Anyone with a child already finding this harder 2nd time around? I suppose last time I didn't have to be up at 5 with a very active toddler but this is hard and I'm already tired at 8:30!

This is baby number 4 for me.... last was 7 years ago so it's all new.

@Gemaxo totally normal. I had to take time off work as I was crippled and bed bound with nausea.

@coragreta DS is 6 so a bit different but can't imagine feeling so rubbish and dealing with a toddler! Poor you x

coragreta I understand. My DS will be 2 in August and even when he gives me a sleep in I'm tired.

hannah they look amazing yum! DH just made me bacon egg and avocado sandwich he's really looking after me it's so sweet.

I'm entering the phase of being worried of mx I've been okay up until this morning with not worrying but my boobs are a little less sore and I don't seem to ramping up on the symptom front. Hope I'm just being irrational!

Wow mills thank you! Fab range of ideas there. I might spend this evening doing some online shopping! I slunk about in DP's hoodie for the whole bbq and accepted a glass of prosecco(!) to sip at. It was a bunch of colleagues so I think I'm safe for now!

I'm a bit jealous of all the early scans, would so love to be reassured by a heartbeat! I had an early mc last year but had nothing like the nausea I'm having this time. That alone should be enough to reassure me!

I've just ate a massive plate of mash and baked beans for dinner. Weird craving 

Still hungry now and keep thinking about a pack of mars bars in the fridge.

@robindeer I have an early scan booked for next Saturday, so excited/extremely nervous!

Does anyone know if it's safe to get your hair coloured during pregnancy? Is it best to wait until 12 weeks? Mine hasn't been done now since Christmas and it's getting out of hand!

@Hannah91x jealous of your pancakes! I got lazy and just had Nutella on toast then threw it up

Colouring your hair is fine so long as bleach isn't hitting the scalp. I get full head ashy blonde highlights on my really dark natural hair - hairdresser says no problem!

Blaming others who told me they are craving milkshakes!

@Hannah91x Most seem to reassure that it is OK as long as it's not spending time on the scalp, and the room is well ventilated (inhalation of chemicals is apparently the bigger problem). If you're going to a hairdresser, tell them this and you might be able to get an ammonia free dye. BUT you can get a cruelty-free, nearly chemical-free dye at Holland and Barrett called Naturtint. I did mine a couple of weeks ago and it was exactly the same as dying it with any other home kit (i.e. it's not like a henna dye), and it was a really good colour. It has faded faster than I would have expected but I think I didn't leave it on quite long enough as I didn't want it to be as dark a shade. Anyway, that's an alternative if you're worried about chemicals in pregnancy or would rather avoid chemicals in general.

I found this the baby's heartbeat today on a doppler. Never used a doppler before. It was super faint and my hb got in the way a few times but I managed to get a recording of it. It was a very lovely feeling to get it.

I'm 9 weeks 5 days.

Wow I didn't realise you could hear it so early! That's very reassuring, I'm on hols at the moment, got beeped in securing and had to stand in the scanner thingy, suddenly had a heart attack wondering if maybe I shouldn't have!? Worrying about things again now as I had my mc shortly after flying with pregnancy #1 /runs off to find a Doppler on Amazon 😂

I'm 7+5 today. Had daily nausea from 5.5weeks with some vomiting. Since Saturday, no nausea at all... can't hep but worry a bit. I maybe feel a bit gaggy, but not nausea. Had an uss at 6+4 and saw Heartbeat

Just bothered to read my letter from the hospital and I have my 12 week scan NEXT WEEK! I'll actually only be 11+4 by then but really excited I only have to wait till next week!

@Mummyme87 it's so worrying isn't it?! Annoyed when we have nausea and petrified when we don't! Symptoms come and go, try not to worry too much the good news is you've seen a heartbeat!
