Can I join? I'm 5+1 although not totally sure on dates. Took one test when I was 3 days late that said 1-2 weeks but a test today said the same thing so a bit concerned about a chemical but going to test again on Monday morning (as other tests have been in the afternoon) and hope to see it progressing a bit.

60percentbanana · 15/04/2017 21:01

Feedmyface fingers crossed that everything is well with your pregnancy x. With your holiday, you might find they allow you to postpone some elements so that you don't lose too much. We have been to wdw a few times with everything booked independently. Disney are fabulous at transferring bookings at little cost, ticket companies may well allow you to swap for 2018 tickets if you top up the cost and pay a small fee. With the flights you should at the very least get some of the tax back. You could perhaps postpone to 2018 with a view to taking your baby? Xx

Tumble I'm going to carry on for as long as I feel able. I gave it all up last time and gained more weight than I should, which made my spd awful as you'd expect. I really do have to try to manage my weight gain if I can this time to preserve my mobility as much as possible. Ive friends who carried on lifting and running into their pregnancy without issues. Just listen to your body x

Cream eggs I don't rate those tests. Hcg levels vary so much from woman to woman that I can't see how they can be terribly accurate. Mine puts me at 1-2 weeks still, but my first bfp on a cheapie was ten days ago.

lovecreameggs · 15/04/2017 21:09

I don't think it helps that I was feeling ill and having cramps but now feel completely normal. Although next week I'll probably be moaning about nausea Blush I can't see my gp for another 3 weeks to notify anyone I'm pregnant anyway, which actually is making me feel pretty chilled out, unlike my first pregnancy where I was peeing on sticks every day and googling symptoms all day.

TootsyBella84 · 15/04/2017 21:22

Great news about your scan Tip!

5 weeks for me today and I appear to have a baby Dinosaur 😂

Is anyone else looking 6 months pregnant by the time evening comes? I just look so bloated it's ridiculous!

Thanks for the shares of exercise plans / points of view. I'm going to keep running as long as I can! Totally agree @isitwinetimeyet16 - with no alcohol and caffeine, the exercise is really important. Caffeine thing so hard - I'd feel better (not so tired) if I could drink decent cups of strong tea all day! Decaf tea is truly awful....

Mrsbluebell17 · 15/04/2017 22:12

Hi everyone
My booking in appointment has come in for late May, I'll be a day off 11 weeks then. Is that not really late for a booking in appointment? Will they put forward for my scan before that or wait until then? I'm worried it's a bit late to get my 12 week scan sorted?
Can anyone advise? First pregnancy so I know very little!
Advice appreciated. BlushSmile

weasledee · 15/04/2017 22:26

Tootsy that made me laugh out at my phone! 😬

Mrsbluebell17 · 15/04/2017 22:35

....tootsy I hear you on the bloating Hmm
And I saw the dinosaur picture too. My DH loves it haha.

Mrsbluebell17 · 15/04/2017 22:37

Tumble I'm a Yorkshire tea girl normally but am yet to try the Yorkshire tea decaf - have you tried it? I've got the Tick Tock one at the moment which is 'ok' if you leave it to stew for a while!

BirdBrain85 · 15/04/2017 22:39

Battenberg No need to feel bad or guilty for how you're feeling. I've looked after a little boy with sodium valproate syndrome, he's the most amazing little guy, so funny and cute - just a character. But he has been through so much, and will continue to do so. What I'm trying to say is, there's definitely no judgement here. You do what's right for you and your family - but hopefully it won't come to that xx

Tootsy What app is that? It's hilarious lol. Mine is looking like a little shrimp on my app! And I definitely having been referring to it as "Shrimpy" at all

FeedMyFaceWithBattenberg · 15/04/2017 22:41

@BirdBrain85 I'm hoping I will find out some more on Tuesday.

I'm so tired. I can't think of anything else.

TootsyBella84 · 15/04/2017 22:44

bluebell that does seem quite late, can you maybe get the number for your community midwife and give her a call before your appointment just to ask? Surely if they know your dates and they've booked you for then they should be able to get you all sorted for your 12 week scan. I'd definitely call and ask about it though, maybe they could book you in sooner

Foxglove88 · 15/04/2017 23:33

Tootsy I am so incredibly bloated. I'm not stuffing my face as much I do normally (which might make family suspect something's up!) The main reason im not eating as much is because I feel so full already.
MrsBluebell I invested in a box of Yorkshire decaf tea and it's not too bad. Saying that, all tea tastes a bit off to me at the moment.

TipTop333 · 15/04/2017 23:35

Bluebell my letter came through today and my booking in is at the same time as my 12 week scan which is apparently the norm at the hospital I am going to. A hospital which is huge and covers a large number of women (hospital in a large city) so I'm guessing it's fine to do so but very weird!

Mrsbluebell17 · 16/04/2017 05:19

Thanks tip and tootsy.

My appointment is at a local health centre so I know my scan won't be at the same time, so I'll give them a call on Tuesday and see what happens. Hmm

Fox I'll give it a go next time I need some Smile

lovecreameggs · 16/04/2017 06:37

Bluebell my dh and I drink decaf after 5 normally and we tried the Yorkshire tea decaf and we both found we suddenly had insomnia so, although I have 0 evidence apart from anecdotal, I swear it has more caffeine in than other decaf teabags, or we got a bad batch. I like redbush tea, I find it helps digestion too.

Beardy1 · 16/04/2017 06:39

bluebell my gp attempted to book me in at 11 weeks due to availability and that they wouldn't see me at 7 weeks initially even though that was the only available time both I and the mw had. I just kicked off a bit and luckily they changed it. I think it's too long to wait. See if you can speak to the booking clerk.

tootsy I have that same app. It's ovia baby. I love it. It even shows the size of your baby to a piece of food. Mines the size of a peppercorn at the moment.

lovecreameggs · 16/04/2017 06:50

My app is showing this. It is awful because....it's making me crave prawns ShockBlushConfused

Hi,
Can I join?
Bfp last week, 1st pregnancy.
By lmp dd is 22nd Dec.

Mrsbluebell17 · 16/04/2017 07:42

Thanks creameggs perhaps I'll stick with the Tick Tock red bush tea then.

Beardy ah good to hear of a positive result from someone in a similar situation. I'll call them on Tuesday and see what they say. I'm concerned as it only gives 2 weeks to get me booked in and had the scan before I go off on my holiday at 13+1 until 14+1.

Welcome glittery. Good to have you here!

fishfingerSarnies · 16/04/2017 07:45

Officially due on today, took my second test it's been about 5 days and my line is nice and dark now so I think I can relax about a chemical, well I hope so anyway!

Mrsbluebell17 · 16/04/2017 08:02

That's great news fishfingersarnies! Congrats Smile

Everytime you post it makes me want a fishfinger sarnie 😂

looby1304 · 16/04/2017 08:02

That's great news fishfinger! Hopefully you can relax a bit now and enjoy it a bit more! Saying that, I'm still struggling to relax and I'm 7 weeks on Tuesday!

Mrsbluebell17 · 16/04/2017 08:04

The sore boobs have hit this morning, big time Shock totally worth it though for my little peppercorn! Smile

Marie90 · 16/04/2017 08:31
