Time for another thread! What a chatty bunch.

We should get a spreadsheet set up that's an open shared document so we can all update it. I'll see what I can do but currently without a laptop!

Just back from my scan. Baby is measuring 6+3 and a strong heartbeat was seen

Carley27 · 03/05/2017 16:22

tootsy that outfit is so cute!

Congrats on the scans lapin, bisquick and derry - lovely news!

Good luck for the appointment Peachi, try not to worry too much Flowers

pauseplayrepeat · 03/05/2017 16:29

DoctorDonna I was consultant led with my previous 2DCs bc of hyperemesis. It meant more appointments, more bloods/urine tests and more scans to keep a closer eye on baby's growth.
Hope the interview went well zabe and you didn't throw up on anyone Grin.
Great to hear scans went well lapin, derry and bisquick. Two weeks until mine and time is dragging.
Miami my 'morning' sickness definitely gets worse over the day. Don't know if it's down to having eaten more or getting more tired. Feel for you though, it's horrible.
Anyone else already getting hip pain at night? I don't even have a bump yet but already when I sleep on my side I wake through the night achey hips. Slept with a cushion between my knees last night which helped. Anyone rate the big maternity pillows, like dreamgenie?

LapinR0se · 03/05/2017 16:32

Hooray derry!

mamalovesviolet · 03/05/2017 16:43

Loving all the lovely scan news. It's going to be a long wait for me till mid June!

Tootsy cute outfit!

BirdBrain85 · 03/05/2017 16:46

Hmm just had a tiny speck of peachy coloured discharge - worried something is wrong Sad

mamalovesviolet · 03/05/2017 16:55

Hope it's nothing Bird. I had a fair bit of brown discharge yesterday with a dull backache. It's difficult not to think that maybe something is awry.

Queen0ffaff · 03/05/2017 17:06

Good scan news, everyone. Must be such a good feeling. Mine won't be at least until mid June, either, mama - feels so far away!

Trying not to eat junk has just properly backfired as my willpower ran out... I'm already half a bag of cookies down, help!

BirdBrain85 · 03/05/2017 17:07

Thanks mama I'm putting my feet up for a bit. Wondering if it could be a uti. Seeing the midwife tomorrow so I'll be taking my worries to her (she'll love that I'm sure!!)

Peachi82 · 03/05/2017 17:08

Just back, he just took my details, said I need to speak to the Health and Safety Officers in work about the dangerous stuff. And the thyroxine needs to be adjusted in week 10 the earliest. I said I read differently, he said, no... I didn't want to argue.
On the way back, he gave me a ring and said that I was right and I should take 25 more now and he will book me in for more blood tests.

SamiZayn · 03/05/2017 17:36

Checking in. I'm fat and tired. Grin

Just had a call from the midwife to say they want to do my booking appointment asap so they can get me referred to a consultant because of DD's heart. I guess they'll want to do a detailed heart scan at some point.

Sorry to hear a few of you have had a bit of spotting and are anxious, it's such a difficult time. FX all is fine for you and your little beans.

macsworth · 03/05/2017 18:54

That's good you're seeing your midwife tomorrow bird. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about though.

Got scan date through...19th May which is great because it's just before I start my new job. Got to see the consultant as have a history of hyperthyroidism but don't think I'll stay consultant led. This is going to be a long TTW!!

Carlotta82248 · 03/05/2017 19:16

Meet my blob! Was really worried post tooth so paid for a scan, silly but I suffer with awful anxiety so worth every penny (I tell my credit card) measuring 7+2 and briefly heard the heartbeat SmileGrin

Lovely news with all the scans Carlotta, derryjojo, bisquik and Lapin - also glad you have an English speaking gynae Lapin, must make things less stressful! Completely justified in the circumstances I think Carlotta, hopefully it makes the tooth pain worth it!

Peachi good on you for Correcting the doctor and great that he followed up with correct advice :) good luck getting work sorted out without too much stress..

GadgetgirlUk · 03/05/2017 19:28

Yay @Carlotta, very cute! X

Peachi82 · 03/05/2017 19:51

Lixon, all for your great advice and the web pages.
Really don't know what to do work wise. I had a big performance review two weeks ago and they all said it's going so well and they are really impressed. But my probation is still running until July (I have 9 months probation) and as I understand telling about your pregnancy doesn't save you from getting sacked. Aaaaaaaaaaah!

TootsyBella84 · 03/05/2017 20:07

Brilliant picture Carlotta😍 so glad there have been lots of positive scans today!

8 weeks tomorrow and I'm so over this being sick thing already. I'm not keeping anything down just now 😷

MotherofUnicorns · 03/05/2017 21:52

pause i LOVED the dream genie pillow last time. In fact my DH got quite jealous as it literally came between us for months!! Can't wait to dig it out again.....
They are worth it as they can be used for breastfeeding pillows as well.

BirdBrain85 · 03/05/2017 22:13

Thanks mac Smile I went out for dinner and there's been no signs of anything else. It was literally a microscopic speck so I think I'm probably being a bit of a twit about it!! I hope your scan goes well on the 19th!

Carlotta Ahhhh how lovely! Great pic. Don't blame you for getting an early scan. I have to say I'm really considering getting another scan or a doppler because I'm a complete and utter worry wart at the moment!

Mrsbluebell17 · 03/05/2017 22:27

Hey again all. So today I've walked about ten miles and I'm absolutely shattered and now I've got to get ready to go and socialise tonight too. I'm going to be so exhausted later.

Congrats to those with the good scans today.

Tootsy I really wanted to order that outfit and had it in my mind that I would if all was well with my scan, and then they said it might be twins so that threw me off altogether. So now I'm waiting to find out if we need two!!! Hehe!

Royalsteph · 03/05/2017 22:37

Time is going so slowly, feels like forever till my scan. Midwife appointment on Fri. Symptoms have been coming and going hmph.

Tootsy I feel for you. 8 weeks tomorrow for me too and after a few horrendous days of not even keeping water down I've ended up being admitted for Iv fluids and anti sickness meds. See your GP sooner rather than later and start anti sickness meds if you want them. Am starting to feel so much better so quickly
