Morning!I'm here and may even be able to stay for the day as am slacking from work......hehehe, off to catch up on recent controversey.......Sorry no hot cross buns here, got some chocolate shortbread in time for morning coffee if you fancy....?

foxybrown · 29/03/2007 10:08

lovely mytwocents! I'll put kettle on

kiwinat · 29/03/2007 10:14

Just had a bounty bar (mini of course) to see me through. Must get some buns in on the weekend though.

All is well, starting to get back/hip pain now, and the the LB (lil b'stard as DH and I refer to him) is lying across, so every time he moves it's uncomfortable to the point of painful, but not quite painful IYKWIM.

Yep, looking forward to the month off before LB arrives. Time to finish off sorting out odds and sodds. The nursery has been taken over by bags of house guests at the mo, been with us for a month, should be moving into their house this w/end or next, so hopefully over easter we can finish off the room.

Going to see Bare Naked Ladies in Leeds tonight, will be LB's second concert, the first being Tenacious D

foxybrown · 29/03/2007 10:17

do they still make plain chocolate bountys, the ones in the red wrappers?

I do not know who you are talking about!!! I'm so old!!!!!!!!!!!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 10:19

Naughty foxy, wearing heels!! Glad the aquarium was good, did you see any Nemos?

Hi mytwocents! Choc shortbread sounds yum!

Ooo Royal Mail van just pulled up outside!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 10:20

it wasn't parcels for me!

foxybrown · 29/03/2007 10:21

anything good Holly?

Our postie has just been, bringing good news! First Direct are going to refund all my bank charges I reclaimed! Its on £163, but its 100%!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 10:24

I did that with my bank and got back £1400!!

sputnik · 29/03/2007 10:24

God I missed all the fun last night, could've done with a laugh too. Is there no end to miserable bastards out there?

I think our next title should be "You toucha my thread title, I smasha your face then burst into hormonal tears and demand more chocolate. Twunt. Now pass the rampant rabbit."

kiwinat · 29/03/2007 10:25

I don't know about the red bountys....

I'm old too, so says my younger DH! BNL have been around awhile. I got into them after hearing a song used for mitsubishi ad, don't know if you had the same ad in uk though. It went, "it's been one week since you looked at me dropped your head to the side and said I'm angry....

....I'm the kind of guy that laughs at a funeral, can't understand what I mean, well you soon will..."

BNL website

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 10:26

It was great fun sputnik! Loads of sad miserable witches out there, was good to argue with them! Good title thread BTW!

foxybrown · 29/03/2007 10:30

bloody hell Holly, thats a result!

Did you get interest? This is without so I'm wondering whether to accept this or not, initially I slapped on 8%.

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 10:33

No I didn't add interest, my initial claim was for about £1800, but I accepted their offer of £1400 so I didn't have to go to court. We are doing dp's atm and will have to take them to small claims court as they are not playing ball. It will cost £120, but the claim is for about £2500, so will be worth it.

You are v brave going to a concert kiwinat! I don't think I could handle it, I'm old before my time !

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 11:16

I tell you what I'm going to do in a minute...I'm going to take my garden hose walk across the road and spray freezing cold water all over my neighbours' fucking dog! It barks constantly from when they leave in the morning til they get home at night and it's driving me bonkers! I am seriously thinking about reporting it to someone! It's a lovely dog though, but they are horrible people. It doesn't go indoors even at night, poor thing.

mytwocents · 29/03/2007 11:21

Heh, people really get wound up on mn don't they? About silly things, it does make you want to be even more ofensive just to goad, like being in school.

mytwocents · 29/03/2007 11:23

H I did'nt mean you, dog sounds v annoying!

foxybrown · 29/03/2007 11:28

But very entertaining too! Have been dipping into the 'whats the most mortifying thing you've done' thread (am far too crap to be able to link it) and it has me PMSL. And the 'ever had sex with someone else in the room'.

Oh well. Gotta go and get DS2 and DD1. Thats my peace shattered. Did do about 1% of the filing though.

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 11:34

My belt thingy has just arrived! I've managed to get it on (took me ages, the instructions are crap) and it seems to be working. I can now walk upright, which is good! Minus point though is it squishes my love handles and makes them stick out! I don't care, at least I can walk! I would go for a walk now, but it keeps raining !

Mytwocents, some people use mn as a chance to argue! It can be quite fun winding them up though!

mytwocents · 29/03/2007 11:47

yes is fun, sometimes wonder why people are so uptight, I spend my working days surrounded by people with chronic mental illness, REAL troubles you know? And some lady wants to object to a bit of jokey virtual imagined violence ??!!!Pah huff puff...
Sounds like your poor neighbors dog needs to be let in at night, maybe you should ring the RSPCA ?
Foxy I have MOUNDS of filing that I'm putting off doing... just such a boring job!
Off swimming now in lunch break, hope to shift horrid back ache- H , should I get a belt then?

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 11:54

Well after wearing my belt for 5 mins I realised it wasn't really working and it was super uncomfortable, so I'm sending it back. I may go and see the gp and see if I can get a proper one on prescription.

The bloody dog is still barking! I've just been over to see if it is ok and the poor little thing is sat by their back door barking its head off! It's such a sweet thing and looked so pleased to see me, I want to bring it in and play with it!!

mytwocents · 29/03/2007 12:06

Is it a wide one? I've seen them in a jojo catalogue for £15.....

mytwocents · 29/03/2007 12:07

Poor dog, crap owners by the sound of it!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 29/03/2007 12:20

No it was a thin one. I've just looked in the Jojo catalogue and it's like the Reenie one in there, the thin white one. I think I need something a bit more substantial!

mummyjx · 29/03/2007 12:31

Jeremey Clarkson

Feel I have missed lots of stuff but am too idle to read through the thread.

My due date is around 17 June. Am currently scared in case it is early and I am not prepared. Unfortunately DH is (always) busy at work, now to get busier as season starting, and is always too tired on day off to do anything to help. I am currently alternating one day of frenzied activity (well, maybe a little bit of housework) with the rest of the week feeling to crap to do anything at all except get dressed, and I don't even have a job, just DS1&2. Anyone else still feeling crap or are we all blooming?

Am awaiting delivery of a pair of fuschia pink crocs. Am hoping they will be so comfy my cramp will go, along with backache, and that thing you get in your heel that no-one outside the health profession can pronounce.

Must go, am being boring now.

sputnik · 29/03/2007 12:52

H&A, I found with the belt that it didn't really make a difference you could feel when you're wearing it, so much as afterwards, ie if I go for a walk then next day I ache much less than I would've done if I hadn't been wearing it IYSWIM.

Hi Mummyjx, Jeremy Clarkson???? Did I miss something or was he the subject of your latest erotic dream (oh god please noooooo)
