Officially half way today and the other half has just managed to feel Peanut wriggling around! Had a few visible kicks too! Find out on Friday if we are having a boy or girl!

We considered getting a double pram for when we have my step son as he will be just between 18 months and 2 years when baby is born (ny partner and his mum had a bad relationship and had split when she first got pregnant so we was together before he was born) but have decided when we have him for the first few months baby can go in a sling and him in buggy then will get a buggy board as he already loves walking rather than being strapped into his pram

I've decided on a csection. Just so I can organise dd. Xxx

@millsbynight it's mad that we are half way already! So exciting, feels like it's gone so quick so far! Will get a bump pic in a bit I feel massive already specially as it's my first but think it's due to having two wombs, pushing baby outwards a bit I think so showed a bit earlier than expected

@millsbynight How tiny is your bump? I'm so jealous I look 9 months already!!

I was the same with DS @ziggzagg then started to really get big from around 28weeks. I've put on loads of weight on my hips and arse though 😭 Not helped by the fact that I'm not active or a gym-goer at all and developed a craving for McDonalds chocolate milkshakes and bacon & egg mcmuffins 🙈

Plus you have a beautiful round "proper" bump @ziggzagg

@millsbynight Thank you!! Just dreading getting bigger although I haven't put any weight on anywhere else thank God!

Didn't realise how much paint was on the mirror . Very dirty! That was me a few days ago but isn't as round now.

Has anyone weighed themselves?? I've put on 4 pounds already!!!!

I haven't put on any weight (in fact I lost a stone in the first trimester, cheers morning sickness) but I already have a high BMI so that's to be expected - but I have definitely noticed a big difference in where my weight is deposited. My hips and outer thighs are wider already! 4lbs doesn't sound bad to me at all - don't they say 2lbs-3lbs in the first trimester and then around 1lb a week?

I've lost 6 pounds since being pregnant! Due to the terrible morning sickness I had from 6-16 weeks

I have lost 9kg due to hyperemesis. I have put on 3kg in second trimester but still a 6kg loss overall.

I know I shouldn't be but I am concerned with putting on too much weight throughout the pregnancy
I'm +3kg from start weight and 17+1

I haven't done any exercise as I've been so tired all the time
But that is lifting so have been walking a little

Also just wanting to eat junk food but fancied a salad the other day (first since week 7) so hoping I can start to eat a little healthier now

I've put on a stone already, I'm 18+3. I piled it on in the first trimester, had to eat continually because it stopped me feeling nauseous. Hoping it'll even out now an I won't continue to put it on as rapidly!

I'd put on 3lbs by my 16 week appointment (im 17w now) and my midwife said it was nothing to be worried about and completely normal. So I'm not too concerned, it is what it is.

Last pregnancy I put on 3 stone in all. Lost 1 stone as soon as I had ds, he was 7.10lb and the other half stone was waters etc. The extra 2 stone fell off within a couple of weeks, I actually went smaller than I'd been previously, not by choice it just happened. But that was 16 years ago and although I still have a high metabolism I'm not sure if it will be as easy to lose this time around!

I had put on about a stone and a half with DS until preeclampsia started and I put a huge amount on with the swelling. I was 4 stones heavier than pre-pregnancy just before c section. Then two weeks later I was only a stone heavier than pre-pregnancy so came off quickly. Then took me another year to lose that.

I haven't been here for a while so hi everyone!

Is anyone else suffering from reflux/heartburn? I've got it constantly from when I wake up to when I go to sleep at night rennies and the like aren't even working now! Is there anything the doctor can prescribe that's a bit stronger does anyone know?

@flossyfloss doctor can prescribe omeprazole. It's been amazing. I was vomiting the gaviscon up and I just had acid running up and out of my mouth. Wonderful hyperemesis! Anyway, my acid reflux is pretty non existent now and it's also considerably improved my hyperemesis as I was vomiting so much acid. It has been a lifesaver!

@flossyfloss I am in love with omeprazole. It has allowed me to function!

I lost 5lbs first trimester and still 5lbs down even with my bump!

I lost 3lb yo start with put 1 back on but showing massively specially when taking into account its my first here's me today at 20weeks

Thanks thingy! I had hyperemesis too! It cleared up a few weeks ago and I'm just left with nausea and reflux now deep joy!

I'll ask my gp for some!
