Yet another new thread, because just like all the remaining posters the old one is about to go pop.

hey, popped by to wish mossie a really good labour tomorrow, (you are being induced arent you!?) fingers crossed it all goes swimmingly for you.

Still thinking of runningal, whats your story? are you being induced? how over are you?

We should set up a stats thread for the birthdates, weights and names etc! only i cant do it, as i am crap......

LunarSea · 09/04/2007 20:13

Good luck for tomorrow Mossie (if Bertie doesn't beat you too it and decide to arrive overnight just when he'd got used to the idea of inducion).

Nothing from Runningal since yesterday lunchtime - so it looks like it's action stations on that front too.

Come on girls - only about 70 messages to go before this thread is full!

Congratulations Kitty, that's fantastic news!

Thanks for thinking of me ladies. I went into hospital at 8pm last night - I was 5 cm dilated by then. Had an epidural around 9pm (what a relief!!) and baby Oliver arrived just before midnight on easter sunday weighing 7lb 12oz. I tore a bit, so am quite sore now, but elated with baby who is feeding like a trooper.

Good luck mossie - I'm thinking of you!

Jaysecond · 09/04/2007 21:04

Mossie · 10/04/2007 09:50

Runningal, big congratulations to you, hope you get time soon to post some photos of little Oliver!!

Ladies, thanks for the vibes. This little chappie is showing no sign of coming out on his own, I'm going to the hosi at half past twelve for another sweep and an internal, if that doesn't do anything I can be induced at seven thirty that night, unless there is an emergency in which case they'll want to induce me immediately.

I have had a lot of time to think about this over the last few days and have had a lot of good advice on here, and I think that I will go ahead with it tonight.

Never mind dh's holiday, but I've already "lost" another two weeks of my maternity leave, and as I'm the one who is going to be primarily looking after him, I want as long off with him as possible. Also I just would like to meet him now, I feel more like he's four weeks' overdue in a way, because they tell you he can come any time from thirty eight weeks, iyswim.

Although I reserve my right to be fickle and change my mind again after my exam today!!!

If they don't keep me in after dinner time, I'll pop back here to let you know how the exam went.

LunarSea · 10/04/2007 10:09

Congratulations Runningal - and love the name (ds1 is an Oliver too).

Woah there girls!!

Don't log on for a day and there's only 1 left in the bed!!

Massive congrats to Kitty and runningal!

Kitty at your quick labour! Still you're such a dab hand at it all now! Was it filmed again??

Runningal - love the name Oliver too... epidurals are great aren't they!!

Mossy - best of luck... you've still got quite a few hours left to go b4 tonight so you just never know

There's a delivery info stats thing on the post natal thread now... so Kitty and runningal - get yourselves over there and stick yourselves on!

Keep us posted Mossy!!

CallieNewMum · 10/04/2007 22:10

Congratulations to Kitty and Runningal - what an Easter Sunday for you both.

GOOD LUCK Mossie, you and I are the top and tail of this thread. Diva you were right, Jordi was three months on Sunday. Oh my god - I'm halfway through my ordinary mat leave. Can't believe it. Not that I plan to go back to work after six months but still.

muppethasakitten · 11/04/2007 08:53

Dolly? God, i hate this waiting malarkey... keep wondering if Mossy is ok... surely they wont let her go on too long?... although it could still be less than 12 hours since they induced her couldnt it? Plus they may not have gone straight to the drip... Diva... you know how all that works with pessaries etc don't you?

lulumama · 11/04/2007 09:04

had a text from mossie at 6.45 am, but i had left my phone in the bathroom so didn;t hear it ! she was contracting every 5 minutes and waiting for a VE...tired but positive..said she would try to keep me posted, but i hope she will be too busy pushing bertie out !

LaidbackinEngland · 11/04/2007 09:19
