We went to Asda to get some milk, and all the nappies were reduced to £1 in the red sticker section! Me and other lady are definitely stocked up.

Put together our changing table and buggy today. Still not sure the room looks very baby ready but it's a start!

Jugoo28 · 01/04/2017 21:25

@rustler74 due date is 26 May but baby is measuring big (like off the chart big) so we're looking at a potential induction at 36 weeks so last week of April but we have another growth scan next Friday to confirm. Would like to get to 38 weeks but not relishing the thought of pushing out a 10 pounder to be honest!

@mrsjw15 our pram just arrived and DP is meant to be putting it together tomorrow 😍😍

nursebickypegs · 01/04/2017 21:28

@Jugoo28 my baby is off the charts too! I'm thinking end of April Shock

Rustler74 · 01/04/2017 21:42

@Jugoo28 im due exactly same day. Also scan coming week on Thursday and specialist midwife Friday morning to discuss. Last scan was showing 90th percentile so hopefully stays on that line, otherwise also earlier !

savagehk · 01/04/2017 21:48

When you ladies say 90th percentile, is that on your own customised fundal bump measurement chart thingy or on some other chart? I'm consistently over 90th on my own customised fundal bump thingy and no one is worried in the slightest, and I was the same last time and they weren't worried then either. Or is there another chart you get if you go for growth scans which shows uncustomised baby estimated weights instead?

coxsorangepippin · 01/04/2017 21:48

jugoo, nurseb, rustler have you had extra ultrasounds as well as the fundal height? My scan was average at 20 weeks but all the fundal height measurements have been way above the 90% line and I'm wondering if I should ask for another growth scan as the fundal height chart looks like a ten pounder...

coxsorangepippin · 01/04/2017 21:49

savage snap! X post

newbieho · 01/04/2017 21:57

@Jugoo28 😻 one of my cats stays away from the bump as he has been kicked off a few times

Rustler74 · 01/04/2017 22:36

Customised yes @savagehk. How did yours turn out on the 90th percentile?

Rustler74 · 01/04/2017 22:36

And yes growth scan at 29 weeks, next one on Thursday coming.

nursebickypegs · 01/04/2017 22:41

@coxsorangepippin @savagehk I've had extra scans due to Bubs heart condition and my hip condition. At 28+6 he was measure 4lb6oz (just checked my notes) and measuring 31 weeks; thus meaning today at 31 weeks I'm like 34 weeks I think. They worked out if he carried on as he is, he would be 12lbs> come May. The fundal weight chart terrifies me as he's above the 95%; he was meant to be 2lbs at that 4lb6oz scan.

Both DH and I are tall and stocky, and we were big babies, plus my MW&OBGYN were very interested that my Dad is 6ft3, Grandpa 6ft etc so I think they have taken that into consideration as well. DH's family aren't really tall like mine, well the men are, the women are pocket sized! I don't have gestational diabetes, but as physio puts it "I'm a well built woman".

Sorry to moan but my DM has really been horrible today with guilt trips; she's had a chest infection and not allowed me to see her. However now I'm getting the "why haven't you see me" "you'll miss me when I'm dead" texts and guess what? Braxton Hicks. I just texted her saying that please don't send me shit like this, I'm going to bed. I'm dreading her using the guilt trips on Bub.

nursebickypegs · 01/04/2017 22:42

@newbieho @Jugoo28 Furbaby2 isn't scared of the kicks anymore!

9lb4 at 42+4, can't attach pic from app (grr). Had scan at 42w due to being overdue, which showed smaller size than bump was predicting.

WishIWasSleeping · 01/04/2017 22:52

@nursebickypegs - Tell her to duck off.
And if she actually gets over emotional about it, blame it on your hormones... we've got to make them useful for something! Grin

Seeing as I so wanted my DD to have chicken pox, and I have dutifully had a week off of work to look after her, she is still coming out in new spots.. I thought it only lasted a week, it's been about 11 days now! Poor little rascal with half new spots and half scabs.. :-(

I've a growth scan next Thursday too, as I am apparently 2cm bigger than expected last Monday at the mw. I'm hoping they bring my dates forward a little as I'm knackered! Although I have a set of pjs, a nightie, 4 (free) nappies and wipes and 2 pairs of pants in my hospital bag and I haven't washed any newborn clothes! So prepared!!

