Yet another new thread, because just like all the remaining posters the old one is about to go pop.

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 16/03/2007 20:46

Excellent new sazzy, glad you are both safe and well

Mossie · 16/03/2007 21:10

Oh congrats Sazzy looking forward to hearing all about it!

Right off to put my carrots on... see you all tomorrow!

divastrop · 16/03/2007 21:15

congrats to sazzy,evenhope,lucielu and boo

how many are left now??

kitty-is your dd3 gentle and angelic?i forgot the joys of having 2 babies close together..15 month olds who are used to play fighting with a 3.5 year old brother dont really understand the words 'gentle' and 'only a baby'

i think it should be illegal for men to be in a mood for no good reason.i think only us women should have that privalege as we are the ones who have to bear their offspring.i think 9 months of hormones which have been bubbling away are getting ready to explode and miss assertive and reasonable-better-think-of-my-blood-pressure is going to once more be taken over by miss stroppy diva who takes no crap

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 16/03/2007 22:13

Diva, dd3 is a very lovely little girl. However, as you point out she is used to fighting her corner and being physically assulted in the name of play by dd2!!! .
So I am thinking of ways to protect the baby from her.
I reckon I'm going put the travel cot up in the sitting room. It won't stop dd2 from getting in but hopefully the baby won't end up mauled to death. What you you doing to protect Elsie? It seemed more managable when I only had ds1 and s2 who were a year apart

muppethasakitten · 16/03/2007 22:13

Quick post as Samuel is piping up in next room for feed - but... congratulations to Boo, evenhope, lucielu, sazzy

We all await your birth stories and piccies!

sazzy - love the name Elliot - we nearly picked it too!

Jay - you sound like you're making moves in the right direction!

Piffle - get that lawnmower back out and carry it around the house for a while.

Mossy... did the carrots fit?

eidsvold · 16/03/2007 22:22

congrats to Boo, evenhope, sazzy and Lucy.

Wow - got to bed for the night and wake up to four new babes!! Glad to hear all is well.

Dh had left his phone in his office while he went off to some very important workshop!! He did take it with him on Fri and put it on silent.

think nothing is going to happen until my c-section next Fri.

DollyPopsOut · 16/03/2007 22:52

Well done Booboo, Sazzy, Evenhope and Lucielu! How lovely to have 4 babies in a day. MistieK was having her section today too, so no doubt we'll have more good news in the next few days.

Still shattered and not feeling great so am off to bed. See you in the morning, we happy few who are left waiting......

Jaysecond · 17/03/2007 04:01

anyone about?

rosylonginglily · 17/03/2007 06:55

Wow Evenhope, Booboo, Sazzy and Lucielu CONGRATULATIONS!!!

And congratulations to me too of course, I'm still as high as a kite

I think he's called Hassan, dh wouldn't go for Ismail, that's what half his village are called apparently.

Gas and air rocks man
Couldn't face the waterbirth but had fun with the big ball, that was great bouncing on that and listening to my radio with headphones while dh snored in the chair. It was great to have him there but not actually have to talk to him Ideal!

Then of course I exploded again, baby came in two contractions with the waters and that bit was sore, (so had to howl.) Then had a big giant needle and thread which looked like rope. Cor that stitch bloody hurt!

Got home yesterday evening and went to bed last night lying on my tummy, (bliss)

The children are all totally besotted and Hassan is the most chilled out, sleepy and sweet wee baby.

I'm on cloud number nine

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 17/03/2007 07:38

That's great Rosy, so. so pleased for. I'm very that the birth is all over or you. Hassan is a great name. Does he look like any of you others?

Egypt · 17/03/2007 07:57

sorry to hijack - your pal posted this this morning......jaysecond

TheBlonde · 17/03/2007 08:05

Egypt - thanks for letting us know
Looks like Jay will be having her LO very soon or may have already done so

Rosy - many congrats

eidsvold · 17/03/2007 08:25

congrats Rosy

Dh and I managed to get out to the movies and lunch today whilst some friends came and looked after the dds.

My aunt also came over bearing gifts - some gorgeous babygro sets - blankets, hats etc and a lovely summery babygro. She also bought us a baby sleeper thingy.... will see if I can find a link to show you - pretty cool thingy.

sorta like this but not as big and more open with more netting

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 17/03/2007 08:53

That looks good Eids, is it meant to keep the other children out?

