We're pretty early but thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is here already.

I'm 4+1, apparently due around 2 May. Would be great to have some company :). Already obsessing over every little thing. The next 8 weeks are going to drag!

HoldTightPretendItsAPlan I am so sorry Flowers

HerSymphonyAndSong · 15/09/2017 15:30

That's sad news, i'm so sorry holdtight

Whatamuddleduck · 15/09/2017 15:39

Oh hold tight, I'm sorry. I remember the pain of mc at a similar stage only too well.

And the rest of us, step away from the cb digi's! They seem to cause nothing but anxiety. Somewhere upthread was a good link to information about why they shouldn't be used to assess risk of mc, totally unreliable because all kinds of things can cause levels if hcg in a sample to vary.

Hummingbird15 · 15/09/2017 15:44

I'm so sorry holdtight x

LadyPug · 15/09/2017 15:45

I'm so sorry to hear this holdtight take it easy and look after yourself!

LadyPug · 15/09/2017 15:46

Great advice whatamuddleduck I've had a proper stress about it all today and it's not like it changes anything!

readysetcake · 15/09/2017 15:59

So sorry to hear your news holdtight, take it easy and be kind to yourself.

MegsMog · 15/09/2017 16:31

piglet I really don't want to worry you unnecessarily but in all of my chemical pregnancies the first sign has been pregnancy tests not getting stronger / going down to 1-2 weeks. As the midwife says it could be innocent but I am just saying this in case you could go to an EPU to check bloods? I really hope it's nothing! I've also heard cases where digi tests go down after the early loss of a twin but then they go up again as normal.

MegsMog · 15/09/2017 16:32

So sorry holdtight - take care xx

MegsMog · 15/09/2017 16:34

hummingbird hopefully you just ovulated and/or implanted late! A heartbeat is a good sign but I'm sorry you have to wait two weeks to confirm what's going on, how tough. Xx

LadyPug · 15/09/2017 16:35

Hi Megs I wrote about this earlier too as I had a really faint test today (Poundland test) but then did a FRER that was stronger than my FRER from 3 days ago. It's so confusing and terrifying isn't it?!

Poppy012 · 15/09/2017 16:59

Sorry to hear that holdtight Sad

MegsMog · 15/09/2017 17:03

Ladypug I would trust the FRER over the pound land test. Sounds promising!!

piglet81 · 15/09/2017 17:10

holdtight so sorry you've had sad news.

megsmog yes, I'm worried that it could mean a chemical pregnancy/mc. Sorry that you've been through that before. The EPU is only open Monday to Friday so I'm going to see what happens over the weekend and then take it from there. Interestingly my previous pregnancy seemed to be twins at about this stage (went to epu because of bleeding) but then ended up a singleton. So who knows. It's all such a mystery at this early stage...

Fillybee · 15/09/2017 18:03

I'm really sorry @holdtight. It's so shit. I'm bleeding too and it's bright red and it's increasing so I think it's very likely to be another miscarriage. I'm basically livid that this is now 3 in a row. 7+2. I'm in Italy at this the wedding with no sanitary towels and everyone who has access to a car has been drinking. Flying back tomorrow x

piglet81 · 15/09/2017 18:09

Oh no, I'm so sorry - and what a difficult position to be in!

LadyPug · 15/09/2017 18:26

Oh filly really feeling for you right now!!!

cautiousoptimist1 · 15/09/2017 18:42

So sorry to hear that holdtight, look after yourself Flowers.

Oh filly, what a terrible situation. Can a hotel help?

HerSymphonyAndSong · 15/09/2017 18:43

Oh no filly what a rotten thing to happen. Hope it turns out ok and your journey home isn't uncomfortable

readysetcake · 15/09/2017 18:48

Oh filly how awful for you. Hope you have some support.

RedPanda25 · 15/09/2017 20:13

Sorry just catching up now. I'm so sorry @HoldTightPretendItsAPlan and @Fillybee. Thinking of you both and hope you have some support.

Kirstipops · 15/09/2017 20:31

Holdtight and Fillybee, so sorry for you both :( Filly what a rotten predicament to be in, I hope the night isn't too long for you xx

MammaBear18 · 15/09/2017 20:48

So sorry HoldTight and Filly Sad hope you have someone to hug you right now. Not a good day on our little thread Sad

Kirstipops · 15/09/2017 21:07

Even though it's only been 3 years since I was last preg my memory is pants so I dunno if I had this last time - anyone else feeling a bit achey in the abdomen and back area already? It's not cramp or even painful as such, just achey! I'm only 5 weeks today! I have a terrible cough so maybe I'm just sore from that though, Hmm

LadyPug · 15/09/2017 22:27

Nope, not just you, I'm exactly the same kirstypops feel all crampy and back hurting all the time, also don't remember from first time around!
