hey ladies - had a quick skim, checked emails and such like so am uptodate with current situations... can find info on autumn lover though - can someone update me please?

Had a lovely day today - lady garden trim, hair cut, and a wee bit of shopping. Got some nice m&s food for later as its our anniversary today!!

Looking forward to the weekend as its supposed to be nice and sunny - we're off to liverpool to see friends and go to liverpool game, dp desperatly hoping that wee charlie will make an appearance tomorrow!!!

Eddas · 30/03/2007 16:43

PMSL at the other thread ladies very naughty! Glad it was nipped in the bud tho as really can't be arsed to be called hormonal pg ladies again, yawn.

Been tidying and cleaning all day, i'm sure i'm not nesting as i did not enjoy it one bit just felt i had to do it. Got a lovely roast cooking in the oven, yummy, lovvve roast potatoes, will have lots with loads of gravy. Am drooling now

nellyhel · 30/03/2007 16:50

sospl - don't mention TalkTalk in this house !!! We ended up at Ombudsman and won compensation. I can't say any more or might put up blood pressure or something!!

Katy44 · 30/03/2007 16:54

Congratulations ooggs!

weeonion and octo, you're not really leaving are you please come back, I've only had a quick glance at the other thread but surely it has all died down now?

runnyhabbit · 30/03/2007 16:56

Just about managed to catch up on all the threads.
PMSl at the "other" threads - would've loved to have joined in, but I'm too chicken
Ds still being grizzly, but then so would I if the only thing I could eat was yogurt.
Can't remember who was having problems with TalkTalk, but work changed over to them last summer, and basically we were without fax, internet and email for over 2 weeks boss was on holiday for one of them. Would def not use them. My sis has got a good deal with Sky for broadband - only £5 extra a month on top of her normal Sky subscription.

Bramshott - I'm living in my DP trousers. Wish I'd bought 2 pairs, because I'm sure I'm actually going to wear them out

runnyhabbit · 30/03/2007 17:02

Just found the perfect way of getting dh to finish jobs done around the house - threaten to do them myself

I ahve been asking dh to put gates across our drive to stop ds running out. Ds loves being in the garden/playing on the drive, but there's nothing stopping him running out. Anyway, took matters into my own hands today. Went to B&Q, go some metre high garden trellis stuff etc to put up. Then casually rang dh to ask where the hammer was. You can imagine the conversation Needless to say, dh is adamant the gates will be put up tomorrow
Will have to remember this tactic for future reference

Eddas · 30/03/2007 17:07

Runny, it's always good to do that

Bless em, sometimes they need a bit of pursation(sp) I'm sick of a bag of salt(for the water softner) in the under stairs cupboard, destined for the shed but has not reached there yet. So today i have moved it to the kitchen floor, only a couple of meters and dragged it but i know he'll ask how it got there Might make him shift it though as it's right in the way now

maveta · 30/03/2007 17:12

runny and eddas - LOL. I do the same thing, just start unloading tools or climb up onto a chair to reach something and he´s up like lightening

Mind you this has only really applied since I´ve been pregnant as I am usually more than capable of doing anything that he can do and am so impatient that I do just get on with it anyway!

Eddas · 30/03/2007 17:14

Oh yep it only happens whilst pg so am gonna make the most of it seeing as i'm due on monday

He's not been nearly as bad at being overprotective this time though. Was a nightmare last time.

runnyhabbit · 30/03/2007 17:23

I think it was the thought of me going into his precious garage/workshop and getting the tools out
I swear to god, that garage has had more done to it then our entire house. The weekend we moved in, he painted the inside of it "to brighten it up"
I guess sometimes you just have to humour them

bEllieK · 30/03/2007 17:24

are you due on monday Eddas?

Katy44 · 30/03/2007 17:31

Ooh the top of my bump keeps going tight and then releasing - thought I'd had BHs before, but maybe not!

LesleyR · 30/03/2007 17:36

I've been having those too. Feel really different to the at the bottom of my bump tightenings I get when I've been running around too much.

YvieE · 30/03/2007 17:37

Katy was today your last day at work?

Katy44 · 30/03/2007 17:40

Yes it was - do you think the baby's taken this as a sign?
LesleyR - I had feelings which were just like the bottom of my bump tightening, but couldn't tell if it was just the baby shifting positions - this top of bump os definitely my uterus contracting - are you the same?
Yvie - how are you feeling about LO's movements today?

bEllieK · 30/03/2007 17:41

if you haven't already, PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAILS

Welcome LuceWheel!
Can't believe your first post was on probably the most controversial thread of the week!
We need to know the size of your nipples and whether you prefer mini eggs or creme eggs.

Eddas · 30/03/2007 17:46

Yep monday is my due date so two weeks on monday i'll be induced and then i'll have the baby

runnyhabbit · 30/03/2007 17:48

Hi Lucewheel

You don't have to be mad to be on this thread, but it certainly help

LesleyR · 30/03/2007 17:50

Thanks for mail bEllie Katy I've been having these tightenings for the last couple of days but very off and on. I'm assuming they're still just BH but different now LO head is engaged and I'm closer to my due date (09/04). It's my first so it's all new to me, but I do feel more like somthing is happening when I get one of these than the other kind of BH IYKWIM.

YvieE · 30/03/2007 17:51

There doesn't really seem to be a pattern with LO's movements, but she's moving . No drafts or nails to encourage her to move - but think she may like Frosties
So how was your last day Katy - i felt kinda tearful at mine even although i couldn't wait to leave

LesleyR · 30/03/2007 17:52

Welcome Lucewheel, I joined the thread a week ago (is that all! I need to get out more)and can vouch that they're all friendly and slightly mad

bEllieK · 30/03/2007 17:53

Eddas - I know who your swappee was!
