I have just got a (faint) BFP which, going by ovulation, would give me an EDD of March 2nd.

I recently had two early MC so I'm definitely not getting excited yet - but equally trying to stay positive and believe this one might just stick, hence starting this thread!

This would be my second DC, I have a DD who is 26 months.

Anyone else?!

@SheSaidHeSaid, I'm getting slight nausea in the evenings, but it's not bad. Am getting food aversions which change by day. We were supposed to be having quesadillas for dinner, which I normally love, but the thought of them was turning my stomach. Am also really tired.
My sore boobs are really sore! I can't sleep in certain positions because of them. I'm also very tired, especially in the evenings.

SheSaidHeSaid · 11/07/2017 20:32

Same flat! I can only fall asleep on my front but because my boobs are sore I'm funding it hard to get comfy on my front now. DH says it's prep for when bump gets bigger and I can't sleep on my front because of that.

ChaoticKate · 11/07/2017 20:47

@Shesaidhesaid I'm feeling very nauseous a lot of the time and have gone off chocolate completely. Whenever I'm not feeling sick, I'm absolutely starving. I'm very tired, getting occasional headaches and still getting occasional cramping and twinges in my pelvis. Also extremely bloated and boobs are quite sore. It's a ridiculously long list for 6+1 and therefore I'm pretty certain at least 50% of my symptoms are psychosomatic! At least if I'm busy with imaginary symptoms, it stops me worrying about things going wrong.

Chocolatehorse · 11/07/2017 20:55

Hi, congratulations everyone. Mind if I join you all? This is my first ever post and first pregnancy. I'm 4w2d I think and have an expected due date of 15th of March according to the NHS calculator. Just trying to act normal at the moment whilst feeling a mixture of excited and nauseous Smile

SheSaidHeSaid · 11/07/2017 21:12

Hi chocolate! Congratulations!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 11/07/2017 21:29

Hey 1000 glad you've joined us! 👋 x
And welcome new ladies 🤗 and congrats.
Im 4+2 too due the 16th based on lmp.
I'm having some serious pulling pains this evening! Very disconcerting.

Excited1103 · 11/07/2017 21:37

Welcome newbies and congratulations!

@shesaidhesaid - I'm most just exhausted all the time, had to switch from train to tube to get a seat this morning because I didn't feel I could stand up any more, then fell asleep despite naps all day yesterday and a full sleep. Slight nausea and a bit sick in my mouth from bad smells 4 or 5 times, plus little crampy tummy stretches and a LOT of gas. Most excitingly, I have bionic smelling power now that includes identifying people smoking over 20m away from me (and doing a little retch). I was once a smoker, used to miss it from the smell!

WhyTheHeckMe · 11/07/2017 21:40

Anyone here got no symptoms? I'm 5 weeks 1 day I think. Last time my only symptom was boob pain. This time I don't even have that :-( trying so hard not to worry and doing dh head in my testing every other day! Think I'm going to go for a private scan next week to see what's going on...

RunningonCaffeine · 11/07/2017 21:46

Hi everyone. Politely requesting to join the club please! Already have a DS who is 21 months and now baby number 2 is due early March 2018! How is everyone doing? Does anyone else have a young DC already? Worried how I'll manage with a newborn and toddler!

WhyTheHeckMe · 11/07/2017 22:02

Hi runningoncaffeine
My ds is almost 18 months and I'm due around March 12th, also pretty nervous about the age gap although I know people with a lot less!
Congrats on the pregnancy

MrsLoz · 11/07/2017 22:11

whytheheckme I'm 6+1 and also have no symptoms! I had a couple of days nausea/tiredness about a week ago but that cleared up. I am on holiday at the moment so not been doing much apart from lounging around the pool. I'm kind of hoping when I'm back at work next week I will get something, just to make me feel pregnant!

I think we might book for an early scan also when we get back. If anything I would just like to know something is in there with the loss of symptoms. I will probably be about 7+5 if we can get in when we want to. I think a heartbeat should be around by then, then we are going to tell our parents/family.

Excited1103 · 12/07/2017 00:07

@1000jobs - hope it's fine, if not you can blame morning sickness!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 12/07/2017 02:55

Hello running i have a dd who is 17m. I believe there is quite a few of us that will have newborn and a toddler.. I'm excited and scared all rolled into one!

GWeatherwax · 12/07/2017 07:17

whytheheckme and mrsloz I also have no symptoms apart from a bit of bloat, zero boob pain at all - I'm trying not to read too much into it Smile

1000jobs hope you don't get sick but you're right, it wouldn't hurt your baby. It would just be tough to make sure you're hydrated enough. Nothing worse than that feeling of not knowing, hope you're ok!

