We're pretty early but thought I'd start a thread to see if anyone else is here already.

I'm 4+1, apparently due around 2 May. Would be great to have some company :). Already obsessing over every little thing. The next 8 weeks are going to drag!

Welcome to new folks!
Anyone else having trouble sleeping? For a week or so I have been v tired in the evenings, have gone to bed and fallen asleep easily then woken after a few hours and wide awake until I manage to get another hour or so before I have to get up

RedPanda25 · 09/09/2017 06:52

Oh great I'll join the FB group now. I'll send you my email address, thank you for sorting!

I think it can be quite normal to have cramps like that @Brianpercival with all the stretching etc but I would maybe go and ask your GP if you're worried? Then he/she can put your mind at rest?

HerSymphonyAndSong · 09/09/2017 06:54

Brian I think if the pain is at all sharp it would be worth calling the GP (or out of hours service)

katiegd · 09/09/2017 07:01

Hi all, welcome new people :).

Brianpercival - I've also had cramping like that - sometimes I've felt exactly like I'm on my period! It seems to be settling down now though (I'm 6+5 now). Apparently it's normal with so much growing and stretching going on in there.

HerSymphonyAndSong - yep, also with you on the weird sleeping. Luckily I've managed to get through to 6am the last few nights but that's still ridiculously early for me!

I'm generally doing ok, feeling a bit more relaxed. Is anyone having any nausea or food aversions/cravings? I'm definitely feeling sick when I'm hungry and craving salty foods. Had a massive craving for gherkins/cornichons yesterday (so cliché).

MotherofBoy · 09/09/2017 07:42

I have developed a good aversion to coconut. That's a new one! Last time I had aversions to all meat (most inconvenient as I'm not vegetarian) and pretty much anything that wasn't fruit, cheese or potatoes. Last time I craved oranges and olives so will see what it is this time!

I also get lots of aching, stretching feeling down there. Plus really bloated with awful indigestion. Boobs still not tender. Had panic yesterday as boobs didn't hurt but they are back today with a vengeance!

4+2

Hi ladies can I join please?
Due 1st May 2018.
Had a scan yesterday due to spotting but thankfully all is well and saw the heartbeat was amazing! 6+ 4 today 😁
Forgot how worrying pregnancy is!

Starting to feel a little more nauseous but not been sick as of yet and lots of cramps which I've been told is quite normal!
tCongratulations to you all and wish you all a happy and healthy 9 months! Grin

katiegd · 09/09/2017 08:07

Hi Poppy - welcome! I remember you from the BFP thread :). Glad scan was reassuring. I also had one on Monday due to bleeding and all was fine.

Just had my first almost-puking moment while eating breakfast. Trying to power through as I know I'll feel better after eating.

My son (3) is making sure I don't get too much sleep. He has always been always a terrible sleeper but started seeping through the night about half a year ago (waking up 5-6am but still amazing!). Then we went on holiday and something changed so he's up 2-3 times a night. I'm shattered! That's one think I don't look forward to - two kids who don't sleep. Brrr!!

Poppy012 · 09/09/2017 09:06

Yes I remember you! Ah glad the scan went well, me and you seem to keep crossing paths and having similar times don't we 😁
So lovely seeing baby on the scan isn't it makes it seem more real! Is this your first baby?
Ahh lovely 😂 I have had this once when eating... oh the joys.
When is your due date? Have you got your midwife booked and 12 week scan date?
X

Hairgician · 09/09/2017 09:14

@Hireath17 I got a 3+ around that stage, 5 days after getting a 2-3 on one! Am 5+5 by my dates today.

janiesum · 09/09/2017 11:42

Hi; I'm due around the 6th May. Please can I be added to the Facebook group? I'm hew on here and don't know how to private message anyone to request an add lol.
Thanks

Hiraeth17 · 09/09/2017 11:51

Hi all. I'd like to join on FB - no idea how to PM anyone either though!

Dorotha · 09/09/2017 11:52

@janiesum just follow these instructions: www.mumsnet.com/info/private-messaging

MotherofBoy · 09/09/2017 11:57

Ugh proper bout of morning sickness this morning. Nearly vommed in the car! Properly got the whole metallic taste just before you puke. Wasn't actually sick tho. Felt better after some prawn crackers Grin never had this with DS... I went off food yes and didn't want to eat but never felt nauseous. Hoping this stops sharpish haha!

npn1989 · 09/09/2017 12:10

Hi everyone! I got my BFP yesterday! I think I'm about 3-4 weeks. Got a docs appointment on Thursday. Hope you're all feeling well and symptoms are at bay for a bit! X x sexlubeandafishslice (not sure how to tag you) I have PM'd you about the facebook group! Grin

npn1989 · 09/09/2017 12:10

Oh i do know how to tag after all Easter Smile

Catndogmummy · 09/09/2017 12:19

After a few days feeling nauseous the sickness has started this morning 🤢 I'm hoping this isn't a sign of what's to come for the next few weeks!

Alou88 · 09/09/2017 12:20

Hi can I join please. Am 6+3 with my first, think I'm sure around the 4th may but have a slightly longer cycle so not sure!

janiesum · 09/09/2017 12:36

I don't appear to have an inbox; not that I can find by following those instructions anyway 😂

janiesum · 09/09/2017 12:36

I can't work out how to tag people either

janiesum · 09/09/2017 12:38

Woke up this morning with no breast pain, not feeling sick and tested to find my pink line is fading. Not feeling very positive at the moment Sad
We fly out on holiday on Wednesday, so trying to stay upbeat but not really.

npn1989 · 09/09/2017 12:54

janiesum i couldn't work it out on the app or mobile mode either. If you come out of mobile mode the instructions should work. Also I'm putting a * either side of people's names. I think that works? I'm a newbie too! X x

npn1989 · 09/09/2017 12:57

seizethecuttlefish i have my fingers crossed for you! Try not to worry. I hope you and your family have a lovely holiday Smile x x

Dorotha · 09/09/2017 13:00

You need to come out of mobile mode and just use the site.
