Seansgirl · 08/04/2007 21:12

foxybrown · 08/04/2007 21:12
Grin
foxybrown · 08/04/2007 21:13

Mine doesn't know about it ... he thinks I'm shopping ...my secret double life ... my new friends ... sharing all my marital woes with you guys .... tee hee hee

bumperlicious · 08/04/2007 21:14

Lol Foxy! I know that seems like the simple answer and he'd think it was his birthday and Xmas come at once, just don't know if I could logistically manage it at the moment - i'm just so uncomfortable!

riabutterflew · 08/04/2007 21:14

This is a very nice and friendly place to be.

Today I feel relieved but guilty as step-daughter ill and cancelled, so I have had a lovely day being looked after by my mum while my dad looked after the boys. I have also indulged in being loudly pissed off with DH and he is now asleep and I - as usual - am all alone with the computer. How sad is that? (why can't he even make an effort to talk to me on the one night he gets in from work before I go to sleep when I have stayed up 'til at least 2am twice this week to listen to him after work. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)

Lady Chatterly is on sky tonight - YIPEE. Don't think I'll watch it though, don't want to get carried away (I am actually waiting until my dad has delivered the b'day card for DS1 tomorrow and then I am going to order a pizza, but I just know if I do it now he and the delivery man will arrive at the same time.)

Am glad everyone has had a nice-to-lovely day. I have eaten ONE creme egg (I only had one - also very sad).

Re maternity clothes. They seem to sell well on ebay (as that is where I am buying mine.) The trousers I wore today were far too big. If I didn't have such fat legs woud go for leggings. Need some much longer tops though (or just to not leave the house for the next ten weeks.)

Seansgirl · 08/04/2007 21:15

That and we have been doing mammoth house rearranging in order to empty the room that will be the nursery ready for decorating. So, I am now sitting in another room in the only spare room left in the house and there is so much effing stuff in here now its like a bloody junk shop! Gonna find that thread now the bj one.......

bumperlicious · 08/04/2007 21:15

Seansgirl if that was re: my thread it's not as interesting as Foxy made it sound!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 08/04/2007 21:16

My dp always thinks I'm slagging him off on here...he is sometimes correct!! He is watching cricket, so I am on MN. It is a fair trade off!

Seansgirl · 08/04/2007 21:17

Ria! No...... Sean is in that.....boo hoo! I don't have sky.....

foxybrown · 08/04/2007 21:19

Mine too Holly. Oh no, the crickets not on, its golf. I made him get sky+ in the other room too, for his sport. Now we spend every evening apart.

No bad thing

Seansgirl · 08/04/2007 21:19

It was Bumper, TBH I wouldn't know what to look for anyway..... it just bought back memories of a former existance....... (sigh!)

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 08/04/2007 21:22

I don't mind watching sport so much, the computer is in the living room, so I usually do things on here (if you hadn't already noticed) whilst he watches dull stuff!! There is quite rarely anything on I want to watch, so I don't mind.

Seansgirl · 08/04/2007 21:25

I felt really crap today when someone asked me about my hobbies and interests.........I really struggled I used to have some, but now its DD, house and associated stuff. I am social leper! I have noticed that sometimes I struggle to express myself when I'm talking, I think as have very limited stimulating adult conversation these days.

so are we going with big bum/big tum whatever as this is talking forever to load. Think had better go as DH is waiting to watch a DVD with me. 24 that is, nothing erotic (unfortunately)

xxx

bumperlicious · 08/04/2007 21:25

Well, I'd better go, in my effort to appreciate DH more I should actually go and talk to him!

Foxy, sorry you and TP aren't getting on so well. I hope there is something you can do to make it better. It must be difficult maintaining a relationship with a family. I guess DH and I are still in the honeymoon period and it's easier with just the 2 of us. Well aware that we are going to have to seriously work at things once the baby comes along and changes thing. Listen to me anyway, you don't need relationship advice from an upstart like me just makes me feel sad you aren't having a very good time with him. And here's me going on about how fab my DH is. It's a good job really coz I'm a witch to him!

Right, really am off now. Have a good evening!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 08/04/2007 21:29

IKWYM seansgirl! I have no hobbies or interests either and very few friends!! I have turned into a social recluse and rarely talk to anyone except dp and my parents! It's very sad and when I do meet up with my friends I don't have any interesting stories to tell them that don't involve my dd. I don't usually mind, but when I need to talk to someone I am often stuck crying on my own! Maybe that's why I am on MN so much!

derlor · 08/04/2007 21:30

ok chicks new thread here

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 08/04/2007 21:30

foxybrown · 08/04/2007 21:32

Its just the noise I can't stand. Cheering, people having a good time ....

I didn't want to lower the tone of Bumpers warm and lovely thread Seansgirl, thats why I waited til on here!

derlor · 08/04/2007 21:33

oops not there after all - not such a smarty pants am i - just go to active threads it's there.... sorry!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 08/04/2007 21:36

Oh Bumper, you are sweet! My relationship is probably the one thing which I let myself down on! I'm a crappy wife. If I put in one iota of effort into my 'marriage' as I did my children, home, life, it'd be pretty good.

TBH, I need to take a bit of my own advice on making my man feel special.

Bite the bullet, so to speak

derlor · 08/04/2007 21:38

Don't bite it Foxy you'll hurt him!!!!!!

OP posts:
hollyandtheeasterbunny · 08/04/2007 21:40

Maybe he likes it like that!!

hollyandtheeasterbunny · 08/04/2007 21:41
