New thread time ladies!

ginger my scan was at 8:40 last week and we were the first on the list. All done before nine, including the blood test.

I'm hoping not as I won't cope well with desperately needing a wee! 😂

@SofiePendragon fingers crossed it's the same for me. I also will be having blood tests as my booking in was done at my house.

@GingerRogers84 mine is also at 8:40 so fingers crossed there are no delays! Can't imagine there will be (famous last words)

Welcome Lou - and gorgeous scan Pidgy - I don't blame you for being annoyed with the sonographer though!!

Seems like those of us who still have the 12 week scan to come are all terrified...

I know I am @EmilyK83, finally got my scan date which is two weeks today, I'll be 12+5. It's gonna be a long two weeks as still signed off with nausea and the days are dragging.

Awww lynz I hope you feel better soon lovely! I kinda wish I was still feeling nauseous - the fact that it's gone makes me worry even more... I'll be 12+6 at my scan, also 2 weeks today, fingers crossed it's great news for us both on that day x

Thank you @EmilyK83 - I do get the odd day of respite but then I just stress same as you because my symptoms have gone roll on the 8th eh? x

I wouldn't worry about the sickness too much ladies. Most of my symptoms disappeared last week only to come back this week with great vengeance. Achey boobs and nausea = fun times!

Also, if you are looking for ways to meet other new mums in your area look up breastfeeding classes. I found them great.

Good luck to everyone having a scan today! Last night I teared up watching Masterchef because someone made a toffee apple dessert that looked so delicious. I'm pretty sure that means I'm still very pregnant ...

@lookatthemoon I'm not too sure what they are yet, they are something @pretzelpieces pieces mentioned when I asked about NCT versus NHS classes. Sound relaxing though. I shall definitely look up the breast feeding groups.

Also I watched that Diana: Our mother documentary earlier and cried through the whole thing. I'm with you on the emotional front.

Well I'm even more nervous for my scan now.. got up for my routine 3rd wee of the night to blood

I was having doubts this morning after a day of feeling normal yesterday. Then I made eggs for breakfast and had to spend 15 minutes with my head between my legs to keep it down, haha. But still, roll on next week and the scan!

I finally went to doctors with headache yesterday and said I was ok to take painkillers with caffeine if it helped (it's a miracle cure) as long as I don't go over my limit. Said I can take codeine as well if they are really bad as it's safe to take early on in pregnancy just not after 30 weeks. Today I only have the slightest headache which an amazing feeling after suffering so long!

I've been a bit AWOL for the last few weeks because I have an exam today! Trying to concentrate on studying but here I am instead! Just have to get through today then I can be excited for my scan on Friday.

Might be a stupid question but are you supposed to take your notes to 12 week scan? Because I don't have mine!? Should I?

Llama Good luck for your exam! My midwife gave me my notes when I booked in with her. I took the notes to the scans - the reports of the scan then got filed in the results section. If you don't have any notes, I'd just take the appointment letter as that will have your hospital number on it which helps the team keep track of everything.

Good luck for all the scans today! Still a few weeks for mine and I'm getting impatient!

Re the topic of notes - we don't have paper notes in my neck of the woods - it's all online and there's even a little app to use so we can read everything.

Also I don't think there's a charge for photos from scan - nothing about that in my letter or that I've been told but we'll see - will take cash just incase!

It's good news for me baby wiggling away and growing bigger which puts my EDD to January 31st..

Bleeding they believe is coming from my cervix so will be rescanned in 3 weeks to see how it's getting on
