Does anyone else not feel pregnant??? Apart from feeling tired and food aversions I swear I feel completely normal.

FuzzyOwl · 06/08/2017 11:54

Hello and welcome Charmander90. I also had a miscarriage in May and have a nine month old. Hopefully all will go fine for both of us this time.

itsascottishbaby · 06/08/2017 12:38

@fitbitbore Don't feel pregnant at all! But I'm starting to react to smells (I filled up my car with petrol yesterday and wanted to retch, this never normally happens). I think it's still early days for me to develop any tea symptoms.

Babydreaming · 06/08/2017 13:36

I'm out :( Turn out for me the clear blue tests did mean something! I started bleeding heavily today.

It was an unplanned pregnancy that I wasn't ready for emotionally or physically so although I am upset I'm accepting that it wasn't the right time! Going to be much more strict with contraception now til my little one is a bit older!

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancies - hope they're all uneventful!

LivLemler · 06/08/2017 14:53

Oh Babydreaming, I'm so sorry to read that. Take care of yourself Flowers

Bumpkin21 · 06/08/2017 17:19

@babydreaming - sorry to hear that, hope you're ok.

@MrsD - the bleeding was just light spotting, but because I also had some pains (just ligament pain) my GP referred me for a scan. With any bleeding I would speak to your GP or midwife just to get checked out but it's really common apparently, and quite normal, especially in 1st trimester.

Charmander90 · 06/08/2017 18:06

@FuzzyOwl Thank you, I'm keeping everything crossed that it works out this time. Although can't say I'm looking forward to being pregnant again. My first was horrendous. Had HG right up until the day I had her from pretty much conception. Morning Sickness hasn't been so bad this time but still got it playing in the back of mind. It's nice to know someone's in the same situation!

FuzzyOwl · 06/08/2017 18:37

Babydreaming Flowers be gentle to yourself.

Hope you don't get HG again this time Charmander90.

Sunshinesaz86 · 06/08/2017 18:53

Love the scan pic bumpkin

Welcome and congrats squirrel & ouimerci

Thanks liv we stay positive he's doing well at the moment his treatment won't finish until early 2020 he'll be nearly 5 so we don't want to put baby no2 on hold that long. I think it'll be good for us all round including him as he loves other children.

Sorry to hear your feeling ropey mrsd I hope your family event went ok.

I'll keep everything crossed for you stones it's such a worrying time. But heartbeat is positive. I hope your next scan date comes round quick for you.

So sorry to hear that baby take care of yourself. 😢

I haven't got many symptoms yet Fitbit apart from bloat. I think by 6/7 weeks they definitely ramp up a bit.

Welcome charmander another here hoping for a successful pregnancy after MMC in Feb found out at 12 week scan. Such a long wait.

I hope everyone has had an ok weekend?

pickle162 · 06/08/2017 18:55

Hi all,

Please can I join? I had iui in July and got bfp this week :) I had hcg injections after the iui to help lengthen luteal phase so had to wait longer so Injection out of system
I've got a viability scan on 25th August as part of the care package but not sure I can stop testing (won't keep using frer's as I don't have endless money 😂) until I have this. Don't really have many symptoms except twinges and light cramps in abdo/pelvis-just about starting to get sore boobs.
Can't quite belief it. This was only my second try of iui so feel very lucky even just to get this far.
Would be due 9th April if all goes ok and I have a sticky bean
x

Wow congrats pickle that's great line progression!

crispydumpling · 07/08/2017 07:14

I'm so sorry babydreaming 😕 Hope you're ok xxx

Stonesourfangirl · 07/08/2017 12:01

Babydreaming I'm so sorry to hear that. Hope you are ok.
I've caught a sickness bug from my 18month old and have been feeling horrific for the past 3 days. Hoping to get over the bug asap but not sure where the bug ends and morning sickness will start.
Hope everyone else is ok.

OuiMerci · 07/08/2017 12:23

Anyone else experiencing a bit of pregnancy rage? I just totally lost my shit this morning at our city farm. My older DD was being a bit whingey and my younger DD was being a bit shouty, which isn't that unusual. It started to pour with rain which wasn't forecast and the cafe was closed despite a huge "open" sign.