Here's last times' chart

Nurse & Jugo loving the fur baby pic! My bump seems to like kicking one of my two but not the other!! & 12lbs?!? Jesus! All you need is your DM piling on the pressure!! I'm with Wish - cite hormones and tell her you'll put her msgs on mute if she keeps sending stuff that stress you out and have a physical impact on you & the bump!
*
MrsJW & Jugo* isn't it lovely when the pram and furniture starts arriving/ you put it together? The fact I can go and look at it in the nursery makes it more real for me at the moment!

Tea with you on the tipping point - kinda overcomes the fear when it gets to the point of disrupting your whole life! Though jealous about your sleep! And don't forget the needing to wee every 1-2 hours! Only just made it through the first half of a play this eve - wee either side!!

Had our second NCT class today. A really lovely group and we all seem keen to socialise/ support, which is great. Will be hosting the post pop get together at mine in June. Looking forward to it already Smile

Also some successful eBaying today -got a black wii fit set for the new shed/ gym and (really pleased about this) a chrome and silver Bloom Fresco High Chair. Saw in John Lewis and loved but could justify £650 on a high chair!! Got for a tenth of that - picking up tomoz. #whoopwhoop

Jugoo28 · 01/04/2017 23:28

@coxsorangepippin I'm the same as @nursebickypegs, they think if I go to 40 weeks then baby could be 12 pounds and my curve goes off the chart, we're over the 100th percentile. They first noted it at 28 weeks with fundal height but didn't have a growth scan until last week at 32 weeks in case it slowed down/they were wrong. She's showing on the scans as a bit smaller then the fundal height measurements but still measuring 35 weeks instead of 32 so another growth scan this week to check again and confirm and then the consultant will decide when she's coming out essentially.

newbieho · 01/04/2017 23:29

@nursebickypegs 😻

jennymac31 · 02/04/2017 00:04

Hiya ladies

Thought I'd check in after I caught up with the thread.

Got to our hotel room about an hour ago after in-laws anniversary shin-dig. Just having a cup of tea before I settle in for the night. Dh's joined his siblings for a few more drinks. Thought I'd let him out a bit later, especially as one of his brothers has decided to have his stag do 2 days after due date!

Am pretty knackered so was hoping to have a lie-in only to find out that the in-laws want us all to have breakfast together at 8.30 and then join them at mass! Wouldn't mind but their celebration started off with a church service at 11am this morning! Fil is a deacon so I really shouldn't have been surprised.

Hope you're all well and have been enjoying the good weather this weekend xx

nursebickypegs · 02/04/2017 00:06

@WishIWasSleeping I'm going to at this rate! I just need some womanly support at the moment and she doesn't help. Poor DH gets me moaning about it all the time.

@Teaspoon74 OOOHHH show us the high chair! This sounds good! DM is just being utterly rude at the moment, if it's not about paying her no attention, then it's about my cats and the baby... ugh.

@Jugoo28 @coxsorangepippin I've attached my chart, This is the one from the ultrasound. I'm convinced it will be end of April.

I've just noticed it says USS ED 10/05/2017.

lullaby23 · 02/04/2017 00:12

Thanks for posting the curve chart savage I'm non NHS so haven't seen it, baby EFW at 31 weeks was approx 1.7kg so 50th centileish. Dr did say average but nice to see the chart for myself.

Wow jugoo predicted 12 pounder! I suppose there's always the chance growth will slow down a bit? It will be so interesting to see how accurate they were when your DC is born.

I know we're talking about getting these babies out but the birth centile is not necessarily where they will end up as some babies catch up or down once born. DS was something like 65th but dropped to 35th, then once we both got the hang of BFing he shot up to 90th and is now between 75th & 90th for weight and height.

jennymac31 · 02/04/2017 04:12

Haven't been able to fall asleep since my last post as spd pain almost has me in tears. Baby is wriggling lots and bh seems to be coming and going. Hoping it's not early labour, as have been getting throbbing pain in lower back and last time that happened was when I went into labour with dd. Paracetamol is doing fuck all and despite telling dh on a number of occasions that I was in agony so please don't go on a bender, he's walked in steaming drunk and has promptly passed out snoring. Feel utterly crap and annoyed but can't decide if I'm angry at him or myself for not demanding him to come home sooner. Just hope baby's not planning on making an early exit as dh will be of absolutely no use to me in the state that he's in.

jennymac31 · 02/04/2017 04:35

And now he's throwing up in the bathroom!

Thank God the bh and back pain seems to be starting to ease off.
