Yay! Am so relieved for you Louanne! X

Louanne89 · 26/07/2017 12:41

Thank you @lookatthemoon and thank you everyone! And hope everyone's scans have gone well today too! May I stay even though I'm not technically a 'Feb baby' any more hehe? Xx

RainyDayBear · 26/07/2017 12:42

Ginger We did NCT classes with DD and liked them. I didn't find the birth class as useful as I'd been reading up a lot, but it was good for getting DP and I talking about it. The class about taking care of the baby was far more useful for me as I'd been reading so much about the birth I hadn't actually focused on what the heck you do afterwards! NCT was good, but they did very much promote natural birth - which didn't happen for me, luckily I'd read up on other stuff though so a caesarean wasn't a total shock. It was good for meeting other mums though, actually off to a toddler activity with two this afternoon. This time round I'm planning to go to an aquanatal class that runs locally in an attempt to make some Mum friends.

Good luck with all the scans today! Glad it was good news Louanne

lou amazing news about your scan :-) my due date is 27th Jan but I am staying in this group also. As it's my first it will probably be late and born in Feb anyway.

I also took my notes to my scan. It says o the front of mine to take to every appointment.

EmilyK83 · 26/07/2017 13:16

Ahhhh Lou I'm so pleased for you, you must be so relieved!!

11 weeks today for me. Apparently it's now the size of a Brussels sprout...

lookatthemoon · 26/07/2017 13:18

Anyone else think they can feel movement? Am 12 + 5. It feels like movement but then again since first pregnancy I also regularly feel all sorts of movement in that whole region so who knows ...

tobeornottobe1 · 26/07/2017 13:45

Does anybody get alot of back pain? And pain around lower abdomen ? 9+5 and have so much aches and pains Sad

pretzelpieces · 26/07/2017 14:11

look daisy birthing is a mixture of birth preparation/education and yoga/relaxation. I found it really helpful last time so I'm planning to do it again. Are you feeling movements... Or wind? Grin

lou brilliant news about your scan. I'm also due 31st Jan, but expecting to be before that as I was induced a week early last time (gestational diabetes).

Good luck for the other scans today!

pretzelpieces · 26/07/2017 14:12

Yes tobe! Back aches and tummy stretchy pains. Very normal. Smile

EmilyK83 · 26/07/2017 14:21

look no movement for me... just a rumbly tummy!

tobe all sorts of weird aches and pains here, the latest one is an ache in the left side of my groin which won't shift!

Loxy4527 · 26/07/2017 14:22

Fantastic, Lou! Phew, what a relief :)

The only feeling I've had so far have always been wind, no cramps yet thankfully. I have no idea what to expect from actual movements as this is my first but it'll be exciting when it does happen :)

boringbetty · 26/07/2017 15:39

Great news Lou so happy for you .

They have changed my scan now to 4.20 so only an hour to wait but it is dragging I just want it over now

Sah2241 · 26/07/2017 15:43

Hi everyone, can I join this group? I'm 11+1 weeks now so due mid-Feb. Congrats to you all, sounds like it is all go with scans now. I'm still waiting for a date for mine - getting impatient now!

babayagga · 26/07/2017 17:10

lou and ginger - how did your scans go today?

HELP! I read everywhere online that I should be feeling better and getting my groove back now (at almost 13 weeks), but I still feel absolutely exhausted. I take 3-hour naps and can still barely function. Are you all feeling more energetic? Envy

babayagga · 26/07/2017 17:13

Sorry louanne, just saw that you'd already posted- congratulations!

babayagga · 26/07/2017 17:16

tobe I get frequent lower abdomen pains, can't decide if they're gas or stretching... just feel heavy and like I need to sit down- or better yet, lie down.

boringbetty · 26/07/2017 17:16

Just had scan no heart beat found looks like baby stopped growing at 8+3

RainyDayBear · 26/07/2017 17:19

Babayaga I am still getting pains the odd ache and a sharp pain but been told it's normal so hoping as there is no blood everything is ok and all looked good on my scan last week Judy trying not to worry.

look I am approaching 14 weeks and I have felt the odd flutter but have been told to probably wind but tend to feel it more when lying down

sah welcome. Thought you should have had a date for scan by now, have you had your booking in appointment yet?
