Just checking in to the new thread! I'm absolutely exhausted today so heading to bed. Anyone else now worried that they don't feel sick?! I was relieved two days ago. Feels like ages since I found out but am only 7 weeks today.

Fattycowagain · 19/05/2017 22:11

Time drags by, doesn't it? I counting down the hours until my scan. As in: I have actually made a chart with the hours left on it and cross them off...

JoeyR · 19/05/2017 22:48

Sophsta I feel the same! No nausea here and I'm wishing for at least just a little bit to try and reassure me! Constantly prodding my boobs too to check they're still a bit sore!

StylishDuck · 19/05/2017 22:56

Hi all, checking in. Sorry and Flowers to those having a worrying time. Fx everything works out ok for everyone.

I'm super super tired and feeling a tad queasy on and off. My boobs are pretty sore too. Plus my stomach looks like I'm about 5 months pregnant never mind 6 weeks Blush

I'm going on holiday in a couple of weeks and a nurse friend recommended I wear flight socks on the plane. Something about your blood being thicker in early pregnancy Confused Anyone heard of this before?

Ruthcarr1990 · 19/05/2017 23:02

Yes thick blood is a common cause of miscarriage in early pregnancy. Any one had any mad cravings I'm currently sat here after sending my other half to Mcys dipping chicken nuggets into banana milkshake(I no I'm not right lol) xxx

coragreta · 20/05/2017 06:33

I had to wear flight socks I. My last for low blood pressure. They didn't do much.

Why am I not asleep? I never wake up early. Especially on a weekend! Help. Part of me thinks ok you're awake do stuff before lo wakes up but the other half knows I'll be exhausted by 10am!

starsshinebright · 20/05/2017 06:51

I got my BFP today at 9dpo. EDD would be the 31st January 2018.

This is my 7th pregnancy, following 6 previous miscarriages so I'm feeling highly on edge and just waiting for something to go wrong.

Congratulations to all of you Flowers

sureitsgrand · 20/05/2017 07:24

Hi @starshine, I hope this is your rainbow baby. I couldn't pin point ovulation but I'm guessing around the end of January. I had a mmc last year. Fingers crossed these are our lucky ones.

rememberpurpleronnie · 20/05/2017 07:26

StylishDuck- yes you are more prone to blood clots in pregnancy so flight socks are a good idea.
Starshine- you poor thing, what an emotional trauma, here's to lucky number 7! Hope you are getting well supported and monitored medically?

starsshinebright · 20/05/2017 07:56

Thank you grand and purpleronnie. Fingers crossed!

I'll be having an early scan at 7 weeks, and take progesterone, thyroid, high dosage of folic and aspirin. I'm 23, and my current consultant doing seem overly concerned because I'm so young and have plenty of time Hmm.

starsshinebright · 20/05/2017 07:57

flyingsprocket · 20/05/2017 08:09

Congrats stars keeping everything crossed for you x I must go to my GP next week to get high dose folic acid, I was on it last time.

Hope your scan goes well today Neavesa

fromhackney I've been to several countries where Zika is present in the last few months, did you just call your GP? I haven't had a booking in appointment through yet...?

coragreta · 20/05/2017 08:14

Congrats stars. I hope it all goes well for you.

What are you guys doing re exercise? I usually do park run. I'm giving it a miss this week but wondering what you think? Would it be safe? I might be panicking for nothing I just worry it's too much for my body.

pickledsausage · 20/05/2017 08:16

Congrats & welcome Sureitsgrand

coragreta I'm waking up so early too! 5am yesterday, 6 today! But as my husband and guests were drinking wine last night they're all still sound asleep so I'm taking this opportunity to just lay in bed and relax! Hope your lo stayed asleep a bit longer too!

@starshine congrats on your pregnancy and so sorry for your losses. Age makes not one bit of difference to this, how insensitive of your consultant. Are you on the pred thread with a slightly different username? I'm also on pred, aspirin & the higher folic acid. Xx

Fattycowagain · 20/05/2017 08:38

coragreta, going for a run is perfectly fine!

coragreta · 20/05/2017 08:39

I suppose. I'm just paranoid I haven't run since I found out. I guess I should try and see how it goes.

Seven0fNine · 20/05/2017 08:40

Just marking my place but still feeling a bit nervous. Got my Bfp on Wednesday and now about 16dpo.
EDD - 25th Jan
Quite reassuring to read through the whole of the last thread and realise you guys were feeling exactly the same as I do now!

purplechoc · 20/05/2017 08:56

@coragreta if you ran before pregnancy then I think running is completely fine, just maybe don't go for your parkrun PB! I ran a lot for the last 18 months but got injured a month before conceiving and just haven't had the energy to go out and start from square 1 since finding out! The guidance I have says make sure you could still hold a conversation whilst exercising and if you get overheated, stop until you feel better. So I think enjoy parkrun at a leisurely pace!

Waitingonasmile · 20/05/2017 09:04

Coragreta I was also nervous about running and didn't do anything weeks 3 and 4 but now I'm back in the gym. I'm just running more slowly and taking breaks, but that's more for my own peace of mind than actually having to.

SummerHopin · 20/05/2017 09:57

Another morning another fear of no symptoms. Am now so scared something doesn't feel right-my boobs feel just as they did no tingling or soreness at all.
Am I just punishing myself? I can't stop thinking about it and it's so scary Sad

flyingsprocket · 20/05/2017 10:14

cora I ran through a previous pregnancy until I felt I couldn't be bothered! I cycled through my last pregnancy, right up til 40 weeks. I need it for my sanity! I think the advice is not to train to get fitter and try not to overheat. I'm hoping to continue riding this time but towing the toddler in the trailer will be quite hard I think!

I'm also going to continue my regular yoga class which is gentle, my teacher is trained in prenatal yoga & she said it's fine to keep going she'll just modify things for me.

I'd go bananas without exercise & im sure it helped me in later weeks & recovery afterwards.

AmandaP86x · 20/05/2017 10:33

I exercise a lot and carried on through my last pregnancy and had MMC. Always gives me the fear - my friend who lives in Canada they advise u don't exercise until after 12 weeks. I'll be taking that advice this time!

millsbynight · 20/05/2017 10:46

Exercise? What's that Confused Haven't done any cardio since before pregnant with DS almost 7 years ago.

I occasionally do yoga and pilates (on the reformer) and plan to do pregnancy yoga from about 16 weeks+

Hi ladies,
Do you mind if I join you? My due date is 26th Jan and I can't believe it! Keep checking my 2-3 weeks on the CB test as I feel like I'm imagining it as we have been trying for so long. I'm getting quite noticeable cramps on and off throughout the day, but to be honest I've had them from about 6DPO. Has anyone else had cramping? Some of it is really quite sharp, but no bleeding.
