Hello! Just got my bfp, would love to join up with others expecting next Feb.

My DD is 16 months, so we're expecting (almost exactly!) a 2yr age gap all being well. EDD 2nd Feb.

Hi, can I join too please?
I've been getting gradually darker bfps since a very faint one last Sunday and am now officially 1 day late for af, and Edd is 2nd Feb. I've got my booking in appointment in a month and apparently don't need to see a go in the meantime. Suspect I'll poas nearly every day until then! Congratulations to you all.

Cookie1831 · 26/05/2017 07:31

Hooray lots more BFPs welcome newbies and congrats! Yeah of course stay here girlies end of jan start of feb is all the same
I think I conceived on the 15th may or possible mid week the week before but as I have absolutely no idea when ovulated due to long cycles am only going by when the deed was done!
Am having my repeat bloods this morning am praying for a double of levels and that this lovely little sunshine bubble doesn't burst! It is probably heat but I am so tired was in bed at 2040 last night and not up until 0620 but could still have a snooze zzzzzz

lookatthemoon · 26/05/2017 08:20

Fx crossed Cookie. I hope you get massive numbers ☺️

Cookie1831 · 26/05/2017 12:52

Levels have dropped from 35 to 15 am devastated x

scottishbride · 26/05/2017 13:17

O Cookie, I'm so sorry. It's all so unfair. Can you do something nice this afternoon
Massive hugs xx

Rockaby · 26/05/2017 13:24

I'm so sorry cookie. Sending big hugs to you xx.

lookatthemoon · 26/05/2017 14:50

Oh Cookie - I am so so sorry to hear that. It is so unfair. Be kind to yourself over the next little while xx

Cookie1831 · 26/05/2017 16:39

pickledprogress · 26/05/2017 17:10

Hi all - a tentative can I join too- two faint afternoon positives in a row - edd between Jan 31 and Feb 2. Have a 18 month old girl already 😊Smile

Pidgythe2nd · 27/05/2017 06:37

Hello,
Can I join too please. Got my bfp on a cb digital this morning.
I think my due date is 4th Feb.
Trying not to get too excited as I had an early miscarriage/suspected ectopic in January.
I've been offered an early scan by epu as I'm high risk for ectopics, which I will take up around 6-7 weeks assuming all goes well until then.

So sorry Cookie. Flowers

This will be DC3. I have a Ds who is 5 today! And a DD who is 3.

Feeling a mix of excited and terrified.
Obsessive knicker checking will ensue I am sure.

MammyHester9116 · 27/05/2017 13:26

Hi all.

I got my bfp last night. Af was due tues/wed but didn't want to test too early. I didn't quite believe it.
My lb is nearly 17 months so will be nearly exactly 2 years between them.
My estimated due date is 31st Jan but I bought that group would be busy by now so thought I'd pop on here instead.

Fingers crossed it sticks this time. I got a bfp last month then spotting and tested again and got bfn. Possibly a chemical pregnancy. Not sure!

Good luck everyone!

VocalCat · 27/05/2017 18:06

Oh Cookie I am so sorry. X

Catdogcat · 27/05/2017 18:55

Can I join?

I got a very strong BFP at 10dpo.
(A bit concerned about twins)

This would make my due date 8th Feb.

Feeling slightly nervous as I had HG last pregnancy.

This is DC2 I have a 10 month old DD.

lookatthemoon · 27/05/2017 22:50

Welcome new posters -nice to see all those bfps.

I've officially stopped testing as it was driving me crazy. I cried yesterday morning as I thought the test line wasn't dark enough (ic). Then did a clearblue that came up super dark so I'm officially not doing any more!

pickledprogress · 28/05/2017 08:39

lookatthemoon - I'm that way - lots of light lines! Making myself wait until tomorrow to test again as it's making me go bonkers. Have had 2 early miscarriages at 5-6 weeks before I had my little one so trying to be pragmatic about it all!! Appears I'm 5 weeks today Smile

scottishbride · 28/05/2017 10:32

Hello lovely ladies,
I think the tentatively positive group describes us pretty well.
I'm sorry to hear about all the early loss and miscarriage in this group. I had an early miscarriage before ds and can honestly say it was the most emotionally exhausting experience of my life. So much so, that I didn't enjoy my pregnancy with ds at all, kept thinking something would go wrong to the point where I planned how I would tell my NCT group about a stillbirth.

So, this time I want to be more positive and enjoy things, as most negative outcomes are out of my control. Although I am booking an early scan for 7 weeks!

Are you still enjoying breastfeeding pretzel? I'm trying to drop the night feed but it's a bit hit and miss!!

Pidgythe2nd · 28/05/2017 11:03

Step away from the tests ladies!!

I've learnt from my miscarriage in January as I found they caused me more worry than they solved. Chucked out the internet Charlie's I had as they didn't seem to work for me and definitely weren't as sensitive as they said. Got a 2 pack of cb digital for this cycle, and the higher cost stopped me testing early. Still got one which I'm keeping in case.

Pidgythe2nd · 28/05/2017 11:04

Internet cheapies! Not Charlies!! Grin

lookatthemoon · 28/05/2017 11:06

Congrats in making it to 5 weeks Pickle! Am jealous - ** I'm only 4 weeks today. My first goal was to make it through this weekend, now my goal is to make it to next weekend.

Scottish - I like what you said. Already I notice I can't relax enough to really get excited. I hope this doesn't sound weird but it is some comfort that you had dc after mc. I had ds (world's most uneventful pregnancy) and then had a mc and chem trying for no.2 and so it is important for me (and I'm sure others here) to keep reminding myself that previous losses don't mean this will be a loss too!

lookatthemoon · 28/05/2017 11:07

Sorry - I'm not sure why there is so much bold text in the msg below!

Saltandpepperpig · 28/05/2017 11:54

Can I join please? Got my BFP this morning. Think I'm only 4 weeks. In complete shock as we only started trying this month (and only DTD about 3 times this month) and it took a lot to get pregnant with DD. My first pregnancy was horrendous so I'm hoping this one is easier! Also got a very rare boozy night out planned next weekend with one of my best friends - I would tell her but she is married to my bosses son and don't want the news to accidentally spread, so no idea how I'm going to get out of that one! My boobs are feel like they are going to explode!

VocalCat · 28/05/2017 14:04

Congratulations and welcome Cat and Salt.

I woke up with worrying cramps this morning but no bleeding and all seems ok now. I hate these anxious early days. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Sanchezwasntdirty · 28/05/2017 14:09

Hey can I join in please got a bfp last week, which was a total shock! 1st baby, 4 weeks 6 days today. My edd is 29/01/2018. Really excited and so nervous for what's about to happen. I've got my 1st midwife appointment mid June x

pickledprogress · 28/05/2017 15:15

With my 18month old I had the most horrific cramps early on - I was convinced it wasn't going to stick like the others - it was just her nestling in for the long hall!!

scottishbride · 28/05/2017 18:26

Ooo, interesting about cramps, I had awful cramps on Thursday night, couldn't lie down in bed or get comfortable in any position- thought I had a ruptured ectopic or worse - but lasted about 3 hours then settled. No bleeding so everything crossed here too
