Yes! Scan pictures please! I'm going to wait until my 12 week scan, so you have to let me see all of yours so I can have the vicarious enjoyment of seeing little embryos and imagining mine! On the way to the hen do this morning, and typically this is the first morning I'm feeling sick! Sure the bride is going to guess. If I really hope she doesn't as I want this weekend to be all about her!

Good luck with all your early scans I can't wait to see your pictures! We're telling the immediate family today, it's DC2 but I'm still nervous!

Can I slide on in here too? I took a test a couple of hours ago which turned out to be positive! Expected but not expected, I guess. Looks like a due date of about April 30th, which is what DC1's due date was in 2014.
Obviously we haven't told anyone yet, but I needed to get it out somewhere! Has anyone set up a Facebook group or are we sticking to this thread for now?

Welcome newbies! I can't believe due dates are at end of April already!

Anyone else having baby brain issues and clumsiness? I've been doing really really stupid things lately. Sat at work with pen and paper and sat staring at it for a good 15 minutes with a blank brain. Have burnt almost everything I've cooked in the oven. Knocked a drink over with my handbag 2 seconds after putting it down and a number of silly little things. Proper face palm moments!

@MrsDneedsaB I'm so glad you said that! I've been all over the place and today I thought "Does baby brain start this early? 'cause this isn't like me!"

My mum said it's due to the tiredness but I feel like this is more than just being tired

@MrsD I'm so with you there! It takes me about half an hour to leave the house as I have to pop back upstairs about 3 times for things I've forgotten!

Also I've told a couple of close friends now, and I'm so worried about accidentally openly talking about being pregnant to someone else, like colleagues! Baby brain may let the cat out of the bag!

I spent the day with my mum and dad today...I wasn't planning on telling them until 12 wk scan but my mum knew something was up after about 10 minutes! Everyone was so happy (hugging, tears...) and it freaked me out a bit because I suddenly felt this massive weight of responsibility. I'm only 5 weeks, what if something goes wrong? Anyway I was freaked out enough to drive to Asda at 9:30pm to buy (yet another) pregnancy test. Just did it...the pregnancy line is darker than the control line what a waste of £8.50...

@Bumpkin21 I'm exactly the same! I nearly accidentally blurted it out to my SIL earlier. I swear I can feel baby brain kicking in already

@polliver I totally get it! I can't handle everyone in full on celebration mode because I'm still so nervous!

Hey all, can I join? I am 5 weeks today, due 27th of April and these were my positives at 11dpo. So I've known for nearly 2 weeks and it still doesn't feel real! This is my first pregnancy.

I haven't read through the whole thread but looking forward to seeing some scan pics! I would quite like to go for an early scan to make sure everything is ok.

@polliver I found out at 12dpo and the whole family knew by 17dpo. I'd rather have the support if something does go wrong! Get the internet cheapy tests, they're great for recurrent testing! I've rather enjoyed watching my line get progressively darker!

@ifeelfloopy congratulations! You're due 3 days after me :D I didnt get even a hint of a line at 11dpo, you lucky duck!

Lots of you asking about early scan pics - here is my little bean! All in top right, the biggest part is yolk sac and the solid white bit above is the head! 😍

Thank you MissYeti and congrats to you too . Based on some very mild symptoms I get the feeling that I implanted fairly early. And now all I'm worrying about is all going ok! I don't have much in the way of symptoms yet thankfully but that sort of makes me nervous!

@MissYeti - that's how I've felt about telling people. Quite a few know now but all people I would talk to if it went wrong. We'd been TTC for over a year and I'd been really struggling so quite a few friends knew about that so logical to tell them we'd had success!
