I got my scan date through the post yesterday! Sep 12th - I'll be almost 13 weeks then (exactly 13 if I go by our early scan) but so glad it's on a day without meetings. Fingers crossed work won't ask why I want to work from home that day...

Yesterday I was more exhausted than I've ever been, I'm hoping it was a one off but up at 6.45am this morning still knackered.

I'm back in hospital... I am 11+3 and still throwing up.

I got some maternity clothes but only the future grandparents bought baby stuff so far.

Hi ladies - got my scan date through the post - 6th sept. Hopefully it will start to feel real then as I think I'm still in a bit of a shock / don't quite believe it's all happening.

We haven't bought anything yet - waiting until the scan so I can actually believe there is a baby in there.

Oh no @OrangeCloud18 what's wrong? Is it because of the sickness you're in?

In 12+2 and still throwing up, it's exhausting. But the meds and sick bands brought me a little relief. I haven't eaten a proper meal in weeks. But did manage a couple of sips of DH's cup of tea this morning. Jeez that was bliss! I've been pretty much trapped in the house but determined to go out this morning.

I feel the same Mrsw0812! My scan is Thursday and I really really want to just know what's going on in there!

I'm 11-2 now and tired and sore boobs but no more nausea

Sympathies to everyone feeling rough (and especially OrangeCloud in hospital) - fingers crossed for symptoms passing soon!

I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and back to umming and ahhing about booking a private scan this coming week. I'd thought I'd be happy to wait for my 12w scan (14 Sept), but now I'm feeling a bit like I'd like reassurance that this sicky phase is for a definite good reason. Can't decide. May just depend how busy my week at work is looking tbh! My line manager knows I'm pregnant and I know they'll be totally fine about taking the time off, but my work still has to be done and I really don't want to be firing up the laptop into the evening more often than strictly necessary just now!

I'm getting nowhere with this exhaustion, it just won't shift despite doing almost nothing since Wednesday night. My nausea is still at a higher level, with a lot more back-of-the-throat sicks, though no full vomiting. Had awful nightmares all of last night too.

I have my first private scan at 1 oclock should be about 9 weeks. Feeling sick with nerves but thinking positive thoughts and what will be will be.

In terms of maternity clothes I've already got jeans, a work dress and a pencil skirt for work, best decision ever! So much more comfortable! You're gunna need them at some point so I thought I might aswell be comfortable now. I've sized up with some work trousers but they just dont fit right on the rest of my body

@Sallywiththegoodhurrr glad to hear you think that your sickness might be easing off. I hope so!

My nausea has come back at 11 weeks, but it's not as bad as it was before, and I'm convinced all the antibiotics I had to take has triggered it. I used it as an excuse yesterday to eat lots of salted Kettle Chips!

I haven't bought a thing yet, as I'm too nervous! I just want my 12 week scan to be over (and for all to be well of course!).

Just had harmony scan and test, I'm 10+2 by my dates but measuring 10+4. Good heartbeat and baby waved 😁 Now to cross fingers the results are ok!

12 week scan on 6th September so aaages away and I'll be 12+6

My partner is out so I can chill out by the TV. Bad things to watch on netflix while pregnant: stuff where a baby dies. Blubbing like an idiot now.

Phew! Our internet was down for a few days, and I have several pages to catch up on!

I see everyone is starting to have their scans now. Exciting!

My dating scan is on the 6th September, and I'm looking forward to it (apart from the needing a full bladder). I had an ultrasound last year (non-pregnancy related) and then it was uncomfortable. I know it's going to be even worse when I'm already needing to go for a wee a lot more!

I've not bought anything yet. I've been eyeing things up online (moses baskets and the like) but I'm not going to buy anything for a while yet. Once I've had my dating scan (and assuming everything is all right) I'm going to tell my brother and my cousins. I've got a five year old nephew, and my cousins have some kids who range from about six down to about two. I'm hoping they might have some stuff left over, cheapskate that I am. I'm determined to try and get lots of stuff second-hand, because I only work part-time and my partner doesn't have a fabulously paying job (plus when you can get a practically non-used moses basket for £10 as opposed to a brand-new one for £50+ I can't argue with it!).

Obviously car seat and mattresses will be new, though.

On shopping, we have an electrician coming next week finally. I've just picked 3 light fitting choices for the baby's room, it was meant to be a different light but I couldn't resist. I'm not sure if I like the cute pterodactyl, the smiling sun or the block with moon & stars (including night light setting) the best, will let my partner pick. So that'll be the first thing for the baby, a cute light fitting. Oh, and I DO have a bathroom door handle since last night, whoop!

Scan went perfect. Baby was asleep so takes after me! Burst out crying when they played the heart beat outloud

Flatwhite oh i know tell me about it, mine is on the 30th and it would have only been 20 days since my previous scan but alot can happen in that time. I feel really nervous! When is yours? X

I'm also nervous about 12 week scan - I have no real reason to be as I saw heartbeat at 8 weeks and I've had no bleeding or cramps etc but it's just scary cuz you can't see inside your womb lol. Mine's on the 29th Aug.

Morning all, room for 1 more? Got my bfp yesterday but due to lmp I'm prob around 10 weeks. Already have DD who's just turned 1.

I'm honestly so worried about it @BlueeSpottyTiger! I don't think Reading sad stories on the Internet helps! Mine is on Wed morning.
