Thread #6 for the chatty mums due in December (or thereabouts!).

As we move into the second trimester there will be more dating scans, gender reveals and burgeoning bumps - and hopefully a reduction in nausea!

14 weeks today. Feels weird to say I'm in the 2nd trimester already. Hope everyone has had a good weekend.

I am 12w2 today and EDD is 20th December!
I am just starting to dare to believe this is happening after a failed IVF, and a chemical pg just after Christmas, had a private scan as part of my FET treatment when I was 9w4 but haven't got my MW app and scan until tomorrow (12w3) which I'm a bit worried about as I think that's quite late as I'm older?

Welcome monkeypuzzle and congratulations on hopeful reassurance tomorrow. I've also got my first scan tomorrow around 12+1 and can't wait. It seems all mw app timings vary based on others on here, hopefully all will be OK and it won't matter that you've had to wait

My pregnancy brain got me pouring lemon juice on my breakfast this morning.. it's gonna be one of those days!! Off out for a little run in a few. Not been feeling up to it lately so it's gonna be a short one but I'm hoping it will make me feel better have a great day folks!

We're out and I just ordered and ate 75% of the most gorgeous open goats cheese sandwich - thick slabs of goats cheese. It was 75% done before it occurred to me that I might not be allowed goats cheese. And of course I'm not!

Needless to say, I finished the rest as the damage had already been done. But what a plonker!

I thought you could have goats cheese if it was pasteurised? And I thought most were nowadays.

I have my scan tomorrow, early morning thankfully, should be 12+4. First scan and feels like I've been pregnant forever already. Sickness is maybe going or fading but being replaced by killer headaches that still make me feel sick, but hoping that's more the heat!

damn! about the goats cheese-I got them to take it off a pizza I had the other day, and the pizza was delicious so would have been even better with goats cheese too!

I've had it cooked on a pizza but this was my first slab of raw for many years! Must be a weird pregnancy craving haha. I've heard they're mostly pasteurised too but no idea how you can tell in a cafe!

Anyway, it was deeeeeelicious!

Due to the pregnancy hormones I seriously have replaced sex with food so you might not be entirely incorrect...

So I'm at work on a night shift. Currently sitting in the break room crying my eyes out for no reason. Absolutely ridiculous. Can't do any work. Manager treading on eggshells around me. Every time anyone asks if I'm ok, I start crying harder!!! Hormones are fun...

Glad to hear you're ok Monty. Yeah I got back to sleep for another hour or so. We are off work for a few days this week and going away for a few days so I'm hoping for a relaxing time over the next couple of days to recoup on some energy.... that's after packing, loading the car and driving there of course .

Back on the worry bench 🙁 Was cuddling with my SD yesterday when my SS decided he would join in - by jumping onto me. He's a strong, hefty 7 year old and almost all of his body weight went through the heel of his hand, which landed on my lower tummy, right where my SD and I had just been feeling what we think is Little Biker's head (hard lump appearing and moving around about an inch below my belly button). Still sore today and I'm scared for LB! Whether he's alive, whether any of his body parts are crushed, etc. Haven't any bleeding or doubling-over type cramps, but I'm definitely aching in that particular spot and sore when I press it. Argh!
