Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

DoctorDonnaNoble I messaged you on the previous thread regarding your running! Well done for sticking with it! I'm a runner, too. Next month I have a 5 miler, two 10 milers and a half marathon to complete. At the moment (while I have no nausea) I'm determined to complete. That said, I'm only 6 weeks today, A lot can change in a couple of weeks and if I have nausea as bad as I had it last time, it simply won't happen.
Luckily, I'm still losing weight, sensibly. Helped enormously by my complete lack of appetite :)

Angielka · 24/04/2017 20:17

Thanks for the spreadsheet tootsy and OMG at those food pics tiptop!

I had spag bol this evening but have been eating all day and I still feel like i could keep going. Made my girls some choc chip muffins yesterday and they are calling my name. Scan tomorrow. I'm not in the UK 🇬🇧 and the system is a bit different here, but my doctor is lovely and since I had a mc last year booked me in for a scan tomorrow and then again at 12 weeks. Bit nervous because of the spotting yesterday but still throwing up so hoping it wasn't significant Confused

MaryShelley1818 · 24/04/2017 20:18

Mmmm lemon sorbet!!

I've got rid of my gel nails and letting my hair dye grow out - along with the greys!! I'm going to look like someone who lives in the woods by December! Lol!

BirdBrain85 · 24/04/2017 20:19

Loving the new thread name!

I've added myself to the spreadsheet (I think). Great to be able to see everyone's dates Smile

Not felt too bad today, but I did come in from work and have a two hour sleep on the sofa so I think that's helped. Still been having to eat a lot to stave off nausea, and I've already put on a few pounds. Not so happy about that but I guess I better get used to it!

Annie1290 · 24/04/2017 20:42

I just had a Mcdonalds and its was SOOO GOOOD.

BeeMama2017 · 24/04/2017 20:48

Guys.. today I managed to eat some chocolate!!! First time in 2weeks thanks to the most horrendous nausea which seems to be getting a bit better now I'm in my 7th week.

Congrats on your fitting @battenburg! I've already had my first one and I'm worried that by the time I get to the second I'll have put on too much weight! I swear I'm showing already but that could be my diet of chips and cheese for the last 2 weeks Grin

Peachi82 · 24/04/2017 20:51

Just saying a quick hello :-)
My due date will be the 25th of December, I tested positive a week ago...
It's my first one and I'm just constantly worried that it'll go wrong. Checking my panties whenever I need a wee (often), but no sign of blood. But with every little cramp (and there are loads), I start worrying.
Staying at my mum and dad's at the moment, already told my mum, she was over the moon :-D

To contribute to the thread title, when I tested positive, I bought additional vitamins to the folic acid, because I felt so sorry for the baby, because in its short life, it lived of pizza, pot noodle, microwave curry and McDonald's only :-o I feel like a really bad mum.

Oysterbabe · 24/04/2017 21:03

Spreadsheet is filling up nicely. Nice to see plenty of over 30s to keep me company so I don't feel like an old crone.

TootsyBella84 · 24/04/2017 21:06

Welcome Peachi. Try and not feel too guilty. Today my food intake has consisted of rich tea biscuits and some curly fries at tea time 🙈

GadgetgirlUk · 24/04/2017 21:14

Yum to all the food, just had proper chip shop chips tonight, was lush! Added my info to the spreadsheet (hope it saved!)

isitwinetimeyet16 · 24/04/2017 21:34

Hi everyone! Just checking in on new thread. I had sliders for tea - yum!

MummyHenman2be · 24/04/2017 21:41

@SushiNushi I'll be 10+5 at our booking in appointment. Is that a bit late so you think? Should I get it to be earlier?

We're having a scan on Sunday as we just couldn't wait until 12 weeks to see our little one.

Hubby is being amazing. Came home from walking football and took over the cooking of dinner as I'd had to sit down whilst chopping from the nausea. Thought I'd got away with it today to..... Confused

On the plus side, we managed to hide me not drinking at our party on Saturday night pretty well! Don't think anyone noticed! Even though I wanted to shout it out to the world!!!

Je11yBe4n · 24/04/2017 21:46

Peachi during my first pregnancy I survived on Coca Cola, salted pretzels and those bacon flavour crisps. For MONTHS!
I could eat meat, but anything else would make me vomit!
Just eat what you can, when you can.
This time around I've lost my appetite but don't have any nausea. So I get hungry at the right times but can't eat much!