Good luck to Jay. There are such a lot of babies coming now!!

LunarSea · 17/03/2007 09:04

Wow - big rush of babies today! Congratulations all.

Nothing much happening here - Thursday's run of regular BH's was obviously just another of those "ha fooled you" moments because they've all died down again now.

OP posts:
kittywaitsfornumber6 · 17/03/2007 09:14

Lunar, you're doing better than me! I'm due before you and haven't had any runs of bh's like I usually do by this stage. There are no indicators whatsoever that things are limbering up.
I'm beginning to think that this baby is going to be horrifically late

muppethasakitten · 17/03/2007 09:25

Great to see you're back safe and sound Rosy! Can't wait to see photo of Hassan - how much quicker was the labour than your last one?

Jay - you must be on your way! So sorry no-on from this thread was up to talk to you in the early hours... looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kitty - your baby is obviously far to comfy in your womb!

Things are certainly hotting up on the delivery stakes... keep 'em coming thick and fast!

eidsvold · 17/03/2007 09:29

it could keep them out or at least from touching the babe - although it is collapsible so children could lay on it iyswim. I like the fact it is cover in mossie netting so we can all sit out on the back deck and babes is cool but protected from mossies that are bad at the moment.

Chocolatepenny · 17/03/2007 09:43

A Avalanche of babies, its getting quite in here...still feeling depressed after Bad MW experience, convinced its gonna be weeks now!
Right off into town to buy DH Bday present, he's just gonna have to like what he gets this year as shopping is physical hell at the mo.
Will cheer up and be back on later.

Mossie · 17/03/2007 09:43

Morning all!

It's dh's 29th today as well as St Patrick's ... this would usually mean us going off into Liverpool for one massive all day / night session, but today we're getting in a takeaway and DVDs instead!

Diva, "I think it should be illegal for men to be in a mood for no good reason" I agree with you 200% where can I sign the petition?!

Oh Muppet [groan emoticon] "did they fit" every time my Mum used to ask my Dad to put the kettle on he would say "why, do you think it will suit me?" I have told dh he will have to start coming up with things like this to say now he is soon to be a Dad!!

Eids I have told my dh he has to take his phone everywhere even meetings and he has made me promise therefore that I won't phone him unless I am definitely in labour! Sounds like you had some lovely gifts from your Auntie. Although I'm not so sure about "covered in mossie netting"!

Dolly hope you are feeling better soon you have not been so well for a while now, lots of {{{hugs}}} for you.

Rosy glad to have you back, I like the name Hassan, sounds like you had quite a good birth experience too, hope your stitch heals quickly.

Egypt thanks for letting us know well good luck to Jay she probably has her baby by now!!

Kitty it'll be you and me here at the end... although there is absolutely no sign from Bertie that he wants to make an appearance, still he isn't due yet and you've not long 'til your EDD so I guess it is frustrating for you.

Right off to make some bacon butties, have a bath then walk the dogs and then the day's celebrations can kick off!

Piffle · 17/03/2007 09:44

Terrific news from Sazzy (much respect at getting the t'internet thing working at hospital - it always was beyond me)
hope the section heals ok and you're not too sore, gorgeous names btw, Elliott is such a cool dude name.
Hope you get home and you can adore your little fellow in your own rooms

Jays sounds likes she is popping. Madhide will be next I reckon.
I woke at 1.10 with mega contraction, very painful, had another 10 minutes later then another.
Then it stopped
ARRRGHHH

Mossie · 17/03/2007 09:46

X posts chocolatepenny sorry about your crappy mw

Hope you manage to get some good prezzies for your dh, it is a nightmare shopping atm ikwym.

Piffle how annoying to get contractions for nowt, hope something starts up for you soon.

Right these butties won't make themselves!

Mossie · 17/03/2007 09:47

Can't remember if I said congrats to Sazzy or not!!

So if I didn't, congratulations, and I too love the name Elliott!

Jaysecond · 17/03/2007 09:51

Back from hospital only three cms and contractions every 10 mins now, but still only early stages. They wanted me to hang around there but as i am only 5 mins away i siad i was going home. Am most pissed off but i guess these things happen. Will keep u posted..... thanks to Eygpt bless her for updating you, seemed like i picked a night when everyone was getting some sleep!! Hope you all have better days than how mine has started. xx

Egypt · 17/03/2007 10:25
