How is everyone feeling? I only have dizziness occasionally but I really don't feel pregnant. Anyone plan on sharing their news yet? I honestly want to keep it to ourselves as long as I can. Just one friend knows

Iv had to tell a few people I work with, I'm self employed and have had a have a few people be a back up for me and join me on some jobs this month (cover me if I have to go be sick!) Iv told a two close friends too, the type of friends you tell everything too!

Not sure when to tell. Probably will tell family in a few weeks. It would be nice to have it as 'our secret' for a while but dp's family aren't ones for keeping stuff private.

Bit of nausea if I drink too quickly. Was hyper alert last night sitting upright every time dp got up. Out of breath easily. I'm sure none of this happened this early last time.

I am so excited that I want to tell everyone! I told DP I wanted to tell my best friend (which I have done) and she's very excited for me which is lovely :)

We're not planning on telling anyone else for a few weeks!

Just back from our scan, measuring 6+5 and could see the heart beat. Was really lovely! EDD March 31st so I'll stick around if that's ok 🤗

I'm 6+1 according to early scan yesterday! Due date of the 4th April. This is my 8th pregnancy after 7 miscarriages so keeping my fingers crossed.

How much is it for a private early scan?

@mimilicious We've told a few people (mum's and a couple of close friends) but we've just done it on the basis of who we would reach out to for support if I miscarried.

I still feel sick as a parrot nearly all the time. Currently syn valuing ginger biscuits. I can recommend Nairns' Oat and Stem ginger gluten free biscuit bakes.

Oh, and I got up in the night about 2/3 times for a wee.

Yea I went for a private scan, mainly because my LMP was 9 weeks ago and I know I didn't ovulate until later as it was first since DS. Will be good to tell GP as they'll think I'm further on. It was 99 euro, I'm in Ireland. Baby was visible from abdominal scan but she said it would be clearer from internal which was surprisingly ok.

@starshinebright what a lovely set of photos. Sounds like you've been through such a tough time, you deserve this so much.

@Finch82 the local private place to us is £50 for an early scan but I've seen other places charge around £100.

I think I'll book one for around 8 weeks. I had a mmc a few years ago and the early scan just puts me a bit more at ease.

Lovely scan pics girls. Can't wait for a scan! Had to push my scan back a week because I found out at my midwife appointment I counted day 1 as 1+0, so rather than being 7+3 I'm only 6+3 clearly baby brain is here already.. Luckily an early up here is only £39 just now! So will maybe end up having a couple if things go well this time!

Fingers crossed stars, what an ordeal you've been through. I really hope this is the one for you. I hope the scan was some reassurance for you.

Think we'll book a private scan for about 8 weeks.

My best friend is twenty weeks with her first. I'm bursting to tell her, but she had several miscarriages before this one so it doesn't seem fair to say until twelve weeks. She sent me her first bump pic today and I nearly bawled.

I was having some nausea but that's largely died away. Trying not to worry about that. My boobs are killing me and I'm covered in spots, and hunger is Bad. We're away for a couple of days and I just feel gross - like I've shot up a couple of sizes in two days. Just feel gross and bloated.

Well it's been confirmed that I'm miscarrying. Had a scan and blood test today. I'm ok, just glad to know and we can move on.
