Very sorry to read that MrsD, get yourself checked out just in case. Take care of yourself Flowers

MrsDneedsaB · 04/08/2017 16:29

Thanks for all your support ladies, I called my local EPU and they were so helpful. They've booked me in for a scan next Friday without the need for referral! This is because a scan before 6 weeks wouldn't tell them if it was successful or not?

She told me to try not to worry myself too much, as the bleeding has now subsided just to keep an eye on it. I should be thankful there were no immediate clots.

It's a glimmer of hope but I guess I'm not out of it yet Star

Babydreaming · 04/08/2017 16:41

Mrs D I'm so sorry, that must have been really scary! Fingers crossed for next week. This waiting game is really hard. I'm doing another CB weeks tester tomorrow and convinced myself it will have gone down to 1-2! We shall see.

Stonesourfangirl · 04/08/2017 16:52

Keeping everything crossed for next week MrsD. I'm having a reassurance scan tomorrow as I'm still not convinced all is well. Pregnancy plays havoc with your nerves xx

Sam91TRS15 · 04/08/2017 17:36

I'm so sorry MrsD, fingers crossed for you for next week xx I have been feeling quite positive so far but today the nerves and anxiety have kicked in now. I never realised before how scary pregnancy is

MrsDneedsaB · 04/08/2017 18:01

It's very scary, like I said in an earlier post - everyone is super anxious about the 2WW but no one even mentions the fear, anxiety, pressure and dread that fills you until your 12 week scan. Especially if you've experienced a mc before!

Staying calm is incredibly difficult x

Sunshinesaz86 · 04/08/2017 18:30

So sorry to hear about your bleed mrsd how very worrying for you. I do hope everything is all as it should be when you get scanned next week. Lots of love to you.

Sorry to you all having to juggle your added health problems in the midst of pregnancy it can't be easy.

Myself and DP had to agree that I will hold off on administering my DS's oral chemotherapy for until we are next at specialist centre. Whilst we did ask last time they just said it should be ok be careful but that pregnancy ended in MMC. This particular chemo you have to wear gloves and wash your hands after etc and is described as 'potent' so in my eyes it's not worth risking if DP can do it instead.

Not many symptoms for me yet, bit of nausea, not weeing more than I thought I'd be yet either. 5 weeks today so hopefully just still early oh and tired and bloat I do have. X

Mimilicious013 · 04/08/2017 18:31

Glad the bleeding has subsided mrsd and hope it stays away. Take it easy and rest up if you can. Thinking of you Flowers

Bumpkin21 · 04/08/2017 18:49

Please may I join as a late comer?
I thought I was 6+2 but had early scan today because of some bleeding and they said I'm 5+3, so due April 3rd, first bubba.

Hi @Bumpkin21 welcome!

What a cute little scan Flowers

I've just had a bleed today, can I ask about yours? Hoping it will settle my nerves!!

MrsDneedsaB · 04/08/2017 19:12

If you don't mind that is! Sorry, where are my manners Blush

fitbitbore · 04/08/2017 19:19

Just to say hi and I'm in the club approx 6 weeks. Had an early scan cos of previous issues.

And Mrs d I bled with with last one for 7 weeks quite heavy at times and now have a healthy child. Blood doesn't always mean the worst.

MrsDneedsaB · 04/08/2017 19:40

Thanks Fitbitbore that's reassuring but at the same time sucks that you had to go through that, I would've been so stressed!

Congrats on your bfp Smile

Squirrel17 · 04/08/2017 22:55

Late arrival here too, found out yesterday I'm expecting my second child I'm between 4-6 weeks and already have a one year old and a full time job that I love! Quite scared right now!

OuiMerci · 05/08/2017 09:39

Morning all!

Congratulations on everyone's BFPs so far! Exciting times!

I got mine this morning so I think I'm about 3w+5. I've got two DDs already (3 and 1) so this will just add to the craziness!

itsascottishbaby · 05/08/2017 10:50

Why did I have to do a clearblue this morning? I'm 5 weeks today so was expecting it to say 3+ but it came back 2-3 weeks, I know it doesn't mean anything but now I'm all stressed. Aargh.

Babydreaming · 05/08/2017 11:05

Scottish I'm in the same situation!! I wish I'd never find one. I'm anywhere from 5w2d-5w5d and my clearbluesays 2-3 weeks still. I know it's not 100% accurate but really plays mind games with you!

NObody else try the weeks indicator! It's a an expensive way to drive yourself crazy!

LivLemler · 05/08/2017 11:11

I don't think they're very reliable anyway - isn't every woman's hormonal level different anyway? I've done a few FRs and just been happy that the line has gotten darker. Maybe try that?

Welcome to all the newbies!

And sympathies to those with long term conditions, that sucks. Glad some of you are feeling better, hope none of you suffer too badly.

LivLemler · 05/08/2017 11:17

sunshine sounds like you guys are going through an awful time. I hope your boy is doing well, and that the baby is something positive for you all to focus on.

MrsDneedsaB · 05/08/2017 11:21

2-3 weeks on clearblue is perfectly normal for just being 5 weeks.

I'd love to know how it "calculates" your week, other then you knowing your LMP and poss O date it's not really exact as many women progress through early pregnancy so differently. Some can be slow on the hormones whilst others sky rocket and think they're further along then they are.

Try to relax ladies - at least you're still getting positives Grin

The morning sickness has hit me today, I feel horrendous, at least I hope it's morning sickness. Still bleeding a tiny amount so resting for that is a good excuse for me to do nothing today whilst I feel so bleurgh!! Got DH's aunty's 80th bday party/gathering tomorrow, I hope I feel better because a 2hr drive to Sussex to meet nosey family members doesn't seem very appealing right now.

FuzzyOwl · 05/08/2017 11:29

Lovely scan picture Bumpkin.

I'm another one who got stressed by the Clearblue predictor test and now recommend staying well away from them.

Stonesourfangirl · 05/08/2017 15:37

Hello everyone!
Well I had my reassurance scan today. Not hugely reassuring to be honest, I thought o was 6+1 but she said more like 5 to 5 and a half at most, there is a foetal pole and a faint heartbeat. She recommended another scan in 1-2 weeks to see if any growth. My lmp dates would put me at 7 weeks so I think she thought thing's were not so hopeful?
I'm trying to focus on the positive. Baby in right place with a heartbeat. Hope everyone else is ok x

FuzzyOwl · 05/08/2017 15:50

Can understand your worry Stonesourfangirl but remember seeing a heartbeat is really positive and your miscarrige risk does drop hugely as a result. Also, the sonograoher is measuring something so small it is very hard to accurately date a baby at this stage - 12 weeks is said to be the most accurate time as before or after are so difficult. Glad you are going back for another scan though as at least you won't be in limbo.

Charmander90 · 05/08/2017 15:55

Hi ladies, can I join as a bit of a latecomer please?

Been having positive tests all week so think it's between 4 and 5 weeks. (Due date is 5th April, if I've remembered my dates properly, which I probably haven't). Just trying not to get too invested as had a loss at this stage at the beginning of May but would quite like to have some people to tell other than my OH and the baby, who's only 9 months so doesn't understand anyway lol.

Stonesourfangirl · 05/08/2017 16:09

Thank you FuzzyOwl! It's so easy to torment yourself, it makes sense as to why early scans aren't offered unless necessary.
Between early pg tests and early scans you can get yourself into a right state!
I'm still feeling very sick and tired so going to focus on the positive unless proven otherwise x
