Thread #6 for the chatty mums due in December (or thereabouts!).

As we move into the second trimester there will be more dating scans, gender reveals and burgeoning bumps - and hopefully a reduction in nausea!

Lapin great news on your scan being ok. Just keep an eye on the discharge and if you're at all worried then go back to get checked again if you can.

Zaber I'm glad you started the food convos again, we'd let them slip before hehe. Today I had a sausage sarnie for breakie, then a happy meal and then went to a restaurant with my DH and gran and had vegetable soup followed by sea bream and veg. Was lush!

Had a crazy busy day off work. Got a busy week or so coming up too but some downtime in there too.

I'll be going to vote tomorrow. Then I have a busy afternoon with my course (a test to sit) and then off for dinner with friends. Its my birthday Friday so celebrations start tomorrow.... Looking forward to that.

We've booked our 4D and private gender scan but could only get in at 18 weeks due to clashes on availability so that's on July 8th, and then NHS scan on 25th July. I'm just one of those with any excuse taken for an extra scan. I think I'm obsessed.

I'm in the 3/4am club today! Bit earlier than the usual 4:30!

Monty I've double checked and as long as it is warm then it's ok. It issue would be if it was cooked and then chilled (don't know why). You would need to re cook before eating.
OH commented that my boobs aren't as big as they had been. I'm back in my normal bras 😊 I though the sickness had vanished yesterday but it's back. 9 hour sleep but still tired. I don't know how the 3am club cope!

Breakfast will be bacon, egg and mushrooms, I think.. pre-breakfast () is a mug of hot lemon water and an orange. Trying to combat my bloating. I announced my pregnancy on Instagram and immediately got told my bump is huge (it's not like I don't know!!!) and now I'm all self conscious

Well after a night of puking, I have no intention of attempting to move.

I called work. And called the lady who answered my name. My throats so bloody sore and my brain doesn't work 😪 So I seemed to really confuse her!

Oh Zaber people tell me baby brain doesn't start until third trimester. I don't believe them! Look after yourself.

I'm having melon and strawberries for breakfast and hoping the hotel we are in for work today has yummy granola pots like yesterday.

Well a proper good night sleep for me last night but back on the worry bench this morning as it's been a week now since we had the NIPT tests and very anxiously awaiting the results!
Would be great to get them today and to be able to go to our dating scan tomorrow and actually enjoy a scan!
Breakfast was 2 crumpets...one with butter, and one with Chocolate Spread and Peanut Butter! Yum!
Went out and voted first thing this morning so have the rest of the day to give the house a little clean/tidy, read my book, do some photo editing and just potter around. Going out for tea tonight with some friends visiting from Oz and my soon to be ex-husband who is still one of my best friends!

All your breakfasts sound amazing. Mine was two almost hard fried eggs (they are lion stamped and I just can't bring myself to go full solid) on two slices of toast with laughing cow blue cheese spread. And a decaf tea.

I am fascinated by your exh who is still your best friend Mary. I know nobody at all who could pull that off!! Good for you. Are you scandanavian? Best friend is and her aunt and uncle used to still go on holidays together with their boys after divorce. All very grown up I felt.

Hi Mary - I'm sure you will be fine and probably find out today. I hate the nipt test. I've been reading about the rate of chromosomal abnormalities with inconclusive results (up to 23% in some studies) and am freaking out - wish I'd never had the bloody thing.

Fingers crossed for the results today for you Mary.

I'm still lying in bed, enjoying being off work able to try to lie in a little more. Off to make sausage sarnies again for breakfast shortly. And have some strawberries in the fridge that need eating too. Then we are out for lunch and dinner tonight. Voting later this morning too.

Had a full night's sleep but still tired. Back in work today after being on holiday yesterday, I hope the day won't be too dragging.
Had a slice of toast with salted butter for breakfast and some breakfast biscuits when I arrived in work. I need to drink more, feel really bad for this, but it was always a problem for me.

Ah, and I can't vote :-( but will accompany my boyfriend after work to the polling station.

These breakfasts sound great - mine was simply bran flakes so hardly exciting but the only thing I feel that fills me up enough.
peachi I've been dying for toast and salted butter for so long but I fear if I buy butter I'll eat the entire thing in a day which can't be good Might treat myself one day

Panorama results back - all low risk (confirming the combination test results) and we're now definitively Team 💙 😄 Had a gut instinct (which is probably tosh but still...!) so it's so cool to have it confirmed!

Amazingly happy and really hoping scan goes well tonight.

Update re travel sickness - Duty GP today was actually amazing at reassuring me, and has prescribed Cyclizine. Fingers crossed I'm not poisoning Little Biker too much!

Our results are due in the next 48 hours. Must try to focus on something else. I've just woken up after a proper night's sleep for the first time in yonks and am positively starving reading all your breakfast updates. Have to go in to work and have a progress meeting with my supervisor which I'm not looking forward to (only because of how little progress I've made in the past month!).

@MaryShelley1818 Thank you 😄 We would have been happy either way but are absolutely over the moon! Had the test 2 weeks ago at a private hospital.
