Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

wavesatmaryshelley 38 is an awesome age to be!

Queen0ffaff · 24/04/2017 19:25

Thanks everyone for the words of reassurance. I can't really shake this worry as there is a risk and I'm feeling so guilty about that - and stupid for not knowing - but I have a feeling the GP wouldn't give it much time, so I'll do my best to be more positive about the odds.

My appetite seems to have disappeared today - really not like me, I miss it!

SamiZayn · 24/04/2017 19:26

Hey hey marking my place. These threads move fast!

glastogal · 24/04/2017 19:27

I have one look and one digi.. just gonna keep the digi for next time now. Too expensive to pee on for jokes!! Opks never worked for me when TTC so I don't mind wasting those at all!!

SamiZayn · 24/04/2017 19:32

I'm not peeing on sticks but I am food obsessed. Having an M&S meal deal for tea... Hunters chicken, croquettes and veg with a sponge pudding for dessert. Yum yum YUM.

leighdinglady · 24/04/2017 19:33

Chicken fajitas for me Smile

SamiZayn · 24/04/2017 19:34

Oh and how soon did everyone get their booking in appointments through? I did my referral a week ago when I registered with the GP but I'm only six weeks now

glastogal · 24/04/2017 19:34

I'm ashamed.. I ate tinned frankfurters 😳😳 iny defense I had a very healthy breakfast and lunch!

SamiZayn · 24/04/2017 19:35

leighdinglady Oooooo sounds Delish

glastogal · 24/04/2017 19:36

That sounds really good sami.. and fajitas are my fave Leigh.. jealous!

SushiNushi · 24/04/2017 19:39

Spreadsheet done! I must have my due date wrong, everyone due around the same time as me (19th December by my poor calculations) eg. Leighdinglady has midwife appointments much later? God I'm awful at this!

fishfingerSarnies · 24/04/2017 19:40

I've spent all day (slight exaggeration) making chicken soup only to now not want it and to send my dh out to get me fish fingers and white bread for a nice sandwich.
Just living up to my name! Can't really blame it on pregnancy this is the sort of crap I pull even when not pregnant.

mamalovesviolet · 24/04/2017 19:42

Ouch! So bloated! Too much wind Hmm I really need to remember to drink more water. It's all slowing down in my guts haha!

SushiNushi · 24/04/2017 19:42

Sorry not you Leigh, i meant mummy and Lixon.

What is all this opk madness? I've given mine away to a ttc friend already!

glastogal · 24/04/2017 19:43

Seems to be different practices everywhere sushi.. the midwife told me they see people from 6 weeks here but when I booked the appointment the receptionist told me they wouldn't see me till 8 weeks. So they can't even get their stories straight in the same GP practice!!

TootsyBella84 · 24/04/2017 19:51

It seems to be different everywhere Sushi!
I haven't contacted my midwife yet, I'm waiting until I know things are okay from my scan but we can just make a booking in appointment any time, the last time they told me the sooner the better x

SushiNushi · 24/04/2017 19:58

Thanks tootsy and glasto, i think I'll be 10 weeks when i have mine. If only week 1 was the week you conceived, life would be so much simpler! (For me, anyway)

Marie90 · 24/04/2017 20:05

Haha i love catching up on this thread! Absolutely stuffed from curry, veg & naan, washed down by a pint of strawberry Nesquick! Making the most of a non-nausea day! i'll be paying for it in the morning!

Beardy I'm thinking of getting ombrè done on my hair when i get through the first trimester, as a bit of a treat for feeling so rubbish! Did some research and as long as the place is well ventilated it should be ok apparently!

I've got my midwife appointment next Tuesday (02/05/17) when I'll be 8+1... No idea what the norm is though as this is #1!

MaryShelley1818 · 24/04/2017 20:09

I'll be having my MW appointment at 7+3. The receptionist just gave me the first available appointment.

Loving the food posts!!
I had lemon sole and creamy garlicky potato gratin, then a bowl of Haagen Dazs! Yum!

Marie90 · 24/04/2017 20:13

Mary i just read lemon sole as lemon sorbet.... Now that's all I can think of!! 🍋

Beardy1 · 24/04/2017 20:13

marie I'm considering carrying on as L'Oréal have a range that is for things like this. I'm gonna ask my hairdresser as I can't fave having major roots. Eek!!
