Tesco do freezable watermelon lollies. Basically just a big piece of watermelon with a lolly stick through it, like an ice lolly (you could make your own). This will keep me going through the summer months. I'm currently eating one in bed as I'm too hot to sleep.

mamalovesviolet · 25/05/2017 23:49

Monty that sounds yum! I'm a bit addicted to Tesco finest orange lollies. So nice!

Mrsbluebell17 · 26/05/2017 02:43

I also had a strawberry split earlier to cook me down. Great minds!

I'm wide awake again Sad

TipTop333 · 26/05/2017 07:07

I bought a box of mini milks yesterday. I predict they will all be gone by Sunday.

Mrsbluebell17 · 26/05/2017 07:25

Ooooooh mini milks are a great shout!

So I think I managed to sleep about 5 hours in the end. Not bad but I already feel shattered so I can imagine come lunchtime I'll be feeling it. I'm out for dinner with friends tonight too (who don't know I'm pregnant) so I need to find some energy.

How's everyone's Friday looking?

CarlottaJo · 26/05/2017 07:31

Fruit Pastille lollies for me!

Brens13 · 26/05/2017 07:41

From my desk in my office Friday looks beautiful - blue skies and bright sunshine already - the thought of just having to sit inside and stare at it all day makes me feel Sad

Mrsbluebell17 · 26/05/2017 07:45

I know Brens and typically the weather doesn't look as nice for the weekend Sad

Brens13 · 26/05/2017 08:08

No, sadly the rain seems to be coming sooner each time I look at the weather. I'll just have to eat at least 4 ice creams this evening to make up for it! Grin

feelingcalledlove · 26/05/2017 08:31

Carlotta I'm also addicted the Fruit Pastille lollies... It's becoming a problem Smile

The watermelon ones sound amazing Monty

Hi all - sorry I've been absent recently, seemed to hit a wall of tiredness!

9+6 today, looking forward to finally reaching double digits tomorrow (although crazy to think that will be 1/4 of the way there!).

There's been so many lovely scans recently! Congratulations to everyone who's had good news and seen their little babies wriggling about :)

There aren't any NCT courses in my area but will be going to NHS ones from 28 weeks - anyone got any experience of these? There are apparently lots of December babies due in my area so will hopefully meet some mum-friends.

I will be going for a pint (of water!) before my next scan..I had an ultrasound to check for cysts last year and followed the instructions (1.5L I think) and was in a lot of discomfort in the waiting room Blush had to let a little bit out three times (stopping mid stream is bloody hard!) and then still got told I won the prize for fullest bladder of the day Hmm had to go and let most of it out as was too full.

So for my early scan I 'only' had a litre and again was too full and had to go and empty. Pint next time!

Anyone got any nice plans for the weekend?

Brens13 · 26/05/2017 10:24

Shock carley I've never thought of 10 weeks being 1/4 of the way through! lol. Wow that speeds it all up a bit in my head lol.

Peachi82 · 26/05/2017 11:53

Hi :-)
Feeling a little bit better today, at least mood-wise. Just ate a whole bowl of blueberries!!
Don't have any plans for the weekend, my boyfriend is working Sat and Mon, so I'll probably just sleep and rest and be lazy in general.

Met the CEO just before on the stairs and he said Hi, looked in my face and then at my belly :-o I really hope I was just imagining this!!!! I'm not yet ready to tell them and I don't think you should see anything at 9+4 anyway.... Far too early.

Chamonix1 · 26/05/2017 13:19

Scan went great. Heart flickering away; baby waving and kept putting his/her hands to their face and wriggling it's little legs.
EDD 1 Dec :)

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 26/05/2017 13:32

So cool @Chamonix1 😄 glad scan was good

MontyPants · 26/05/2017 13:45

Can I also recommend McDonald's strawberry frozen lemonade? It is probably full of sugar but tastes amazing 😋 I'm still put off by savoury foods apart from white carbs. So sugary stuff and potatoes for me. Just trying to swap the sweets/chocolate for fruit.

MontyPants · 26/05/2017 13:47

Ahhhh Chamonix that's a properly lovely scan. You can really see baby's face! We're not quite due date buddies any more, you're 1 day ahead! I have a feeling we might get November babies

Zaberwocky · 26/05/2017 14:48

Sorry I've not been around much the last few days! I think the sickness just reached a point where it was too exhausting to think about anything other than well ... puking and drinking!

So many lovely scan pictures Smile will upload mine later. Still the same due date, 01/12. Baby was no cooperative at all for the measurements!

Currently heading back down south with MIL in the back seat. Have only nearly told her to fark off 42 times Grin

Zaberwocky · 26/05/2017 14:49

Oh. And we're announcing this weekend. Not looking forward to it in the slightest.

dirtygrubbybikerchick · 26/05/2017 14:57

Good luck @Zaberwocky !

Alpanini · 26/05/2017 15:09

Am ten weeks today. Felt almost constantly sick from 6 weeks (no vomming though) but now feel almost normal, apart from hurty boobs. Anyone else feeling less sick? 3 weeks till scan, a long time to wait :(

Chamonix1 · 26/05/2017 15:19

We are telling people this weekend too. Have got dd "I'm going to be a big sister" t- shirt so I don't have to do the "so, we have some news" talk. Family BBQ tomorrow so should get most of them out the way.
Good luck Zabe Smile

Chamonix1 · 26/05/2017 15:20

Alpan
My symptoms were similar, 10 weeks I thought my sickness was gone came back at about 11. They do seem to come and go.

Alpanini · 26/05/2017 15:22

thanks Cham!

Beardy1 · 26/05/2017 15:23

alpinini I had a similar experience to cham. Around 9/10 weeks things seemed to get loads better and then week 11 has been awful in the evenings. Bask in these times I say.
