Wow nick that's ridiculous, I'm lucky that my GP is open til 8pm as it's a medical centre but my old gp used to close at 4:30 even when the doctors turn up late and they're over running by 45 mins. Little village - overpaid knobhead GPs.

Welcome soci don't worry, we all are going through those mixed feelings. I still don't want to get excited in case I jinx it! Congrats on your bfp!

Anyone else feel like they're going to get a hernia if they cough or sneeze?! Christ!

Jenster17 · 15/08/2017 12:09

@MrsDneedsaB Yes me too re sneezing!!! Super painful every time

MrsDneedsaB · 15/08/2017 16:04

I don't want to jinx myself but I think possibly maybe that I've finally stopped bleeding/ spotting! Yay! Only taken 11 days of worrying.

Soz for tmi but I passed a red clot last night and it definitely pretty much stopped today, that must've been the cause of my spotting.
Soz for posting it on here but I can't tell DH cos he gets all creeped out by stuff like that - lord knows what he will be like when the baby is here, I think I may chuck him in the deep end with the first nappy mwahahahahaha

Good news @MrsDneedsaB and welcome to all the new joiners

Has anyone else got afternoon/evening sickness? I wake up absolutely full of energy but by about 3ish I'm feeling really tired and nauseous with heart burn. Can't manage to eat in the evenings either, although that's not a bad thing!

MrsDneedsaB · 15/08/2017 16:16

I've been getting the sickness around 10:30am....then it sticks around til lunchtime, food helps it go away and then at 3pm it comes back again until dinner

Eating takes the edge off of it but I am not ravenous like I was a couple weeks ago, a constant nauseous feeling in the back of your throat makes you less inclined to eat!

You're lucky about the energy in the mornings! I've been yawning all day today lol my work mates are surely going to cotton on soon, that with my eleventy million trips to the toilet

pickle162 · 15/08/2017 16:25

Well I seem to have "morning" sickness morning, noon and night. Feel so nauseous all the time. Bread and bananas (not together) seem to help but have hardly anything in the house now. Not looking forward to another 6 or so weeks of this. Anyone found some good foods to help?

Thelostsock · 15/08/2017 16:26

Yes I'm exactly the same with food helping and also so pleased I'm not eating everything in sight like I was a few weeks ago!

I've not really had any increase in toilet trips during the day but always have to get up in the night between 4-5 which I've never had before

So paranoid, every time a symptom goes away or something new happens I worry! I didn't really have any symptoms yesterday and was really concerned, but then cried in the supermarket car park because I couldn't park properly Grin so I think the hormones are still surging around!!!

YorkieDorkie · 15/08/2017 16:28

TestarOssa due date buddies! I'm 7 weeks today too. Wink

YorkieDorkie · 15/08/2017 16:29

Aw it was yesterday... I'm a day behind Grin

YorkieDorkie · 15/08/2017 16:32

Is there a link to the FB group? I use the app and I don't know how to message.

Jenster17 · 15/08/2017 16:57

@Thelostsock snap with the afternoon evening sickness. I feel sick in the morning until I eat and then it goes away until afternoon/evening. I am finding peppermint tea helps a bit

Jenster17 · 15/08/2017 17:12

Also is anyone else massively bloated? I'm 5+2 today and feeling like a whale

olicat · 15/08/2017 17:16

I feel the same about the sneezing! Have to gear up for it each time as if it's a major event. I also CANNOT POO. I know it's quite common but no less annoying, is also making me look way more pregnant than I want to look at work! Which is not at all as it's so early.

Poppyandpeaches · 15/08/2017 17:54

@MrsDneedsaB keeping my fingers crossed for you! I had bleeding between 4 and 8 weeks last time and dreading it happening this time too!

fitbitbore · 15/08/2017 18:25

Been having a bit of dark brown spotting so thought the worst but Had a scan today put me at 7 weeks 1 day. Hopefully the spotting will clear up soon!

pickle162 · 15/08/2017 18:39

@Jenster17 week 5 I had big big bloating, this week just horrid nausea so belly is flatter again

Jenster17 · 15/08/2017 19:07

How many weeks are you now @pickle162 ? Sorry to hear your nausea is bad Confused

pickle162 · 15/08/2017 19:10

I'm only 6weeks+2 so not much further ahead. Trying to look on the positives that morning sickness is a sign of a healthy pregnancy BUT very difficult especially as I feel sick over night too 😫oh well, will be worth it for a happy healthy baby

Soci · 15/08/2017 19:13

I'm feeling bloated and my belly seems to be "toughening" already, or maybe it's just because of the bloating, I don't know.

Thelostsock · 15/08/2017 19:28

I'm pretty bloated too, definitely enough for lots of work clothes to be banished for a while!

pinkie87 · 15/08/2017 19:49

I'm only about 4 1/2 or 5 weeks and have no symptoms. Just tired. But I have a toddler so I'm always tired!! But I had no symptoms last time really so trying not to get too worried!

OuiMerci · 15/08/2017 19:52

@fitbitbore glad to hear everything is ok. This early pregnancy is a tough time. Take it easy!

olicat · 15/08/2017 20:17

Yeah fitbit and mrsd - glad things seem ok! Feels such a long and nervy wait. Fingers crossed for you.

Merowdiff · 15/08/2017 20:34

Hello all, agree with all day sickness. Starts about 2 hours after I wake up, goes off with a couple of Garibaldi biscuits or marmite toast then mid afternoon feel like utter shite. It's not real nausea mostly, it's where my esophagus isn't keeping food down so it feels like it's all way up in my throat? Yuk.
I've found the smell of citrus helps and there's a spray I bought in Holland and Barrett before I was pg by Beauty Kitchen called triple action body mist. It has fennel, grapefruit, lemongrass and spearmint and is WONDERFUL for banishing queasy feelings.
Also Sainsbury's do their own lemonade (not the clear stuff, the slightly posher 'proper' stuff) and that's been a real life saver as I don't feel much like eating or drinking atm!
Xxx

Merowdiff · 15/08/2017 20:38

Pic of my miracle mist in case it helps anyone xxx
