@weasledee I'm glad to hear your doing ok, can't imagine what it'd be like to be in your shoes but your amazing for staying positive through all the sadness and I hope your good news comes as soon as your ready for it x

@adorableMisfit my friend recently got very high risk on the NHS test but the all clear on NIPT. I did the harmony test with babybond and got my results in 4 working days. I hope you get the results soon and that it turns out everything's ok.

Yes Ruth, you go into the gynaecology ward rather than maternity. The staff were amazing, can't praise them enough.
I'm going to drink wine and eat a lot of rare steak whilst I can. Once all investigations have ended and we have closure, we'll start trying again. X

Just found my way over here from the pregnancy boards.

14w6d. Due 22nd Jan with first.

16wk MW appointment on 17th Aug and 20wk scan on 8th Sept.

All very exciting, but nerve wrecking too. Bit of an odd time round about now, most symptoms have pretty much vanished, but still no real visible bump other than what looks like a bit of bloating and no feelings of movement. Feeling very un-pregnant at the moment!

Trying to resist the urge to shop before 20wk scan! I work in a school, so I've got 6 lovely weeks off aside from a couple of days here and there when I need to pop in, keep finding myself getting bored and googling items and I have to remind myself it's too soon!

Booked onto mothercare expectant parent event on the 20th Aug.

I don't think there's much else to tell you :).

Anyone else got a sore bump? Had a scan yesterday and they dug right in, could it be that? Only sore when I touch it... I'm 16.3 weeks

@Ruthcarr1990 omg I was out at dinner with DH last night (celebrating our wedding anniversary next week!) and he ordered pate with chutney and thin slices of toasted sourdough as a starter and I was soooooo tempted to have some. I think I was almost drooling.

Meat pate contains too much Vitamin A which isn't good in pregnancy as can lead to birth defects. Also pate contains higher levels of listeria bacteria.

I've been craving a lot of salami which I don't think I'm allowed to eat in pregnancy either :(

@millsbynight it's jut not fair!!! It's all I can think about. I just want to sit here with a tub of it and trough till my hearts content!! Xxx

I know it sucks! At dinner the starters were all 'beef carpaccio' or 'tuna tartare' or 'pate'... literally NOTHING a preggo woman can eat.

As soon as January rolls around you'll find me eating steak and chugging prosecco

Thank you!! It was really lovely at the scan today :) they did a sneak peak of 3D scan and I've always thought they were a bit strange lol but when it's your own it's just amazing to see so much detail! Especially this early on too, I didn't expect him to look so 'baby' like yet 💙

Hi ladies, I can't remember if I've already posted on here so would be great to join you all if that's ok? EDD 21st January with my first and a mixture of nerves/anxiety and excitement! 15 weeks today and no bump but a lot of bloating! Did anyone feel any movement at 15 weeks? I'm sure I can feel something that resembles bubbles and stretchy feelings but hardly anything yet.

@AmandaP86x almost exactly the same as you! 16 week app on 11th August and 20 week scan on 6th September!

@Ruthcarr1990 - how funny, mine is also at 10am! Have you any feelings as to what you're having? I'm sure mines a girl...

I don't no. I've had 7 mcs before this one I also have dd.

Have a feeling it may be a boy but don't no. My dh isn't my dd she dad and it is only boys on his side. Xxx

A while ago on the last thread I posted about pain in my pelvic area and tail bone - it's got much worse since then and I've not been diagnosed with PGP.

Anyone else suffering or had it before? I've been referred for physio and I've also found a pregnancy chiropractor I'm going to call today, but it would still be great to hear other experiences or tips! xx
