Aha! Found it. I know how you're feeling, my DH has been looking at me with sympathy as I mope around feeling nauseous and knackered all the time. This afternoon has been better though, was falling asleep at my desk but at least I didn't feel sick and I've eaten a proper dinner for once!

Any second or third timers know whether the sickness comes and goes? Part of me wants the worst of it to be over, the other part is glad of a symptom to make me feel like it's real.

BlackCatSmushyFace · 28/06/2017 19:44

Hi!!
Can I join pls ladies?? Think I'm due 6th Feb. This is the first one. I'm old. My head needs a good wobble.
Grin

Thattwatoverthere · 28/06/2017 19:53

I'm so tired most of the time and feeling really nauseous. I think I'd rather be sick than feel like I might be all day. Usually I hit a wall at about 2pm but today was 11am and had no idea how I was going to get through the day. I've been very unproductive at work for the last couple of weeks, I really hope I can get my head together soon.

But on a positive note, I got my 12 week scan appointment though today and it's in less than a month! Very excited about that Grin

RainyDayBear · 28/06/2017 20:01

Loxy I'm a second timer and this is definitely more relentless than last time when I had good and bad days! Sorry that's not overly reassuring!

Marking my place... Smile

Actually loving the nausea today, the way I see it is that symptoms are positive,it's part of what I'm using to convince myself that everything will work out!

UnglamorousMum · 28/06/2017 20:59

Marking my place!

GingerRogers84 · 28/06/2017 21:42

Found it! ☺️

positiveglow · 28/06/2017 21:43

Found it too!

Melody85 · 28/06/2017 21:56

Thanks @rainydaybear for the new thread! 👍🏼
Is anyone else struggling to fit in their clothes yet? I honestly can't do my jeans up anymore and am only 9 weeks!! I'm sure it's just terrible bloating, but surely too early for maternity clothes?!

GingerRogers84 · 28/06/2017 22:10

@Melody85
I am too. Between the bloating and ever expanding boobs I'm running low on clothes that fit! 😂

Thira · 28/06/2017 22:19

Do we have a secret fb group yet? I feel like I have to wait for my scan before I can properly join in :/

lookatthemoon · 28/06/2017 22:31

Thanks for new thread!

Melody - i have a photo of me at 12 weeks last time and I genuinely look 6 months gone I am so bloated! It does go at least.

I've actually lost a little weight because of the bloody sickness except for my boobs which are HUGE now. And I'm petite so they look ridiculous 🙄

llamabeans · 28/06/2017 22:43

Hi everyone! I'm sneaking in on thread number 2 (already!?) Not really been feeling too bad, no sickness but quite tired and struggling to concentrate at work. Had a cheeky scan on Tuesday at 8+3 and all is looking good. 😊

Going to tell our parents this weekend and I suppose I should start thinking about telling my boss sometime soon... I feel really nervous about it though. I'm sure it'll be fine but I guess telling people just makes it really real. Has anyone else told family/friends/bosses yet?

Oh and I think I also need new trousers already 🙁 To be fair, they were always a little tight....

choochooo · 28/06/2017 22:47

Hello! Marking place.

Does anyone have the list of everyone with EDDs? It's nice to remember who everyone is. No worries if not!

To those asking about sickness. I didn't get any until 7 weeks with my DS then it hit at 8 weeks. Went on until 13 weeks then stopped and that was it for me. But everyone is different. This time I've had slight nausea already and I'm only 5+6.

Melody85 · 28/06/2017 23:15

Thanks ladies, making me feel a lot better about it 😊 Just caved and bought some maternity jeans from Asos! Xx

lookatthemoon · 29/06/2017 00:43

Remmber how an hour ago I said I had lost a little weight - well I just weighed myself and I put on a kilo in 24 hours. Oh the randomness of being pregnant ...

Pidgythe2nd · 29/06/2017 06:36

Morning!
I'm finding it hard to fit in clothes too! Must be the bloating and not helped by constant eating. It's the only thing that keeps the nausea at bay. Hmm
And I'm being totally unproductive at work too. Really lacking motivation. Was pretty fed up of it anyway, but I think this baby will mean I leave as we may move closer to my family for a bit more support.
Still no booking in appointment so will ring again today!

EmilyK83 · 29/06/2017 07:23

Morning all! Plenty of bloat here too - I'd been exactly the same weight for ages, and at 7+1 I'm already 3lb up...I keep reading stuff about how you're not supposed to gain in the first trimester?!

Llama we've told our parents and I've told a couple of friends who have kids - basically want to make sure I have a support network around me if something goes wrong...

I'm really bloated at the moment. I'd just lost a stone before I fell pregnant which is a bit irritating, though keep reminding myself how big I'd be feeling right now if I hadn't!

I keep eating too to try and keep the nausea at bay - I am basically living on mini cheddars at the moment!!

OP posts:
Toomanydogs · 29/06/2017 09:19

I had my appointment with MW yesterday, saw two of them together they were great! Feeling a bit more confident now, I'm 9 weeks and being very sick whenever I eat or just in the morning before I've eaten, can keep very small amounts of plain food down, and feel awful the rest of the time. Although I feel like rubbish it's reassuring after my MC at 7 weeks in March when I didn't really have any symptoms, although the novelty is wearing off now lol. I've lost over half a stone in the last 3 weeks not through trying Shock

Eclecticmama · 29/06/2017 13:03

Hello all! I've been keeping up with the thread, but haven't posted much.

So sorry bliss and pumbleton Flowers hope you are both ok. If I have time later I'll try to update the list, unless anyone else gets to it first.

I'm finding this pregnancy different from my first: less nausea, more heartburn and greasy hair. I reckon it's a boy.

Does anyone else have any inkling as to the sex?

TriJo · 29/06/2017 13:23

Nightmare night with DS last night - he woke up coughing and crying at midnight, wouldn't settle, barfed up the entire contents of his stomach and a decent chunk of phlegm all over the double bed at 1am, didn't settle back to sleep until 2:30am and then was up bright and chirpy at 6:30. I am barely functioning at work today tbh. More tea.

TriJo · 29/06/2017 13:23

Eclectic I'm strongly suspecting girl because I'm much sicker this time than I was last time with a boy.

Thattwatoverthere · 29/06/2017 13:23

My OH refers to it at he and I keep trying to correct him which is a bit odd as I don't really have an inkling! But I don't like saying it as seems so impersonal 😂

Is anyone going to find out what they're having when the time comes?
