Thanks @ndo4000 I'm going hoping for the best but expecting the worst, my tests were fairly faint anyway but have got lighter over the past 3 days

SummerHopin · 19/05/2017 16:09

Sorry @neavesa. Is this your first pregnancy?

ImBreakingBad · 19/05/2017 16:11

Neavesa I so hope everything goes ok Flowers. Fingers crossed for you.

I am so bloated its unbelievable. My belly is huge. I wouldn't be shocked if I was carrying a litter Grin

FromHackneyWithLove · 19/05/2017 16:37

@Neavesa oh love I really hope everything is OK in there!

Sooooooo just been on phone with GP... me and DH have to have blood tests and an early scan as we have accidentally conceived 4 weeks after leaving a country with Zika... where we got ravaged by mosquitoes... and DH has had one symptom on their check list since we got back. Risk is really low but can't be eliminated without checking. Gah.

Ruthcarr1990 · 19/05/2017 16:43

@rememberpurpleronnie I have tried putting ice on my tummy before I inject my self as told that may help but it doest!! All be worth it in the end. I have an early scan on Monday to make sure everything's ok. I'm praying it is xxx

DooWhaaDiddy · 19/05/2017 16:46

Neavesa im keeping everything crossed for you

Rosehyd2 · 19/05/2017 16:54

Thanks for creating a new thread. Is anyone else super tired by 3pm? All my energy has been zapped by this time every day.
No sickness yet just cramping (I'm 5w today).

star1980 · 19/05/2017 17:07

So sorry to hear that Neavesa - I have everything crossed that all is OK at your scan tomorrow.

coragreta · 19/05/2017 17:20

Neavesa. Hope you're ok.
Fromhackney I listened to a really interesting podcast about the dangers of zika. It was called science vs. Really interesting and I think (hope I remember correctly and don't accidentally send you into panic) that the dangers are quite small. The virus has been around a lot longer than we think and has been very hyped by the media. Hope you're ok and little one is too.

Maybebaby2 · 19/05/2017 17:29

Hope everything is ok neavesa xx

imbreaking what times your appointment on the 30th? I'm in at in at 10.15 and hoping the midwife will give me a bit of reassurance so I can stop worrying so much. Got a bit longer than you to wait for scan, mines not till 3rd July.... feels like forever away!

Usernamegone · 19/05/2017 17:38

Hope everything is ok neavesa x

Fattycowagain · 19/05/2017 17:43

Cramps and spotting here. So scared I'll have another miscarriage.

justmetwice · 19/05/2017 18:06

Is anyone getting nausea? I feel quite nauseous first thing in morning and then in the afternoons.

I am at 5/6 weeks... Seeing my GP next week to get referral etc. Hope it all goes well for all.

Ruthcarr1990 · 19/05/2017 18:11

@justmetwice yes!! I feel sick all the time. My poor partner has had to change his deodorant can't smell certain things as I'm running to the loo to be sick. I had really hand sickness with my daughter. I have tablets that go under my lip to help with the sickness xx

star1980 · 19/05/2017 18:25

fattycowagain, how far along are you? Never been pregnant before, but I know spotting\bleeding is very common in early pregnancy. My friend was 2 months gone before she realised she was pregnant as she had a two bleeds around the time her periods would have come. If you're worried, you should contact your GP and see if you can get scanned at an EPU maybe. Hang in there, really hope it's nothing. Flowers

justmetwice I felt mildly nauseas this morning for the first time and has come and gone all day. I'm 5 weeks. Time is going so slowly! Spoke to my GP this week who said to call back at 7 or 8 weeks if I'm still pregnant. Blimey.

Fattycowagain · 19/05/2017 18:31

star, I'm 6+2. I know spotting is normal, which is why I didn't worry when it started last time. But after that, it worries me a lot!
No EPU here and gp doesn't deal with pregnancy at all. I have a midwife appointment Tuesday anyway, so I'll try to hang on till then.

justmetwice · 19/05/2017 18:42

Today at work i would be speaking to someone and this wave just comes over me i have to stop talking and smile for a bit... Happened twice... Luckily with different people

Neavesa · 19/05/2017 18:46

@fattycowagain call your local midwives, I hadnt had my booking in appointment and called them yesterday because of cramps and spotting and they were the ones who arranged for me to have a scan tomorrow. Really hoping everything is ok with you 🌸

Waitingonasmile · 19/05/2017 18:53

Sorry for anyone having a worrying time! First trimester is definitely stressful.

I just want to eat everything in sight the last two days Blush. Not even hungry just greedy!

Fattycowagain · 19/05/2017 18:57

I have a scan on Tuesday anyway, so I'm trying to hang on. Maybe I'll ring tomorrow if there is more blood.

Eva30 · 19/05/2017 19:04

Thanks for new thread
star what a horrible thing for GPs to say "if you're still pregnant" Hmm

Totally agree, a day feel like a week! I'm 4+4 today.
I drive past a sewage works on the commute to work - wow, I noticed the difference this week. Might have to find alternative route!

Lenska999 · 19/05/2017 19:05

Hope things work out fattycow and neavesa, be thinking of you.

Thanks for the new thread mills Smile

FromHackneyWithLove · 19/05/2017 20:44

@coragreta thanks so much, I will maybe hunt that down! I am not worried about it really because I've seen the stats, I'd have to be incredibly unlucky to have zika. I'm glad the doc is taking it seriously though. Feel a bit like an idiotic teenager to have put myself in this position. We just never thought I would ever fall preg unwittingly after the insane amount of effort we had to put in last time!

@Fattycowagain I really hope all is well in there! X

Serendipper · 19/05/2017 20:51

I had terrible pain all down my left side earlier so went to epu and they got me in for an early scan right away thinking it might be ectopic. Scan showed a teeny tiny sac with a tadpole type thing inside and the faintest flicker of an early heartbeat all in the right place. She dated me a week behind where I thought I was, but did say there's a big margin as measurements are so small. But does give me an EDD of 18th Jan. I'm trying to be reassured but really wish I had been further along! Good luck to everyone else having early scans and scares x

sureitsgrand · 19/05/2017 21:07

Hi. I've literally just got my bfp today after a year of ttc. I'm in shock, for a variety of reasons, we had stopped trying this month! But here I am. Seems am due 30th January.
