Thread #2, because apparently our "quiet" thread is rather busy! Grin

If you're new, do add yourself to the list so we can all see where we're at!

Help yourself to a Biscuit, here's to another month of chatting!

Darn it - never mind!

Hats off to all of you xx

One of my symptoms is a husband aversion. Everything about him irks me, the way he breathes, the way he talks.

I feel awful, I love him so very much, but it's like my body has decided "you have served your purpose." I am hoping this will pass soon as he is my best mate.

MrsGB2225 · 17/04/2017 18:02

I feel worse this time round than I did with my son, but I'm not sure if it's because with a toddler I don't get much down time.
Although my husbands friend said how much worse his wife found it the second time and they've just found out they are having twins!

Foggymist · 17/04/2017 18:44

I'm not really nauseous, I haven't thrown up and am nowhere even near doing it, didn't with ds either. It's more just an unsettled feeling in my stomach, I said to dh it's like when you drink something fizzy and you know you're going to burp, the few seconds before that but constantly!! At least I don't get proper morning sickness, my mum had it really bad.

If I keep eating I'm fine and just after eating I'm fine, the rest of the time I feel dodgy! But I have been eating only good stuff really, the odd crisp or chocolate but mostly salad, fruit and sandwiches. Purely because that's what I'm craving! I feel much crappier overall this time, but I think that's heavily influenced by non sleeping toddler.

AGnu · 17/04/2017 19:06

I'm on my 3rd DC, 5th pregnancy. I was symptom free with DS1 but struggled with nausea with all the others. DS2 was the worst & I suspect this one could've gone the same way if I wasn't forcing myself to eat/drink constantly! Seems to be easing now a bit - 9+2. Fx it continues!

sockportal I am sooooo glad you've said this!! This is exactly me at the moment to the extent I don't even wanna be near him, we've had a little falling out at the mo and as much as I'm bothered that we're not talking I'm actually enjoying him being outta my face! That's terrible isn't it??

butterybollocks · 17/04/2017 20:15

Oh foggymist I totally know what you mean... That sort of burpy indigestion feeling. Bleurgh.

My husband went on a 10k run the other day - he hadn't done one for over 5 years and doesn't run much. He went first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and forgot to take a drink. He said about two thirds of the way he felt tired, bit dizzy, weak and dehydrated... I told him that's how I feel most of the time.

Apparently I'm grumpy today. Whatever. He's irritating. Hmm Wink

DuRezidal · 17/04/2017 21:42

I'm 10 weeks on Wednesday and only got my appointment on 24 April when I will be 11 weeks and don't have a scan date yet!

theotherendofthesockportal · 17/04/2017 22:11

@TeaAndPjs I'm so glad it's not just me! I have been feeling like such a cow! He is at work tomorrow and I have a day off, so I'm hoping I will like him again when he comes home.

TeaAndPjs · 18/04/2017 08:34

sockportal I had 14hours away from mine yest and still got annoyed after 5 mins in his company:/

MrsGB2225 · 18/04/2017 09:27

After 4 days of wearing sweatpants, I really didn't want to put on proper clothes today!

butterybollocks · 18/04/2017 10:02

I feel awful today - day 3 of a headache which has turned into a migraine. Trying to work but I think I'm going to have to give up and take a sick day.
I have my booking in appt this morning so will talk to the midwife about taking paracetamol, Dr Google is giving me mixed messages.

Hope everyone is ok today.

Hopeful25 · 18/04/2017 10:18

Buttery sorry to hear how you feeling I would take Day off hon xx I've got booking in app today too.

This morning I ate an apple and cold chicken - in proper weird Grin

Foggymist · 18/04/2017 10:33

Buttery you can take paracetamol.

butterybollocks · 18/04/2017 12:11

Have taken two paracetamol, called in sick, and gone back to bed on midwife's orders.

NikaKaKa · 18/04/2017 12:12

Hi all,

normally a lurker Blush but really keen to join this thread! Added my info to the spreadsheet. I'm 7+5 today, 2nd pregnancy, EDD 30/11.

Not had my booking appointment with the midwife yet, only told my GP who has sent my referral for my 12 week scan so just waiting for my letter.

Good to see everyone else's views on Pregnacare as I've never felt so nauseous in my life. Not been vomiting but my stomach is upside down and back to front. Wasn't like this with my first, can't wait for it to stop!

AGnu · 18/04/2017 12:15

Hope you feel better soon buttery!

After thinking yesterday that I was starting to not feel so queasy, I feel like I might actually vomit today! Nearly thrown up 3 times this morning. Can't face food. Drink doesn't seem to be helping. I just want to lie down until it all gets better!

Hope you're feeling better soon Buttery.

Glad I'm not the only one getting annoyed by my DP. He's back to working away again this week. Normally the night before he goes I'm sad, this week I wanted to do a little dance. He's been getting right on my nerves. I think some time apart will do me good!

Managed to rebook 12 week scan & amazingly it's earlier than previous date & is at 8.10am so DP can make it before he goes away for the week. Only two weeks to wait.

Nausea is a lot worse for me today too AGnu. I think mine is all the smells in the office, was retching walking down the corridor earlier, so attractive. Today is the closest I've felt to actually being sick. Just want to drink Pepsi max & eat hula hoops all day to feel better, will have to make do with water & mints instead.

lydiangel83 · 18/04/2017 12:57

@butterybollocks let us know what the midwife says about paracetamol. I've been getting fever/ headaches and taken a few when desperate :-/

lydiangel83 · 18/04/2017 12:58

@butterybollocks and hope you feel better soon!

AGnu · 18/04/2017 13:54

Paracetamol is fine in pregnancy. Don't suffer unnecessarily!

Funny you should mention hula hoops Topsy, after I last posted I remembered I bought some as snacks for the DC for when we fly next month. We're going to need to buy more before we go but I'm not feeling quite as bad as I did!

Just had a private scan today and they couldn't see a heartbeat, I'm 9 weeks today. They say it's a mmc I'm going to call my midwife and see what to do next. I'm so heartbroken.

GingerHanna · 18/04/2017 14:47

Oh cats I am so very very sorry.

AGnu · 18/04/2017 14:50
