OK i took this when I was 4 weeks and 1 day pregnant.

So I reckon either we both have twins or this is a perfectly normal test result for about that time.

I'm going with the latter 😄

I feel so stressed I'll not be surprised if I loose this baby, boobs not as tender and getting cramps

Hi everyone. Had my scan yesterday all is well little bean floating away and heartbeat flickering! Was amazing to see!!

Edd confirmed now as 9th January! Woohoo!! Xx

Doo wah don't fret I felt exactly the same but all was fine. I lost all symptoms boobs were totallly normal and didn't feel anything at all. I think symptoms can just come and go. Have you got a scan booked?

@SummerHopin, I hardly have any symptoms either which was worrying me too! I have a scan on Saturday when I should be 6+2 minimum but potentially 3/4 days further.

@Thingymaboob l think some brown spotting can be normal. You could always ring the midwife/EPU for some reassurance though. A friend had quite a lot of spotting around 6 weeks and all was well but she did have a scan to double check

I thought I was 8+1 going on LMP date but I ovulated basically a week late so am back to 7! I feel like I've been pregnant forever so when I say 7 weeks it sounds like it should be more!!

@SummerHopin I have a reassurance scan when I'll hopefully be 6+5. Feel quite crampy today, I'm 5+3

Thingymabob I had this is in my first pregnancy and was reassured it is very common. Everything worked out fine, and I was told it is old blood if brown.

I've actually had a bit of spotting yesterday and today, red and peachy coloured but (TMI ) it's when I strain for a bowel movement (I am constipated) and from extensive googling it appears this too is very common given how close everything in there is!

Try not to worry too much, but give epu a call and I'm sure they'll put your mind at rest. I'm trying to put it out of my mind, and do have a scan tomorrow that has been booked for a while which will hopefully reassure me

Thank you for your replies. I have had a miscarriage before that started off with brown spotting, so I do feel really worried. I guess last time it happened was about 5.5 weeks and nothing was ever seen on a scan. This time, I've seen a little bean with a heartbeat and I've got pregnancy symptoms. Glad I'm being scanned tomorrow. All the best for your scan @itsgoingtoofast. You seem really positive

I'm so sorry things started this way for you before, no wonder you are so worried. I really hope all is ok this time.

I am trying my best to be positive, but having had a MMC in the past I'd be lying if I said I wasn't terrified really. I'm just trying to tell myself that more likely than not all will be ok. Stops me from sending myself mad!

Please may I join? I've been following for a while but been too nervous to join as have had 2 previous miscarriages in the last 18 months. I am lucky enough to also have a 4 year old. I had some brown bleeding the last few days so had an early scan in epu today where I saw a blob with a heartbeat 😀 Measuring 6+6. Am trying to stay positive that this pregnancy will progress

@Bringmethechips welcome. You've been having some brown bleeding too eh? You're in good company. I'm petrified of another MC. Glad your scan went well. Are you still brown bleeding now? You are roughly same gestation as me. What did the epu say was the likely cause?

I had brown spotting with my first pregnancy and it turned out fine x

My 2 previous miscarriages started with brown bleeding but we never got to the point of seeing a heartbeat so very relieved today, though I'm sure the worry will never go away!
They saw an ovarian cyst and an endometrioma that they will monitor. No real cause for the bleeding given .
It's such a worrying time isn't it?!

Hi all, bit late but checking in on the new thread. Had a scan last week at the EPU as was worried about spotting and all was good. Bean was in the right place with heartbeat and measuring 7 weeks! Apparently spotting is not normal but common.
Have my booking in appointment on Friday which is exciting

feel more positive today, literally got my 3+

Also, H came back last night, lots of talking, He said he loves me and wants us to work....he's been stressed about money, and the baby was a shock and he kind of freaked out. He would have been back sooner but me being hormonal told him to say away. I guess I'll see what pans out

Oh DooWhaaDiddy that's good news on 2 accounts! It must be so stressful for you with that going on, no wonder you're feeling low about the pregnancy; but the 3+ is reassuring isn't it!

It's just another perfectly gorgeous day here in NI, and I have the day off! I might treat myself to a dog-free trip to the beach (he loves it, but he's very hard work at the beach and pulls constantly on the leadKids! Other dogs! Frisbees and balls! Birds!and I don't want him to jerk around and risk hurting my abdomen). Might invite the in-laws instead! I feel like I need a break from this first-trimester anxiety.

I think I'm probably right on the other end of the scale as my due date (based on ovulation) is right at the end of the month. Only 4 + 2 at the moment. Booked my 8 week scan already though privately, I prefer one around then.

Just trying to keep as busy as possible which isn't too difficult with a toddler.
