Due mid April .. 4th child 🙈 felt bloated all this week and mild crampy feelings. Oh and boobs have grown already !

Papillion86 · 11/08/2017 13:20

Wow so many posts to catch up on since my first post. Sorry to those who are going through tough times, thinking of you all.

And congratulations to those who've got their BFPs.
So finally home and got my mind around being pregnant, couldn't actually say it for the first two days haha.
Now a worried paranoid mess, to the extent my heart rate in my Fitbit dropped one bpm and I'm assuming the worst Confused how do people cope with the worry over 9 months?!
Now 4w 4d and counting down til 31st march for first MW appointment. Would anyone recommend getting early scans at 6/7 weeks or just waiting til 12 weeks?
Xxx

Afternoon ladies, how's everyone doing today?

We saw our little bean/blob this morning. I was being fully prepped by the sonographer about how "I may not see anything, there is a high chance that it could be that you either aren't as far along as you think or something else..." in other words, you may have miscarried so be prepared!

Then two seconds later "oh! I can see everything! That I was not expecting! Sac - present. Yolk - present. Embryo - present. Heartbeat - look at it go!" oh my god the relief!!!

My little bean has a heartbeat and we saw it flickering away ❤️

Scan is a bit dodge but the scanning machine is a bit old I think as there was no sound or she couldn't tell me what the heart rate even was - all I know is it's good and strong for bang on 6 weeks

OuiMerci · 11/08/2017 18:09

Great news @MrsDneedsaB! Very chuffed for you!

OuiMerci · 11/08/2017 18:10

Had my first preggo nap today as DH was working from home. The tiredness really set in today and I'm only 4w+4!

Papillion86 · 11/08/2017 18:25

That's fantastic @MrsDneedsaB!! Very happy for you
@OuiMerci oh my god I am so jealous, am 4+4 and nearly fell asleep at work! Looking forward to the weekend to nap

OuiMerci · 11/08/2017 18:44

@Papillion86 ahh, due date buddy!

It's tough staying awake! Bet you're dying to just put your head on your desk!

I have two DDs already so it was lovely to just get a wee bit of peace Grin

Papillion86 · 11/08/2017 19:04

@OuiMerci I nearly did at one point!

How are you feeling other than that? It's my first so now worrying about everything!

OuiMerci · 11/08/2017 19:27

Not too bad, thanks! Sore boobs and a wee touch of nausea but nothing major.

I was quite sick with DD1 and dairy made me puke even though I'm normally fine with it. DD2 was a really easy pregnancy so I'm hoping for more of that!

Merowdiff · 11/08/2017 22:52

MrsD yay, so pleased! Been thinking of you today. 🤗 Xx

LPMD · 11/08/2017 23:05

Whymustyoubringinthebirds · 12/08/2017 06:57

@pinkie me too! I only took a test because it was our first cycle so I thought just go for it - wasn't expecting a positive!!

Jenacles · 12/08/2017 08:16

Morning everyone. Congratulations @whymustyou and @pinkie.

Peckhamite · 12/08/2017 08:43

This still feels so surreal but I also got a positive result yesterday after having complete a first round of ivf. Think I am 4+4 and pregnant for the first time. Eep!

lulupopsted · 12/08/2017 09:08

update from yesterday, I ended up going to the docs , what I thought was just early pregnancy flu like symptoms turns out is a virus, Iv been given antibiotics to take if it gets worse! 12 hours at work today ekk see you on the other side!
Oh and if you tell the receptionist your pregnant they seem to find you a appointment! Usually it's 'can you come in 3 weeks from today'

Finch82 · 12/08/2017 10:01

Congratulations to all those who just got their BFP! Pinki87 that is definitely a positive!!!

Lulupopsted poor you! Hope you feel better soon. Can't you take some sick days off work? I feel very lucky as I'm a teacher on my Summer holidays at the mo. Dreading going back in September!

LMPD I'm about to PM you with my email address so you can invite me to the FB group.

Hope everyone has a nice day and for all of you going through tricky times, hope your little beans stick fast!

Sunshinesaz86 · 12/08/2017 10:25

That's great news mrsd so pleased for you.

ouimerci I've had a few pregnancy naps already 🙈😂 two days ago I went to bed at 8.50pm! I hit a wall.

mimi I've been waking up hungrier than normal but only the last couple of days.

Congrats and welcome why pinkie and peck lovely news for you all 😊.

Sorry your feeling ropey lulu I hope u survive your shift and start feels by brighter soon.

I told my best friend I was pg she's not long had a mc after trying for a while, she was ok about it and I'm glad it's done now.

I'm sure with DS and my last pg I was waking to pee in the night by now, but I'm not yet? Making me nervous (which is silly I know) hoping my bladder is just stretched or it's just too early at 6 weeks? Had a fair few heavy/gaggy moments too!

Hope everyone has a good weekend. X

LPMD · 12/08/2017 10:46

Anyone who has sent me a DM with their email has now been invited. Please re-prompt in case I've missed you by accident.

Gosh @Lulu, I hope you feel better, you must feel terrible atm. I hope you recover very quickly.

@Sunshinesaz86, I had to do the same thing and it was horrible, I felt so bad. But, she was also ok with it and she's trying again. Maybe our pregnancies will inspire our friends to keep trying and not give up?

Congratulations to everyone! I'm glad to be sharing these great moments with you all :-) xx

Speechiebaby · 12/08/2017 12:12

Hi girls! I've not posted in a while but sending lots of hugs to the ladies in uncertain times its so scary! Congrats also to all the new mummies to be! I've had a scary week with brown spotting and some dark red blood and was freakin out due to last time. Rang the bep clinic as was booked in for 2 weeks time due to history and they seen me on Wednesday. Absolutely terrified but we seen little bear and a heartbeat!!!! So happy!! I had to monitor spotting over the next two weeks but the sonographer said everything was fine! Feeling sick as a dog but its reassuring and nice to feel like that!! I can always eat and have managed a sip of banana milkshake today! Hormones are crazy and was sobbing i was laughing that hard at the inbetweeners last night. Feel sorry for DH though for been such a nutter this week! How is everyone feeling today? Im 6 weeks 5 days and still not told anyone its bloody killing me!! People in my family are away so can't until they get back. Hate not been able to moan about feeling sick lol!! Grin

batfish · 12/08/2017 12:24

Hi all, congratulations on your pregnancies.

I got a BFP yesterday (after a night out drinking, oooops) but feeling very cautious as I was pregnant at the beginning of this year and we made the very heartbreaking decision to terminate after many tests proved that our baby had Down Syndrome. It really killed us and we are terrified of the same happening again. So I'm keeping everything crossed that we are lucky this time round. I have a little boy aged 22 months already.

Might join the Facebook group if I test again in a few days and get a darker line!
