ive needed it before, pleease help

insywinsyspider · 14/04/2007 22:31

just popping in to say hi - still still testing everyday since i got BFP on Thurs and going to gp on tues to confirm as still don't quite believe it! very very excited and been looking at home births on net most of evening!!

due 22nd Dec (ish) DS 10 months

hello everyone (not sure where everyones at as far too many messages to read )

fifisworld · 14/04/2007 22:41

Is it true you show earlier with your second???
And do you feel movements earlier??
I feel bloated, youd think i was about 4 month pg

mad4girls · 14/04/2007 23:02

yes u do normally show ealier and feel movements earlier with subseqeunt pregnanacies

i was also thinking the same ealier this week i mean im fat anyway, but looked about 4 months as well until i read in a mag yesterday that said, your waist will look bigger at the moment due to hormones slowing digestion down and all it really is, is delayed bowel movements and basically constipation!!

i was rather dissapointed but if it doesnt dissapear soon will have to buy some materninty wear what do u think is it far too early??

angelhunter · 14/04/2007 23:14

So far I feel great (not sure if I'm tempting fate by saying that or not )
I'm feeling what seams lots of movement and I'm sure our little girl knows and has got more energetic since we found out - or maybe I'm just more tired, definitly don't seam to have quite the energy I had first time round

BeachBunni · 15/04/2007 03:24

Hi everybody. I'm going to bite the bullet and join in with you all. Had BPF nearly a month ago and due 3rd Dec but it still doesn't feel real in a way. Been taking a pg test about once a week just to make sure I'm still pg. Costing me a fortune!

insywinsyspider · 15/04/2007 08:18

hi beachbunni - i've tested evryday since i had faint positive on thursday - got loads of cheap pg tests from ebay (like the ones the doc uses) figure i won't need them for a while anyway!

is this your first?

fifisworld · 15/04/2007 09:08

Will we do a roll call so we know where everyone is at??

Fifisworld edd 17th Dec - 1 ds 11 months

Theres so many of us now it might help.
Hope everyones feeling ok today.xx

fifisworld · 15/04/2007 09:10
