So glad it's not just me that's feeling the bloat! Best part of the day is getting home and undoing trouser buttons!

MrsDneedsaB · 15/08/2017 20:44

@Merowdiff that's the exact same feeling I've got!! Not necessarily tummy nausea but that feeling that I've got pressure on my oesophagus (sp?) like someone something is trapped right where my Adam's apple would be if I were a bloke lol. How weird! I'm glad it's not just me!!

Glad you're ok Fitbit, scary isn't it!

fitbitbore · 15/08/2017 21:34

@MrsDneedsaB yeh it is scary but with my last pregnancy I bled for 7 weeks from 5-12 weeks and I have a healthy dc! Hopefully
It won't be as
Much this time.

Anban · 15/08/2017 21:45

Bloat here too!

Though it might have something to do with what I ate. Had cucumber with lunch and it was so tasty I finished the whole thing and followed it down with a pack of gummy bears. Soo much bloat and gas.

Who knew the seeds in cucumbers make you fart? I didn't.

Testar0ssa · 15/08/2017 22:00

I'm so grateful for this thread-stops me feeling like I'm a total weirdo. I've got the bloating thing, the lump in throats thing, the constant sickness thing, the headache thing, the tiredness thing.... had none of it with my other pregnancy. I didn't realise how lucky I was!

My first was super late so am not putting any store by due dates, but high five to Yorkie anywaySmile

Glad the bleeding seems to have stopped MrsD.

Good luck folks x

Morning ladies, do you mind if I join? Got my BFP this morning and due date is currently 28th April!!!

FairfaxAikman · 16/08/2017 07:04

Hi all. I've got a due date of April 20.

I've done multiple tests because despite getting a BFP on CD 30, I still don't have any symptoms other than sore-ish boobs (which I get before AF) and AF-like cramps so I can't get it out of my head that it's just AF coming.

Lines are definitely getting stronger though.

Congratulations to new joiners who have just got their BFPs. There is also a secret Facebook you can join when you feel ready. Just message LMPD. I'm posting on both (I like the anonymity of this thread).

Fairfax I have lots of symptoms but it's been a week and a half since I got my BFP and I keep thinking maybe it was a dream or something. I bought a cheap pack of two pregnancy tests yesterday so I could see that double line again but it was a duff packet and neither of them worked. In desperation I've just weed on my last OPK-they show up you have very high LH when your pregnant. How desperate is that though? I have some sort of compulsion for weeing on sticks now! Confused

Stonesourfangirl · 16/08/2017 07:29

@merowdiff thanks for the info about that spray, I'm def going to get some. Feeling sick all day every day so far and willing to try anything

NickMyLipple · 16/08/2017 07:33

Finch I bought more sticks too including a snazzypants digital clear blue one - I keep telling myself to stop wasting money on them - at the moment my bean is sticky so the test will be positive. If I have any bleeding, I will call EPU and go from there. Not waste £12 weeing on sticks!!!

In other news, I've started an Amazon baby wishlist. Yes, I'm getting a bit carried away but it's so much fun!

MrsDneedsaB · 16/08/2017 08:25

Ooh me too Nick! Although I started it last year just before my MMC but have been clearing it out and adding more up to date stuff. Look at the Aden & Anais blankets and muslins - so adorable!

The further along you get the longer it takes for your negatives to appear, I had bleeding and went to EPU, they were only going to do a test if the scan showed no pregnancy. But yes you still spend a fortune on sticks 😂 I have a drawer full of positive tests in the bathroom that I occasionally look at to tell me it's all real! I guess I need to throw them away now I have a scan picture lol

olicat · 16/08/2017 08:32

Fairfax due date buddies! I've had the same AD style cramping feeling on and off since before I knew I was pregnant up until now. Made me a bit uneasy but I do think it's fairly normal, as long as not severe pain.

olicat · 16/08/2017 08:32

AF style cramping even!

cottagerose · 16/08/2017 08:55

I am 5 weeks and having little pains on my right side. Have always had bad period and ovulation pains on this side and this just feels the same. It's not severe just a bit annoying. Otherwise I feel fine. Am a bit paranoid it's an ectopic. I otherwise feel fine but keep waking up ridiculously early,

FairfaxAikman · 16/08/2017 09:17

Unnerving ain't it Oli?

I have managed to pull my stomach muscles getting off the sofa as well - which was worrying

Poppyandpeaches · 16/08/2017 09:18

@cottagerose I have had the same and was also paranoid! Seems to be settling down now. Honestly I just want the next 7 weeks to be over so I can get to that 12 week scan and stop panicking!

FairfaxAikman · 16/08/2017 09:19

I'm also waking up early cottage -5.30am! Luckily I am on holiday (from work, but not away) so can fit in an extra nap

Sam91TRS15 · 16/08/2017 09:52

olicat, I've had the same cramps (or constant dull ache) since before my BFP too. It's not overly sore unless I stretch but on my emotional days it really upsets me just because how constant it is. It doesn't even come and go and no signs of going and I'm 7+2 today.
And tiredness I am struggling with but I think it is more my banshee-screaming DD who refuses to sleep more than the pregnancy Sad

olicat · 16/08/2017 13:25

Yeah on the one hand it feels like a symptom so reassuring, but too much like you're actually coming on so equally not at all!

I have a question - I'm having my initial gp appointment tomorrow where I assume they'll either ask me to self refer or will refer me to hospital. I don't want to use my local hospital as it failed it's last cqc inspection and reviews of the maternity services are pretty bad. I'd prefer to go to another hospital that's only a short drive away but wondering if they'll let me do that as it's technically in a different borough. Am in London so wondering if anyone else has experience of successfully being referred to not their most local hospital? I suspect the answer is just to go along tomorrow and ask 😂

fitbitbore · 16/08/2017 14:04

@olicat

Last time I was give the choice of two different hospitals which were in two different counties and different trusts. I lived in between the two.

Jenster17 · 16/08/2017 14:16

@olicat I'm in London too & had first GP appt on Tuesday. He asked me where I'd like to be referred - should be totally your choice!

I can't stop eating today - really craving bad things like crisps Blush

boatrace30 · 16/08/2017 14:33

I second that @olicat , not in London but have the choice of four different hospitals all in different counties!

I had my early scan today. 7w+1 and a healthy little heartbeat 😍 Xx

lulupopsted · 16/08/2017 14:46

Ekks nearly threw up in Sainsbury's earlier! Might have to my shopping online for the next few weeks!

Still umming and errring about a early scan. Or just to wait for the 12 weeks one.

Poppyandpeaches · 16/08/2017 15:08

@boatrace30 congratulations! I've booked mine for 8+2... thought I would do it half way between finding out and 12 week scan but the wait is killing me! Doing a test every week...

Jenster17 · 16/08/2017 15:15

Do we have option for early scan then? I thought we had to wait for 12 weeks?
