I have just got my BFP and going to be due at the very end of March or start of April.

Anyone else?

I'm 4 weeks tomorrow and the digi said 1-2... that is from conception though not the first day of your last period which is where doctors date it from. Look at the instructions inside the test, there is a little table which says if you get 2-3 you're more likely 4-5, 3+ - 5+ etc x

@Baby 5 weeks (as we mean them) correspond to 3 on the pregnancy test. If I'm not mistaken pregnancy tests go from the date of ovulation/conception and not LMP which is what's commonly used everywhere else. So 2-3 for a 5 week pregnancy is perfectly normal. I got '1-2' last week when I was 3 weeks and 5 days if that makes sense

Oh RU that's horrible . I hope you're getting lots of support. It's not necessarily all over. I have a friend who had a bleed at 7w and baby was fine. She's just turned 1. See what your midwife says, but I can understand that you might not want to be letting yourself feel too hopeful just in case. I'm thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed for you X

@baby it says on the pack that digi weeks indicator isn't accurate if not using FMU. I've a sneaky suspicion I may belong in the March group as I got 3+ last week with evening urine. I like it here though! Seriously thinking of a dating scan soon and then I'll be clearer with dates for GP appointment.

So glad I have mw tomorrow, hoping for an early scan to see if any hope. Speaking to hubby he seems to remember spotting with DS but I must have repressed that!

I was with GP this afternoon (prearranged appointment) so mentioned my pregnancy. He'll just refer me on to the hospital. All very low drama! Have actually said the words out loud now, how strange.

Work meeting this evening and they brought booze. Had to say I am on antibiotics.

I had the same worry with my digi test. Silly things should be the same as everything else.

Happy thoughts to those with spotting. Lots of stuff happens to your body straight away so hopefully it is just your body wtfing at you and it will calm down soon.

I'm 9 dpo today. I tested this evening and I thought my eye caught the sight of a positive line. I ofcourse tried to look at it for about an hour and I swear I don't know if I'm seeing a line or where the line would be if it was positive. My clear blue digital said neg but I'm only 9 dpo so I'm fit too worried about the digital one. Geez, am I crazy? If I move my test around I can catch glimpses of the positive line....I think.

Linz Linz, I can't get a picture of it. I have to move it just to catch faint glimpses of it. Gonna have to buy some more bc I only have my digital one left. Mine is more faint than your first one so idk if I'm seeing things or what.

I'm with you there @parney, I think l might be a little further than l thought too but I like it here. I had stopped tracking af because we had stopped trying after the miserable 2years of ttc.dating scan is the way to go.

Hope you can wait a little longer @baby, but nothing to worry about hun, those tests are indeed notoriously unreliable

Morning ladies, spotting held off overnight and am feeling really sick this morning so hoping that's a positive sign. Will update after mw.
Does anyone know much about implant bleeding? If my spotting was that would it had to have been before my bfp, I.e. def can't be implant bleeding once you already know your pg?

Hey everyone, I got my BFP yesterday which was most unexpected - DS2 is only 5 months old so I'm looking at a 13m age gap - help! I've booked an early scan for next week because I can't believe I'm pregnant again.

EDD 4th April from my dates although I wouldn't be surprised if they're out because I was convinced I hadn't ovulated this month!

Hi crispy, I think there's going to be a few of us with small (ish) age gaps. Although I think yours may be the smallest! Good luck and happy pregnancy :)

@mimi pizza is essential in pregnancy, acceptable at any time of the day too I'm going to try and book a scan for next week.

@RU I remember from threads last year that early spotting was quite common. One of the women who had bled went for an early scan only to find her pregnancy had started off as twins. Another had a bleed and assumed it was AF and was shocked to find the following month that she was about 8 weeks pg. I know brown blood can be old from implantation, not sure about red. Lots of explanations though and as strange as it sounds I'm glad you're feeling sick!

@hopeful lots of luck your way for a darker line today, I second buying the cheapies from any pound shop!

RU and Ruth I might be on the verge of being in the same boat as you girls. Got some serious AF IS IMMINENT! pains today and had a little bit of colour in my crazy amount of cm today ( soz TMI!) now panicking like a madman that it's happening all over again. 5 + 2 is earlier than before but I seem to have blocked out so much of my last pg that I cant remember what I did and didn't have last time. Boobs are hurting again though so maybe need to kick myself and say "it's not happening, happy thoughts!"

Gahhh everyone complains about the 2WW, what about the 12WW!!! Even more stressful

Hello all - new to Mumsnet with my first BFP! Online calculator has me due 5th April 2018, but I guess that's only a rough guide and I'll need to wait for a scan to know for sure? Whole new and exciting world for me :-)
