wow girls so much activity on the thread!
Fantastic news @notyetthere! congratulations on your little baby girl, I hope you're enjoying every minute of your newborn baby snuggles!
@wildone81 argh to having protein in your wee, but if I was betting woman (which I can be from time to time), I would agree with those who think baby will be here before the 3rd!
I'm absolutely loving all this baby name talk and I adore all the choices. Particularly Cerys and Astrid which were both on my list but vetoed by DH who said Cerys would be odd as we're not Welsh (?!) and he just didn't like Astrid.
I called into my sister last night and it was totally fine! When I started to tell her why I was there she said...'it's not Rose is it...?' which it's not! I told her my choice and she loved the name and said I was very thoughtful to call out but was in no way out of sorts by our choice. And there's no way she was faking as I can read her like a book and she's useless at hiding her emotions
She loved the name, as did her fiance which was also nice to hear. She's been sworn to secrecy til the 5th July and I won't post our name here until then...just in case!
@LuciBee231015 sweeps are yucky, but in my experience, the yuckier/more painful = the more effective! I had three with DS and the second was done at 8am on the morning I was to be induced and it started regular Braxton Hicks, then the second one later that night broke my waters and put me into full blown labour!
@glitterglitters I would agree on the further away hospital. It sounds a much better set up and with lovely family connections attached it seems a no brainer. You're so lucky FIL is so involved, it'll be lovely peace of mind when you're busy getting no 2 out!
Currently lying on our bed mumnetting while DH assembles a new chest of drawers. I think he sees flat pack as a large LEGO project...rather him than me!
