Symptom alert from Miss Symptomless......huge lack of emotional composure during Britains Got Talent which I usually wouldn't watch for all the money in the world hahahaha x

MontyPants · 22/04/2017 21:19

Leigh I'm on antidepressants (doc and midwife know I'm pregnant, all is safe), and I'm feeling the opposite. I can't remember the last time I cried, and I feel strangely chilled out. It's like my hormones and antidepressants have combined really well. But I don't want to feel detached from the baby. Doc said she'll probably take me off them at 6 months, but I'm scared how I'll feel when that happens too. Argh it's a nightmare. I've really struggled with my mental health over the years so I don't want to feel out of control 😫

MontyPants · 22/04/2017 21:20

Also that first comment didn't make any sense. Of course the midwife knows I'm pregnant! Duh. Meant to say she knows I'm on meds.

leighdinglady · 22/04/2017 21:41

montypants I was on citalopram for years but came off them when we started TTC. I'm generally perfectly fine now, bar a few days a month when I can get dangerously unstable.

I'm not worried about any serious problems now. I think I'm just shattered, which always makes thing seem worse. Mostly I'm really happy. I just need to remind myself of that when anxiety starts to build

It's daunting coming off them. I just started biting them in half for a few weeks before stopping. I would be cautious about coming off them during pregnancy though. Would it not leave you more vulnerable to pnd?

goldielocks29 · 22/04/2017 22:02

Argh reading back through all the food posts is making me feel sick and hungry all at the same time!
Feeling so nauseous at the moment, craving all the beige food! Never normally eat McDonald's but the only thing I've managed to stomach today is a chicken burger from there. It.was.so.good.
Then followed by a 3 hour nap 🙈🙈🙈

Although now all I want is a really juicy orange!

Angielka · 22/04/2017 22:14

Don't do it goldie! I wanted the exact same thing the other evening and while it was going down it was all cold and juicy and delicious and then I felt all heartburny and acidy anduncomfortable going to sleepSad

TootsyBella84 · 22/04/2017 23:12

Monty I'm on antidepressants too but have been advised to try and not take the ones I'm on during the first tri. I'm surprisingly feeling okay seeing as I haven't taken them in about 3 weeks. If I actually reach 12 weeks my plan is to try and stay off them if I'm still feeling okay but I will take it as it comes x

BirdBrain85 · 23/04/2017 00:53

Starting to feel more nauseous more often now. I can't believe I wished for symptoms - how foolish I was! Honestly not sure how I'm going to get through work next week.

It feels very similar to motion / travel sickness to me, does anyone else find that?

MontyPants · 23/04/2017 01:09

Thanks leigh and tootsy glad to know I'm not alone. There's risks to just coming off the ones I'm on anyway, so I'll wait to see what the midwife says a few months down the line....
And bird yep same feeling without the dizziness for me 🤢

Lixon · 23/04/2017 05:45

Sorry to hear about your anxiety leighdinglady but honestly it would be completely normal with all the hormones etc even without everything you've been through adding to it. It's horrid but try headspace as mentioned earlier or even writing in a diary can help me sometimes.

Sorry to hear about your MH issues Tootsy and Monty, hopefully symptoms stay managed.

Mummyhenman it sounds like you've had a really traumatic year, fingers crossed everything went well last night and you pulled off not drinking!

Jelly welcome and what a lovely surprise! Hopefully this time things go more smoothly..

Welcome QueenFlower too, I know where you're coming from as my holidays for the last year have been planned around zika but I think I'd stay in your position and just stay covered up as much as possible and try and enjoy it!

My bloody cat woke me up and now I obviously can't get back to sleep, would rather not be a zombie for my day out today 😳 Reading all the posts had made me starving and I definitely want waffles smothered in ketchup for breakfast!

Mrsbluebell17 · 23/04/2017 05:46

Morning all. Guess who is awake again at 5am!!

My spots on my chin and nose are literally throbbing Blush any suggestions to resolve?

leighdinglady · 23/04/2017 06:58

Awake all fecking night as drunken DH snoring and farting! Getting revenge now by putting the tv on and slamming doors Grin

DoctorDonnaNoble · 23/04/2017 07:03

DH is a snorer does my head in! But now his breathing is irritating me at night!!

looby1304 · 23/04/2017 07:26

Morning everyone, I've woken up in a slight panic, all my symptoms have completely disappeared, I had none yesterday and even managed to sleep through the night without needing to get up and wee! I've got my midwife appointment Wednesday but I'm feeling very uncertain now. No pain or bleeding whatsoever.
Anyone had days like this?

fishfingerSarnies · 23/04/2017 07:42

Woohoo 5 weeks today. I have a little dinosaur with a tail.

Though this is when I started bleeding last time so I'm feeling a little nervous.

Not sure if I have any symptoms thought I felt sick a bit yesterday but I'm worried that's just wishful thinking. I still like coffee which is usually my first symptom so it makes me nervous that I'm still drinking tea and coffee.
I'm sure in a weeks time when I can't keep water down I won't be wishing for symptoms.

weasledee · 23/04/2017 07:43

Morning all, sad to report that ive started miscarrying this morning :(
I did think the cb digital result of 1-2 weeks yesterday when should of been 2-3 wasn't a good sign.....
So thanks for the support and good luck to everyone and their December babies! Hopefully I can join the Jan2018 group soon :) x

leighdinglady · 23/04/2017 07:46

So sorry weasel Sad

DoctorDonnaNoble · 23/04/2017 07:48

Sorry to hear that weasel. Look after yourself.

LapinR0se · 23/04/2017 07:50

Weasel have you other symptoms or are you just basing it off the CB?

leighdinglady · 23/04/2017 07:51

loopy symptoms come and go as hormones seem to come in bursts. They might be back in a day or two.

weasledee · 23/04/2017 07:54

No sadly Lapin there's no doubt about miscarriage, bleeding and painful cramps :(
It was our first month of trying for number 3 so I'm ok really. Just makes me grateful for the boys I have :) x

LapinR0se · 23/04/2017 07:56

Sorry to hear that weasel. Sad
Look after yourself and hope your boys take good care of you xx

SushiNushi · 23/04/2017 08:13

looby1304 · 23/04/2017 08:16

Sorry to hear that weasel, make sure you look after yourself Flowers

Annie1290 · 23/04/2017 08:21

Sorry to hear that weasledee take care of yourself.

Well I had one of the most embarrassing nights of my life yesterday. DH took me out for a lovely meal, completely ruined when I fainted into my empty plate, came round, fainted again to be surrounded by a load of waiters and people who were eating 😩😳🙄
The resturant called an ambulance so they checked me over (blood pressure etc, fine) and found nothing wrong. Had a long day yesterday, and had felt a bit funny, still feel a bit funny this morning so think dr's this week in case I have low iron or something, my mum did through both her pregnancies.
