Can't wait until we are all out the first trimester and hopefully feeling slightly more human for a few weeks at least.I'm dreading the heartburn starting later. I found it horrendous.

First midwifes appointment today !

Exciting! I'm envious, mines not until 10+4 😔

Hey,
Was wondering if I could join you ladies?
I am expecting DC#1 EDD 18.01.2017
We had a scan at 5.5 weeks and baby had a little heartbeat.
1st Midwife appointment booked for 15.06.2017 and nervous!
So far no major sickness, just some nausea and a sudden hatred for oranges!

I am having such a hormonal day today. I don't enjoy my job at the best of times but today seems to be awful. I don't know if my hormones are making me paranoid but I just feel like my boss is acting really weird with me and expecting too much of me. Told her I was pregnant around 2 weeks ago and to be honest she's not even asked me how I'm doing or anything. More interested in my work and meeting my targets, which I genuinely could not give a toss about at the minute as I'm too busy running to the toilet thinking I'm going to be sick.

Just feel like walking out!

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I know! I've booked a private scan for Saturday for piece of mind.

I had a gp appt first but she didn't make me do a test just took my word for it. She said she tells the hospital I need a scan but I had to book my midwife appt separately.

With my midwife appt so late, does anyone know if it means my scans will be later too?

Welcome to everyone new 😀 tiredness is getting out of hand. Went to bed at 6:30 yesterday and slept till 7:30 today. I hope to get some energy back soon.

Urgh, the tiredness. I'm already struggling to concentrate at work, and DH is getting grumpy that I want to go to bed at 9pm! He seems to have forgotten that tired is basically my default personality setting for the first 4 months 😩

@EekThreek I'm soooo tired too had to take half day off today to take my daughter to an appointment. Now at home on the couch!! It's bliss thinking pjs on and film then I can have a snooze lol xxx

Midwife appointment went really well!

Hi everyone, 9+2 here with baby number 1! EDD 9th Jan! Eeeeek! Very excited! :-) And really glad to have found this group with people at the same stage of pregnancy - haven't told any friends yet; just our families!

Woe is me post coming up:

Anyone else feeling very flat? (As well as sick!)

I've had 2 losses and I don't feel this one is going to be successful either, so much so that I'm not picturing having a baby at all.

I have my mw appt tomorrow, will be exactly 8 weeks, so hopefully I'll feel better after that if I'm able to talk it through. I also came off ADs to get pregnant, so I'm a bit worried my depression is rearing its head.

Anyway, sorry. What are we eating to stave off the nausea/sickness today? Peaches and nectarines seem to work for me. Also is anyone else really thirsty all the time? I drink gallons.

So have had my booking in and a private scan last week. All was fine with baby and measuring as I thought. Just had the 12w scan appointment through too..... am shattered but so busy with the business that early nights just aren't an option, the only time I get to work is when the toddler is in bed. Luckily have a couple of weeks off work though

Is anybody having the Down's syndrome test? I don't think I'd want to know

@ElsaMars we are here if u need to chat if your feeling down. I suffered really bad with depression so much so that I drove my partner away (luckily he came back lol).

We are all here to support one another!! Xxx

@ElsaMars yes, I feel very flat too. I suffer on and off with anxiety and depression, and at the moment I can't decide which is winning. I feel the weakest I have in a long time. I'm sure the hormones are playing their part, but it's helping just to limit my expectations to a day at a time. Hope you're ok.

Thanks for your kind posts. I'm also shouting at DH a lot, so feel crap about that too. I need to try eating better as I was low carb before but oh my God, bread and butter is winning!

Just had a burst of energy cleaned up thought I no I'll get all the ironing done chucked it all on the couch now can't be arsed lol. Xxx
