Lesley, I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I have to say I don't know what to suggest, and it is only you that can make that decision.

Bubblez, you sound incredibly calm and laid back after a rather scary experience. Really hope you and your new baby are doing ok.

CD, your dinner sounds yummy!

Hope everyone else is ok and having a good evening.

Dh and Becky are due back in about half an hour and I am so bloody nervous.

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:07

pmsl at octo, sounds just like me, "am really hoping not as have just paid £50 for him to go to preschool this week on extra hours - and that he may be poorly of course!!!!!"

octo · 01/04/2007 21:09

SOSPL - why are you nervous - what have I missed?

bubblez · 01/04/2007 21:11

octo · 01/04/2007 21:16

Aha thought she had done something naughty like buy another pram or amby nest LOL

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:24

guilty concience? have you been shopping again octo

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 01/04/2007 21:25

Oh Bubblez, what a beautiful baby, and what a gorgeous big sis!

Octo, I am only nervous as I haven't seen them since Thursday am. I am always like this when I haven't seen B for a bit - I wonder how she is going to react with me. I am feeling a bit insecure about being a parent at the moment (too late now I hear you all shout!) and am also feeling realy tired and emotional in general.

What timing for your ds to get chicken pox. It seems to be doing the rounds. Hope he is ok. x

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:25

ok, this is very funny!

bubblez · 01/04/2007 21:35

Sorry it took me so long to write the last msg (was winding baby with one hand typing with the other) that i didn't realise that ppl had posted....

Pesha thanks for even thinking about txtin to see how i am....

Today has been the first day that we have been able to stay at home and relax with out hospital visits etc so that might help with the feeling calm... Tomorrow we have two mw's coming round to do a 'de-briefing' which will mean reliving the whole thing step by step, great! At least after that we can finally get on with enjoying the fact that we have a new baby and she is safe and well.

Ok realy am going to sleep now.... night all xx

octo · 01/04/2007 21:40

Ahhh sospl - it will all be fine I am sat hear listening to mine snoring away ... bliss!

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:43

why is it that children snoring is sooooooo cute bt when dh/dp does it it's sooooooooooo annoying?

octo · 01/04/2007 21:46

Because children sound like cute snuffly bunnies and men sound like giant, smelly pot bellied madagascan wart hogs with bad breath and nasal congestion issues!

Pesha · 01/04/2007 21:48

I dont know about that octo, my dd does some pretty serious snoring at times!

octo · 01/04/2007 21:49

I wear ear plugs to bed

Pesha · 01/04/2007 21:52

Oh and bubblez have been thinking about texting loads but up until today thought should def leave you alone. Was soo exciting getting your text Your baby is asolutely gorgeous and so is 'big sis', is it mia or is that my pg brain getting confused again? I really should know, sorry She's beautiful anyway

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:52

safe to assume Octo's dh snores then

Pesha · 01/04/2007 21:55

One of the good things about dp working nights is not having to put up with his snoring

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:56

that'll be another plus point to go on my 'bonuses of being a single mum' chart

octo · 01/04/2007 21:56

Not in deep sleep - in light sleep - so if I have woken up and can't get comfy it disturbs him and then he starts snoring ....arararagggghhhhhhh and then I can't get back to sleep.

Talking of sleep.... good night!

Mossie · 01/04/2007 21:56

I have a confession to make. I keep lurking here to see how many of you have been popping early (I'm from the Due in March thread btw. Should be called Overdue in March now imo).

Just wanted to come along and say a big congratulations to all of you queue-jumpers!

Am a bit though... send some labour vibes my way!

xxxx

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:58

feel free to lurk mossie, i guess you've sort of become 'due in april' by default

thePA · 01/04/2007 21:58
