Scan went well. Baby fine we stayed team yellow though I was very tempted.
My back pains have eased off but it's my stomach it's is like a constant throbbing ache that almost makes me feel sick. I just can't get comfortable.
I'm highly emotional today can't stop crying, just feeling sorry for myself vowed I'd stay positive this pregnancy and not moan but it's not working poor dh no wonder he's working away from September until after the baby is born lol.
I'm back in the bath as that's the only place I can relax making the most of dh being here to look after the kids to just do what I like ha.

Hello. Can I be a very late joiner? I am expecting my first, due 28th Dec. I have been lurking right from the beginning but now I am over all the sickness and have had 20 week scan would love to join.

ScotsLamb · 14/08/2017 21:30

My 20 week scan went well today today. Baby is 100% normal!

fishfinger I have the same tummy sore feeling. It's like muscle pain always. When I get up or lie down it's sore. I feel huge already but I'm really not. I've lost a lot of weigh and bump is probably about size of a share size bag of crisps but I feel really weighed down by it.

Brens13 · 15/08/2017 08:27

Hi May, welcome and congratulations! I hope all went well with the 20 week scan. If you'd like some more action, we also have a facebook group which has more people on it. If you'd like to join you can PM me your email address and I can invite you in :) No problem of course if you'd like to just stay on MN x

I've done a gentle work out today just a bit of yoga stuff and some kettle bells but it seems to have helped my back ache and my stomach too. Though I did have to vomit in the middle of it ha.

May07 · 15/08/2017 18:47

Thanks for the welcome Brens - I will message you!

ScotsLamb · 15/08/2017 21:11

fishfinger well done on the yoga. I'm so impressed you went back after the spew!
I've got pregna act yoga booked for 1st September. I'm so excited.

tuxedocat · 17/08/2017 10:50

How are we all doing? I am certainly enjoying being this side of 20 weeks and enjoying the kicks and punches I am gettingGrin

ScotsLamb · 17/08/2017 18:47

I'm the same tuxedo. Starting to feel "normal" with a wee hard podgy tummy. Most symptoms have vanished and I'm enjoying cooking and food :-)
How are you?

fishfingerSarnies · 17/08/2017 19:03

I'm still being sick and feel like shit. It's actually getting worse. Off to GP tomorrow hopefully to try get something sorted.

tuxedocat · 17/08/2017 19:30

Sorry to hear that fish I hope the GP can sort you something!

scots I'm doing good thank you - suffered with some horrid indigestion recently and can't get comfy to sleep but picked up an aldi V pillow (5.99!) at the baby event today so hoping that helps Smile

I still can't believe how fast it's all going. We are fully fledged pregnant women! It just feels surreal still

Mrsbluebell17 · 17/08/2017 21:14

Same here tuxedo and Scots. This is the nice bit, although my legs are suffering a little bit at the moment but all is ok! Loving feeling regular movements from the little one Grin

fishfingerSarnies · 18/08/2017 11:17

Haven't made it to the GP as felt fine this morning so thought maybe it was just a bug making my sickness really bad again but the sickness has just kicked back in, guess that half a piece of toast I ate was just too much to handle.Hmm
I'm glad eveone else is starting to feel better. I thought I was going to enjoy the second trimester but it's been pretty rough so far!
Oh well. Only 17 weeks and 5 days to go! Or less even if they do my section at 39 weeks!

fishfingerSarnies · 20/08/2017 13:38

Should have gone to the gp sooner I'm now on an iv drip at hospital to try get my fluids up.

Mrsbluebell17 · 20/08/2017 17:17

Oh ffishfinger at least you're in the right place now! Sending you lots of happy thoughts and hoping you feel better very soon.

ScotsLamb · 21/08/2017 21:51

Oh no! Hope today has been a better day. How are you feeling?

fishfingerSarnies · 21/08/2017 22:24

Better today, I'm home and the pills seem to be working so fingers crossed, not been sick since this morning.
How's everyone else doing?

ScotsLamb · 22/08/2017 07:04

That's good. Did you feel better once the fluids were in? Lots of rest and sleep to get you back to full fitness!

tuxedocat · 22/08/2017 11:24

Glad you are feeling better fish

Anyone else suffering with a bloody nose a lot? sometimes it's like an actual nose bleed, other times it's just bloody snot. I'm not too concerned as my mum said she had it often but curious is anyone else is?

Miami81 · 22/08/2017 11:52

Tuxedo
Me. Never had bloody noses before but been having them pretty consistently now since around 12 weeks. No actual full on nose bleed yet, just bloody mucus really.
It's gross.

Mrsbluebell17 · 22/08/2017 13:00

Tuxedo yes!! Me!! Exactly the same. Hmm

tuxedocat · 22/08/2017 13:19

Phew - it's weird isn't it! I think it's to do with the extra blood pumping around the body. Will mention it to my MW tomorrow - I'm excited to hear baby's heartbeat!

carolineandbaby · 23/08/2017 07:51

Hi everyone. Late joiner due 22nd. Don't have fb sorry. Had 20 week scan expecting a girl, still controlling morning sickness with anti sickness tablets. Had quite a complicated pregnancy so far following positive harmony blood test results but excited to feel my girl kick and see a little bump developing. Hope you are all well

fishfingerSarnies · 23/08/2017 07:59

Hi Caroline I'm sorry you are having a rough pregnancy, but welcome and congratulations on your girl.
I'm on sickness meds too currently eating a rice cake and taking my morning pill before I can get out of bed. Oh the joys.

carolineandbaby · 23/08/2017 08:06

You will feel so much better on the meds it's saved me. I honestly wondered how ppl make it to 9 months but when your not being sick it makes a huge difference! I wasn't really sure how to add my details to the spreadsheet