Mumoftheark · 24/04/2017 21:47

Lol @looby1304 that's exactly what happened when I told my boss I was pregnant with my first 🙈 hope it went ok in the end.

I've just added myself to the spreadsheet.
Wondering now if when I get a scan if my due date changes I'll end up with a jan date (currently 28th by period). I could have a 2017 or 2018 baby lol

I'm 4+5 weeks and today my boobs are starting to feel a little fuller - which after breastfeeding DC1&2 until they were 2 is quite nice lol. No sickness, or food aversions yet, just really short of breath and complete baby brain. Slurring my words and sound slightly drunk lol.

Food today:
Breakfast: 2 x toast with peanut butter & banana
Lunch: 1 x pitta bread filled with Philadelphia tuna cucumber tomatoes and edamame beans
(Followed by birthday cake that I stole from my sons party bag he got yesterday and told him when he came home from school it went old)🙈
Dinner: chicken nuggets and chips and a massive salad. Had my sons friend over so ate kiddie food with them so save cooking twice.
Snack tonight: peanuts & raisins

Hungry again now so might make another pitta the same as above.

I now have a GP appointment for May 4th. Feels so long away so get things going.

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 24/04/2017 21:47

@TootsyBella84 well that's a fantastic question 😂 I found out last Saturday the 15th and my CB said 1-2 weeks then..SO I've no idea. LMP is unreliable as it often disappears for six months then comes in 42 hour attacks..🙄

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 24/04/2017 22:03

@TootsyBella84
Can you add me to the sheet? For some reason I can't do it.
Seven weeks today!
Age:25 (26 in July)
EDD:11th December
Midwife appt: 18th May
Scan: not booked yet
Location: Oxfordshire

glitteryvibes · 24/04/2017 22:07

So hungry!!! But half the time I eat it stops the nausea and the other half I can't finish due to feeling it's just about to repeat itself and then I feel crap for a few hours and I can never tell which one it will be. But all this talk of food means I'm going to have to find something to eat in this house before bed!

MmmAsparagus · 24/04/2017 22:43

I've also been doing OPKs as the POAS obsession is real

I've added myself to the bottom of the spreadsheet but I've noticed everyone else's dates go in order 🙈 I'm terrible with excel so hopefully someone kind will be able to slot me in where I need to be Blush

Nausea was bad today, but mine only comes & goes in waves - & the dry mouth never quenched by any drink... ergh. Woke up this morning with nipples of fire & they are still here this evening. Still, I wouldn't change it; I must be mad!

I'm agreeing with the hunger problems - tonight I ate potato skins with cheese & bacon & then duck pancakes with spring onion & cucumber. I couldn't manage it all then so let DH finish it off... But I'm hungry again now!

I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow... I've still not notified my GP, I think I'm just wary of jinxing it...

glastogal · 24/04/2017 22:46

Bloody cat just leapt onto my stomach.. wish I knew how to stop him doing that, even before I was pregnant, it was pretty breath-taking!!

glastogal · 24/04/2017 22:49

Your dinner sounds amazing asparagus 😍 sorry to hear you've been suffering with nausea though, amongst other things! Hope tomorrow is a good day!!

Mrsbluebell17 · 24/04/2017 23:02

Ooooh that dinner description made me feel hungry asparagus!

Mrsbluebell17 · 24/04/2017 23:16

I'm definitely having one of those 'I don't feel pregnant' days Hmm

Mumoftheark · 24/04/2017 23:18

Is anyone really hot? I can't remember feeling like this with my other 2. I'm particularly hot at night but hotter than normal all day.

MontyPants · 25/04/2017 00:46

Wow, this thread moves fast!

Zabe I took your advice and went to Next and bought myself a nice loose fitting top. Think this will last me a good few months. And I managed to eat all my dinner out tonight including veg and meat! Good times!

I've added myself to the spreadsheet. Hope it's saved.

MontyPants · 25/04/2017 00:48

Also, I got irrationally angry earlier as DH had eaten a cream egg that I'd been saving. Thankfully he thought my reaction was hilarious! Anyone else like this???
