We had people staying last night so it's been a busy morning even though I'm still in my pjs!
Tired now, getting the occasional wave of mild nausea but nothing too bad.
Going to snuggle on the sofa under a blanket with DP, watch Homeland and eat Pringles and chocolate x

Angielka · 23/04/2017 14:56

So sorry weasledee Flowers

I just woke from a nap, went to the loo and there was blood when I wiped Sad got a scan on Tuesday but will see if it gets worse and maybe try and bring it forward, although if I'm realistic, if it's all going wrong there's nothing I can do either way. SadSadSad

MontyPants · 23/04/2017 15:02

So sorry weasle hope you're feeling ok xx
Ang can you ring EPU or out of hours docs? Hope you're ok xx

Tinyti83 · 23/04/2017 15:03

Hi. Only just joined today and was recommended this board. I have had my BFP Thursday night and Friday morning (two tests to make sure) 😊 appears I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and according to my dates and cycle I'm due on December 25th!!....a Christmas Day baby! 🎄 so happy after just 5 months of trying since having the implant for a number of years we are shocked it's taken just this sort time. Apart from never ending loo trips, being extremely tired, feeling bloated and a few headaches....all seems to be ok and I'm feeling fine apart from those few things, oh I did forget my emotions... they are shot as crying at anything and everything lol 🤦🏻‍♀️ Can't help but feeling it may be the calm before the storm but who knows. It's my first pregnancy so really not sure what to expect, excited, nervous, anxious etc. Awaiting the first scan till we announce just to be sure, I know everyone feels different about this but it's how we prefer to do things. Well congratulations to all of you who've had your BFP and wishing all those awaiting there's all the best wishes in the world. Looking forward to the journey... hopefully get to know some of you better as time goes on xx

Welcome Tiny.
*
Ang* I'm sorry. I hope you are ok. Can you phone the EPU and see if they can see you? Hopefully it's just some spotting. Thinking of you.

Still thinking of you too weasle.

weasledee · 23/04/2017 15:49

Again thanks for the kind words, really helps x

Percephone · 23/04/2017 15:56

Is anyone else ridiculously bloated? 7+3 today and can't wear normal trousers any more. Tried under bump jeans but they're cutting me in half! Just been out to buy massive stretchy trousers for work next week Blush How massive am I going to be by 9 month?!

Angielka · 23/04/2017 15:56

Thanks monty and bluebell. The next time I went to the loo there was no more, so I'm keeping my eye on it and trying to think positive.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/04/2017 16:01

yep I'm 7 weeks today and jeans are starting to cut into my (normally v flat) belly. Eek. Second baby tho so..

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 23/04/2017 16:05

Percephone bloating is part and parcel I'm afraid. I've actually lost about half a stone recently due to a lack of appetite and generally feeling horrendous but it will pass..it's like the bloat of the stomach goes to the ankles 🙈

I just ordered myself a pair of rose gold Havaianas that I'm planning on living in til December 😍

Percephone · 23/04/2017 16:06

Second baby for me too. I was wearing those under bump jeans at 20 weeks last time Blush

CantHelpDancingWithTheDevil · 23/04/2017 16:12

I was in my size ten normal clothes on my birthday which is at the end of June..9lb 10oz DS was born in September

I highly doubt I'll get away with it this time around 😂

Mrsbluebell17 · 23/04/2017 16:14

Yes - I know the bloated feeling and I'm only 6+3. Everytime I eat something it takes only minutes for my stomach to balloon and I have to undo my jeans and belt. I'm away with work from 7+4 to 8+2 and hoping I can hide it during that trip. Fortunately it'll be mainly casual wear during the trip so i can wear loser clothes hopefully.

Starting to get really excited and incredibly nervous about our early private scan next Saturday. I've become so attached already so here's hoping everything is ok!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/04/2017 16:27

@Mrsbluebell17 where are you going for work? I'm going to the US for work on Tuesday and I'll be away from 7+2 to 8+6.. really hope my nausea doesn't get worse! I've got to do meetings and presentations and all sorts!

Mrsbluebell17 · 23/04/2017 16:42

The US for me too squirrel. Hope your week goes well. Smile

Marie90 · 23/04/2017 16:54

Quick question: We're over at my future mother and father in law's for lunch today and they have taken up Vaping. Now I'm very grateful they are trying to quit smoking, but they are Vaping inside (where as they used to go outside to smoke). Could this harm the baby? I'm 6+6 and aware that so much can affect the fetus at this stage!
I can't really ask them not to do it as it's their house and we haven't told them were expecting yet! HELP! Blush

Zaberwocky · 23/04/2017 16:55

Ugh. I need to catch up! These threads fill up so fast Grin

I've had my head in the loo/sink/ex-mixing bowl all weekend. DH has booked me another doctors appointment for tomorrow morning after he spotted the colour of my wee when I went to get more loo roll Blush

TipTop333 · 23/04/2017 16:56

Welcome tiny!

Oh angie how scary for you. I really hope it was nothing sinister and everything is okay.

I am so sorry to hear your news weasle, I wish you all the best for ttc in the future.

I just had lunch at the in laws that I spent in agony because of forcing myself in my jeans which just Do. Not. Fit. It didn't feel squidgy like bloat when I was forcing them closed though (though that is there), it felt hard like uterus.

Marie there's not enough research to say either way when it comes to vamping as far as I'm aware. But I'm not sure I'd be comfortable either.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 23/04/2017 16:59

@Mrsbluebell17 good luck for your trip too!

MmmAsparagus · 23/04/2017 17:36

@Carlotta82248 - glad I'm not alone with no symptoms! I'm definitely having an early scan. Where are you based? Do you have a lot of choice?

@Lixon - you're right, but it's so hard to relax. Just got to do a day at a time!

@Angielka - I hope all is ok now? If it does happen again I second a visit to the EPU. They may be able to reassure you.

Hi @Tinyti83! I wonder how many will have Christmas birthdays 🙈 I'm due 19th December!

Sorry if this is TMI -
But did anyone have an incredibly wet feeling at 5+ weeks? I've checked & it's just lotion white discharge, but a lot... if only there were a step by step manual to the daily life of a pregnant lady. We could cross reference every symptom or lack of!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 23/04/2017 17:39

Just in from a lovely afternoon at my best work friend's house. Lots of running around and playing in their lovely garden. Going out for a walk/run when we get DS bed. He's currently eating beans on toast one bean at a time!

Oysterbabe · 23/04/2017 17:52

Hi all!
Is it ok if I tag on to the end? BFP today and due on 31st December, which also happens to be my DD's 2nd Birthday. She arrived at 35+5 so I doubt I'll make it that far, I hope I do though, I'm very scared of this one arriving earlier. I was never given a reason why DD decided to make an early appearance.
I hope you're all staying sane through the first tri anxiety. Flowers

TipTop333 · 23/04/2017 18:30

Asparagus yes! Extra discharge is a normal, healthy side effect of pregnancy. It makes you suddenly understand the true purpose of pantyliners.

Welcome oyster! No reason for this baby to be earlier but I have my fingers crossed for a long and healthy pregnancy nonetheless
