Ah peachi yes, I can imagine you can't think of much worse when you are feeling sickly! I hadn't realised it was so early in the season. I've never been to download!! I'm hoping to check out some of the smaller family festivals in the next few years, I've heard great things but struggle to convince DP to go.. think he will be more amenable in the future Grin

Good luck telling your new employer macs. Hope it goes well. Congrats on your extra scan at the hospital - it's crazy how much they move around already hey! I went to glasto too a few years ago and loved it. We are just doing some local festivals this year.

That sounds a lovely weekend Mary. I have some work to do today then off to a BBQ later and a baby shower tomorrow.

Glad you got some more sleep Carlotta. Hope you enjoy the food festival today.

I live in the same region as download but the music is a little heavy for me. We are off to a local festival in a couple of weeks to celebrate my birthday. X

Our toddler has woken screaming between 11 and 12 the last three nights in a row. It's always when I'm just getting into a deep sleep and I wake up with my heart pounding.
Went running into her last night and she said, It's only a dream mummy don't worry!
Took me an hour to go back to sleep then I was wide awake at 5.50 needing a pee Envy

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 03/06/2017 08:53

I LOVE Download but it's probably not going to be a possibility for a few years wth a little one in tow! 🙉✊️🤘

But Glastonbury 2019 sounds like an awesome meet-up/reunion, girls! Let's do it!

@macsworth Good luck with work!

BeeMama2017 · 03/06/2017 09:01

Hello lovelies apologies for not posting recently, I've been so busy with wedding planning for next weekend..eek!

We had our scan on Thursday and oh my god isn't it the most magical thing seeing that little heartbeat?! He/she was bigger than expected putting me at 13 weeks so my due date has changed to the 4th Dec!

It all feels real now!

How is everyone doing with symptoms etc? Fingers crossed as we move into the second trimester all the vomming stops!

Congrats bee that's a fabulous picture! I hope wedding planning is going well and you have a brilliant day next week xx

Carley27 · 03/06/2017 09:21

11 weeks today ☺️🎉 so much I should be doing this weekend but I feel like it's going to be a lazy one ..

Lovely scan pic BeeMama 😀

Hope you can get a nap today Lapin!

Hi Lilly, hope you manage to get an earlier scan date, seems unfair having to wait so long and be too late for NT test.

glastogal · 03/06/2017 09:48

Aww @BeeMama2017 that's a lovely pic! Congrats and good luck for the last week of wedding prep 🎉

Right Grin you lot are NOT going to distract me today.

I'm going to finish my presentation and clean out the crap drawers DH has created before I go on mumsnet again 😂 ...

ScotsLamb · 03/06/2017 10:35

Home from school trip at 11pm last night to discover the house covered in banners and balloons for my 30th birthday which was on Tuesday.
Lots of lovely presents to open and wonderful to see my partner.
Trip was fantastic even with morning and evening sickness. So sad I won't be doing it next year but so happy it will be for an amazing reason.
Scan tomorrow. Terrified and excited in equal measures.

ScotsLamb · 03/06/2017 10:36

See you in 5 minutes Zaber 😜

Carley27 · 03/06/2017 11:13

Aww that's lovely scots, happy 30th! Good luck for the scan tomorrow :)

Lillygolightly · 03/06/2017 11:52

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome 😊

Bee congratulations, what a lovely scan pic ❤️

Macsworth I have considered a private scan, but didn't know if private scans tested for NT etc as I thought they were mostly reassurance or gender scans etc. I'll have to look into it properly as I think this wait is going to drive me mad 😡🙄

Scots Happy birthday 🎉 hope you have a lovely day! Good luck for your scan tomorrow.

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 03/06/2017 14:45

Happy birthday @ScotsLamb and good luck tomorrow!

@Lillygolightly Yes, private scans do NT also but you have to specifically book a scan for that purpose, so diagnostic rather than "comfort" type checks.

ScotsLamb · 03/06/2017 15:15

Thanks everyone. Kind of treating myself today. Hair done and now going to get nails done. Also booked in for bikini wax as it's getting ridiculous. Not sure if I will regret it!!!

TootsyBella84 · 03/06/2017 15:25

12 weeks today! And my new meds seem to be working wonders, I celebrated with a Chinese for tea last night and leftovers for lunch today 🙊 it was wonderful eating something delicious without having to see it again coming back up 😂 I figured I best make the most of it incase these stop working eventually too!
Dating scan on Tuesday afternoon. I'm so paranoid that something has gone wrong still, the other week I was considering booking a private scan but it seems to have come around quickly. At least I've only a few more days to wait.

Enjoy your weekend ladies x

Lixon · 03/06/2017 15:31

Happy birthday scotslamb! Sounds like an amazing if exhausting week.. I hope you get lots of sleep amid celebrations this weekend.

Congratulations BeeMama, lovely scan! Good luck for next weekend, hope all your final planning goes smoothly 🙂

Lilly I had a private NT and other scan as part of my harmony test, it was much more detailed than the NHS equivalent and I'm glad we had both. Even got the freaky 3D pic attached which I wasn't expecting!! Would very much recommend the fetal medicine centre if you're around London.

We had our harmony and blood test results back yesterday. All as low risk as possible and we're having a little boy. The scan was so much nicer than my NHS one but still came away feeling massively anxious about what else will go wrong now. Thank you for for your kind words Zaber too. Had some stern talking to from a few good friends and am seeing an NHS anxiety consultant this week as well as hopefully a new private therapist so hopefully I can conquer my anxiety and need for control and go without the CVS..

Brens13 · 03/06/2017 15:46

Wow congratulations on all the good news lixon you must be feeling much better Smile

Zaberwocky · 03/06/2017 20:34

Oh Lixon that's lovely news!

Tootsy is it the cyclizine you're on now? I really hope they work for you. I'm not going to lie, I think I got around three days sick free with mine!

Scots I hope your fanjo isn't too sore! I know what you mean though, I swear, I could shave twice a day.

Zaberwocky · 03/06/2017 20:35

I know it's just ligament pain and stretching Hmm but my god it all aches. I've gone to bed to try to get comfortable!

Royalsteph · 03/06/2017 20:36

2 weddings in 2 days with 6 hours driving in between then 7 hours driving tomorrow. I'm knackered bump is well and truly showing through my dresses. 12+5, 4 days until scan.

ScotsLamb · 03/06/2017 20:57

Wax was actually pretty pain free. Just as it usually is. No changes from non pregnancy.
Got my hair cut and nails done too. Lovely day of pampering and now sitting down with a 0% Heineken. Actually very very good. Could easily replace my usual beer.

Zaberwocky · 03/06/2017 21:30

Steph will you be trying to strategically place yourself behind centerpieces, handbags and fruitbowls? Hope the dresses aren't so tight their uncomfortable.

Scots I was oddly fearful of waxing in pregnancy being a bit like doing that day before your period 😂 Good to know it's still pain free-ish. Sounds like you had a lovely day of pampering!

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 03/06/2017 22:42

Congrats @Lixon 😀 cool pic