I'm normally fairly laid back, but I got the red mist. DD2 yelled one more "NO" and I dumped her in her buggy and marched the pair of them out. I yelled at the pair of them and in my ranting I took a wrong turn along the wrong side of a dual carriageway and had to walk for ages to cross over and then ages back the way.

My poor DD1 started saying she was sorry and I ended up an emotional mess. We're all now in the car, being extra nice to each other but I'd forgotten The Rage was a thing Blush.

Hope everyone else is having a good day!

Thelostsock · 07/08/2017 13:35

@OuiMerci I didn't know that was a thing but it explains so much! I had to send myself off on a walk this weekend for fear of murdering my MIL

MrsDneedsaB · 07/08/2017 13:38

Babydreaming I'm so sorry Flowers

Currently waiting the excruciating wait for my reassurance scan on Friday morning. The bleeding died down on Friday afternoon and was just brown spotting this weekend but this morning at 11am I've had another rush of bright red blood. Hate not knowing what's happening.

Ouimerci I also have the rage, was in a meeting this morning and was very short and snappy with my answers. Not in the mood to put up with rubbish obviously lol!

OuiMerci · 07/08/2017 13:43

@MrsDneedsaB @Thelostsock I know, right? You're supposed to be the epitome of serenity when you're pregnant, but the reality is closer to being a bubbling volcano just waiting to erupt. I think it went after the first trimester though so fingers crossed!

OuiMerci · 07/08/2017 13:46

@MrsDneedsaB that's really tough. The waiting is the worst bit. I really hope you get some answers on Friday.

I know when I had my MC, there was no mistaking it. It wasn't a stop/start thing. Thinking of you.

Thanks @OuiMerci with my MMC I had brown spotting for 3 days prior but by that time I'd already had a private early scan and knew I was going to miscarry.

Hoping this time it's different but you never know until it happens Sad

Finch82 · 07/08/2017 13:54

Hello everyone

May I join? I just got my BFP yesterday. I can't believe it. First pregnancy. I'm 35 and had an ovary removed last year. I came off the pill (Cerazette) when I got my last period right at the end of June, just before I got married. We got back from honeymoon Friday night and I knew I felt funny. Cheap POAS gave such a faint line that morning I didn't even notice it until later on in the day when it had become a more noticeable pink line. Ordered some First Response and Clear Blue Digital and hey presto, I'm 2-3 weeks since conception. Full on honeymoon baby!

I didn't expect it to happen so soon! Me and DH are both elated but a bit shell shocked. I'm experiencing bad abdominal cramps and nausea. Keep thinking I'm MCing but looked up cramps and it's apparently normal. No food aversions yet but we forgot to through out some coriander In a glass of water and it went slimey while we were away and I dry heaved like hell throwing it out!

Congrats to everyone!

bondbaby · 07/08/2017 15:45

Hi all, I'd like to join please, just so I've got someone other than my partner to talk to - keeping it a secret is much harder than I thought it would be!! I think I'm 5 weeks-ish so due around 11th April, all being well. This is our first baby, and at 38, I was worried that I'd left it too late so it was a lovely surprise! No real symptoms yet other than a horrific uti which cost me a midnight trip to the out of hours doc on Saturday. Thankfully I've got some baby-friendly antibiotics which seem to be doing the trick! Hope that's not a sign of things to come!

LivLemler · 07/08/2017 16:37

It is hard keeping it a secret, isn't it bondbaby. I'm due the day after you and reckon we'll have had the first scan etc by early Oct and be telling people then. That seems like an age away!

OuiMerci · 07/08/2017 16:56

Hi @bondbaby and @Finch82 :)

I self-referred to the midwife today and have my booking-in appointment and 12-week scan dates already! I'm only 4w today!

Sam91TRS15 · 07/08/2017 16:58

I'm so sorry babydreaming, look after yourself xx and mrsd I have e everything crossed for you xx hi to all the new girls! I have my private scan booked for the 17th and it can't come quick enough midwife appointment is Tuesday but they don't even check your actually preggo at that appointment... I have been starting to get a little nausea, and boobs are so sore, so hopefully good signs this time round