We decided to tell our parents last night as I am already fed up of "faking it" and telling wee lies. It was a good decision! Especially as I was hit by a wave of fatigue.

DancingUnicorn · 12/07/2017 07:23

Gweather I'm quite relieved to see someone else with no boob pain! Last time it was agony, but nothing at all really now! I'm just feeling really tired and a bit non-specifically off colour. Hopefully it's all fine for us and either the symptoms will hit us later or we'll be 'lucky' and manage to avoid. (I use the inverted commas as the lack of symptoms has sent my anxiety into overdrive!)

SophSoph92 · 12/07/2017 07:42

Hi everyone! 4 weeks today!
24 yrs
Baby no 1.
Due 18th March.

Not a huge amount of symptoms, other than slightly sore boobs (but I had these with my period after coming off the pill) also some mild nausea already and incredibly emotional!
I too am cautiously optimistic but already so
In love with this little poppy seed. I just want to get totally clear of my AF window. Was due Monday and always like clockwork but Flo keeps telling me it's late but in the norm! GRR! I've taken a test every day since finding out on Friday and they are getting stronger. Although I'm very aware that I need to chill out haha! Anyway....! Hope
You don't mind me joining, I'm just looking to talk with as many people in the same boat as me. Particularly because it's way too early for me to tell anyone, keep thinking I'll jinx it.
Xxx

SophSoph92 · 12/07/2017 07:44

Oh! And exhausted!! I like a sleep but I've been eye dropping and napping like you wouldn't believe recently.

Chocolatehorse · 12/07/2017 08:13

I'm really tiered too soph dh has been ill this week too so we've both been in bed asleep by 9 every night!

Has anyone told work yet? I'm worried someone's going to catch me with my secret supply of decaf tea. I must look really guilty everyone someone come into our kitchen area.

SophSoph92 · 12/07/2017 08:20

Yeah I had to tell work because I'm very public facing and sometimes in quite highly emotional situations, so I'm off all of that already just in case! My boss has been amazing though and she's thinking of excuses so my colleagues don't catch wind until I'm ready to tell them!

1000jobstodo · 12/07/2017 08:21

Hi Blue! 😀 Good to see you too x

Thanks Gweather and Running I had no sickness. My student days left me with an iron stomach I think, even 10 years later. I shudder at how I used to eat!

Yes I'm another where this is my 2nd 😁 Finding the tiredness very difficult as my dd is being particularly difficult at the moment. Last time I could at least crawl into bed after work. I know from last time the worst tiredness is yet to come! Never mind, we're all strong and will help each other get through it.

Hope everyone has a lovely day

FresasAndFrambuesas · 12/07/2017 09:07

Can I (tentatively) join? 4+1 today with an edd of 20th march, I had a faint bfp 2 days ago and a clear one today.

I'm 33, have 4 year old dd, then had a mmc in 2015, and an ectopic earlier this year. This was it first cycle trying after the ectopic, so I'm a mix of excited and terrified. I need to make an appointment with my obstetrician for around 6 weeks for a scan because of the ectopic.

So far I'm just getting a touch of nausea, not hungry in the mornings and occasional sore boobs. Oh and I did dreadfully running this morning because I felt so tired, I only managed 15 minutes and walked the other 15.

Tigger83 · 12/07/2017 09:59

Hi all, I'm cautiously joining this is my third pregnancy in 6 months, 1st ended in mmc 2nd was a chemical. I'm just hoping for the best at the min. Starting to get sore boobs but only slightly and not really sore just more aware, nausea mainly in the evening but all day yesterday and shattered.

I'm currently 4+5 due on 16th march and it's my 1st baby.

I'm having an early scan next Friday due to an increased risk of ectopic

Chocolatehorse · 12/07/2017 10:28

Glad your manager is helping soph. I'm desk based but on am industrial site so theyre pretty big on doing risk assessments ect for things like this. I think I'll leave it till after my first doctors appointment though.
Do I need to mention it's for pregnancy when I make the first one or is it just a normal appointment? There's so much I don't know!

Hopefully those of you who've had problems can get some early reassurance. Must be Evan more nerve wracking in that situation.

MrsLoz · 12/07/2017 10:58

chocolatehorse it depends on your area whether you see the GP first or not. Some areas you self refer to the midwife. I rang my doctors and told them I was pregnant and they booked me in to see the midwife at the surgery at 8 weeks.

mamasiz · 12/07/2017 12:29

Just about to go in for my first midwife appointment! 😊
