So sorry anban Flowers

Anban · 23/08/2017 19:42

Thanks all. Hubs is fantastic, though obv he is also sad. Need to tell my one friend who knew but haven't quite got the strength yet.

Positive is that I do want to start trying right away. Wanna get the empty out to get it over with, so we can beging ttc again!

Wishing you all lovely happy healthy pregnancies! It's been a pleasure sharing the past month with you all. :)

Polliver · 23/08/2017 20:59

@Anban I'm glad that your husband is looking after you. It's great that you are focusing on the future. I know that this might not mean much from an internet random, but I am sending you a massive, massive hug. Flowers

YorkieDorkie · 23/08/2017 21:32

Oh @Anban Sad I'm so sorry. It's great you have a positive outlook but please look after yourself over these difficult days to come Flowers

Finch82 · 23/08/2017 21:33

Finch82 · 23/08/2017 21:34

itsgoingtoofast · 23/08/2017 22:14

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I can join you all? A bit late to the party I know, but I've just about plucked up the courage!

I am 8+1 today, just had a reassurance scan and feeling ready to chat a bit more about it. I had a miscarriage in June at 8 weeks and a missed miscarriage in 2012 in between my DS and DD so been a bit apprehensive!

Going by today's measurements I'll be due on 3rd April 😊

boatrace30 · 23/08/2017 23:01

Same day as me @itsgoingtoofast

@Anban - wishing you all the best of luck. Xxx

Jenacles · 24/08/2017 07:55

Just caught up with thread after a few days. So sorry Annam, we are all thinking of you x
Welcome itsgoingtoofast Smile

RosesForBadgers · 24/08/2017 09:06

Hi everyone, can I join you too? I'm nine weeks by LMP, 8+2 by scan, and have a DD who is nearly 3. It's been a bit of a rocky road so far with early bleeds but we had a third scan last Friday and everything seems to be progressing beautifully now so I'm feeling more confident. This nausea though... 🤢

Sunshinesaz86 · 24/08/2017 10:36

anban I'm glad you've got support wishing you luck in future.

Welcome roses glad all is ok after your rocky start.
Welcome itsgoingtoofast also glad everything is ok after your early scan. It's a scary time this early pregnancy especially after experiencing losses before.

sam did you have your scan yesterday? I hope all went well? X

Sam91TRS15 · 24/08/2017 14:09

Welcome roses and itsgoing!thanks for asking sunshine, it went well yday, I will try and get the scan up later today! It looked like there was an empty sac on the scan also, but after some advise on another thread it looks like it could be a cyst - which explains all the pain I've had this whole time. The sonographer didn't say anything about it, so I will mention it to the midwife on Monday and see what she says!
I'm still at 8+2 after the scan, so EDD is still 2nd April

MrsDneedsaB · 24/08/2017 14:36

Aw Sam that's lovely, I was thinking of you yesterday! Did the black patch have an outline or anything, like the sac has quite a definite edge to it...I only say this because the black spots can also be a subchronic hemorragh which again is nothing to worry about but you may have a little bleed because of it. Just chucking in another possibility for ya Smile

I've booked a scan for Saturday lunch time as I'm getting really nervous - I'm getting to the point I did last time 🙈

Sam91TRS15 · 24/08/2017 15:10

Thanks MrsD, well I thought it looked like an empty sac - but he went to that first and looked about for a few minutes and I was really just concentrating on getting to the baby and also not trying to pee myself!! The full bladder thing is a bit of a joke...! But I will mention that to midwife - I would really like them to look at it asap to say what it is because I will freak if I have a bleed! Good luck with the scan on Saturday! I was only told the baby measured about 8 weeks last time (I had to ask) so I just went as early as I could around week 8. The wait was awful, can't imagine having to wait til 12 weeks!

Jenster17 · 24/08/2017 16:43

Welcome new ladies and congrats!

@sam Totally with you on the full bladder I had an early scan today (6+4) and thought I might let myself down when she started pressing!! I saw my little bean and a flickering heartbeat 😍

Poppyandpeaches · 24/08/2017 17:18

I also had an early scan today and we're 6w on the dot. Was absolutely desperate for the loo for about an hour beforehand and then they ended up doing an internal so I didn't need a full bladder! Anyway we have a heartbeat :) such a rollercoaster- I am so relieved on one hand and yet still so nervous that we still have 6 weeks to go before the magic 12 week mark!
Congrats @Sam and @Jenster

Toria73 · 24/08/2017 17:45

May I join you all?
I'm 5wks pregnant, so due date is 26/04. I've known for a week due to ivf blood test, but still in a bit of shock as Im not sure I though I'd get this far cos I'm an old first timer (43).

Sam91TRS15 · 24/08/2017 17:49

Congrats jenster and poppy! It's lovely to get a wee heartbeat! Luckily it's only 4 weeks til my next one! Hopefully that naughty cyst or whatever it is will be gone by then! Welcome toria! Have you been doing ivf for long?

Aardvark747 · 24/08/2017 18:06

Hello all, just sliding into the group tentatively! We had a couple of clear BFP's last week and we're very excited! First midwife appointment was this week and dating scan next Wednesday. Really interesting reading what others are experiencing. I've had plenty of feeling sick but not actually doing so, tiredness like never before and now the boobs are changing. 2nd June is the date we're working off, but we'll see what the situation is next week as I didn't have a cycle after coming off the pill. Fingers crossed - first timer!

olicat · 24/08/2017 18:29

So exciting to hear about everyone's scans! It's so weird, I feel so invested in everyone's beans despite not having met any of you. I've decided to book a scan for next weekend when I'll be exactly 7 weeks - just getting too nervous and need confirmation something's in there!!

starsshinebright · 24/08/2017 20:48

I've got another scan tomorrow, 8+2 from LMP, 8+6 from previous scan. I'm so nervous. Again!

starsshinebright · 24/08/2017 20:49

So exciting to hear about everyone else's early scans coming up! Good luck all Flowers

harrietm87 · 24/08/2017 21:42

Good news on the early scans everyone! I've got my third next thurs when I'll be 8 weeks (7 weeks today). I started to get a bit worried this afternoon as I didn't feel as tired as usual but then realised it's probably because I allowed myself a coffee today for the first time in ages!

Toria73 · 24/08/2017 22:04

@sam, this is my first cycle of ivf. I had decided that it was going to be just one & done as I knew that if I didn't try this I wouldn't be able to make peace with being childless, however I also knew how hard ivf could be, plus being just me, I don't have unlimited finances. I've had 3 wee embys implanted & got one in the freezer. 😮 Still in shock 😂
It's so great to read everyone's comments, makes me realise that I'm not just being a hypochondriac or panicking/dizzy trout 😂😂

MissYeti · 25/08/2017 09:03

Woo after being disturbed by my OH at 1am (he was shouting at his videogame as men do) I finally got a good night's sleep! Hopefully that's the end of my insomnia now Grin

Hello all newcomers! Welcome to the family! And can't wait for the news from everyone's early scans! Its so nice to have such a lovely support network!
