I doubt my belly button will pop out as it's always been really deep. It will be odd if it does!

My belly button is a deep 'innie' too so I very much doubt it will pop out... so far no change, but I barely have a bump yet anyway so let's see further down the line.

I also have an appendix scar on the lower right side of my abdomen - had it since I was 5 years old but it's still quite prominent and deep, so I'll be interested to see what happens to it as my bump expands. For now I'm just applying plenty of BioOil on the scar and my tummy to try and keep the skin nice and hydrated!

No linea negra at all.
My belly button is very shallow now and inside looks stretched so I don't think it will be long now before it pops out .

I had a tummy tuck 8 years ago, which involved creating a new belly bottom hole (if that makes sense) so mine went to pot at about 18 weeks! Now an outy , with a visible scar in a circle round it, and I think it's going to turn itself inside out before long....husband is horrified!!!

Well I'm having a mini crisis bc I've had a long tricky work day worked from half 9am til 8:30pm straight and had lunch at my desk, ate food we ordered for tea. Was only supposed to work the morning but one thing lead to another and more than one thing that I hoped would be simple turned out to be complicated. And now at 11pm when I want to be asleep I'm stood in the shower and need to fix my hair, legs, and nails bc I'm godmother to my friends baby in the morning!! Half the contents of my wardrobe are on the bedroom floor bc in the dress I was going to wear (and 4 others) it looks like my belly button is arriving 5 minutes before me - definitely popped here!!! Even tried tying a scarf round my middle!! Found a suitable dress eventually thankfully. But to top it off I ordered the baby a lovely personalised christening bracelet that was supposed to be here on Friday and still isn't here so I have no gift tomorrow and there's not much I can pick up early on a Sunday morning

Aaaand now the hairdryer is broken

I have a faint linea negra now and my belly button is getting more and more shallow, think it will pop in a week or two.

Getting a bit concerned, every time I see someone they say how big my bump is for 26 weeks and that it's 'massive'. It's actually starting to get to me now, am I further than the midwives think I am? Will it come early and I'll still be working?! Am I going to have a massive baby?!

I've pretty much been up since 1.30am this morning, baby has been wriggling and kicking all night. Even kicked DH in the back a few times this morning when we were spooning!

I'm itching to buy more baby stuff this month but I have spent my money for this month. Went out yesterday and bought myself some maternity bits as well as I've been feeling like I fat mess that wears the same thing all the time, so hopefully should feel a bit more attractive now.

Dani, that sounds like a nightmare lol.

@LuciBee231015 everyone keeps telling me tye same so I wouldn't worry. My cousin is also pg and yday mum said oh she's actually a bit bigger than you so maybe you're not having twins. I think maybe our new shape just surprises people and every woman carries differently.

Well I'm okay now. I may look like I've been hit by lack of sleep and am turning up empty handed but I followed my little sister's advice of sending my friend a message describing the giftvand apologising and saying I'm really looking forward to the day and she didn't mind in the slightest. And ladt night I put a tight braid across the top of my head sweeping round (due to lack of dryer) and it's stayed in thankfully!! Just about to get going.

And oh here's my popped belly button for anyone who cares lol, casts it's own shadow

My lines negra had started developing the last couple of days. It looks wonky as well 😂 I've also got some new stretch marks where my bump is growing differently this time. I've been moisturising religiously but I'm just prone to get them so what can you do.

My belly button is deep and I don't think it'll pop, it didn't last time. TBH I've got a major issue/borderline phobia of my belly button. I can't have it touch and struggle to touch it myself. The idea of it popping is literally the stuff of nightmare for me. Fingers crossed it doesn't 🙊

@LuciBee231015 that's really bad that people feel they can comment. You wouldn't comment on a non pregnant persons body. I'm sure you're not huge. My sister got quite a big bump quite quickly (people at work were saying oh you must be off soon and she was like no, over 3 months til I go) but then it grew quite slowly until the last month.

My male friend told me yesterday that o shouldn't eat for 2 and that it's really easy to pile on weight in the last trimester! Thanks! I know his wife put on a lot of weight while pregnant and I think it really bothered him, the funny thing is his wife is stunning and has a great personality, we all work for the same company but different offices and everyone I know who's met her says how the hell did he get her?! I just ignored him!

@Seahawk80 is right. Everybody has a different body and it'll work differently.

You'll find everybody has a horrendous story about giving birth too. Complete strangers will tell you about how they were in labour for 15 hours in a snowstorm and it hurt so bad they chopped their leg off for the pain. Ignore ALL of them.

You're so right @glitterglitters - I think birth stories are like house buying stories. When we wanted to buy a flat in London I knew it could be difficult and the market moved fast and it didn't help that people couldn't wait to tell you stories about sealed bids, bidding wars, gazumping, multiple houses falling through etc. It really worried me and put me off buying. No one will tell our boring story that we made an offer that was accepted and moved in 4 months later!

@Seahawk80 completely agree. I remember the horror stories when we were buying our house but it's was super straightforward.

glitters I'm exactly the same with my belly button. I can't bare to touch it or have it touched. It's like a coal mine in there (depth wise not full of soot) so I'm hoping it doesn't pop. danigrace yours actually looks quite cute! I feel like mine would look like a giant skin tag or something.

I have darker skin because of my race so my linea negra showed itself even before my belly started expanding at about 15wks. It is very darker and wonky too. Lol. I quite like it. As for belly button, I also have a very deep inny, it's shallower but I don't know how long it will be before it all comes out

My linea negra is really faint at the moment but can see it which i quite like. My belly button seems deeper than before so no sign of that popping out in the near future!

No linea negra for me yet either, and my belly button hasn't popped yet. Mine has always been quite a shallow innie, but if anything it seems to be getting deeper rather than popping!

Did my first bit of baby splurging today 🙈 that Next sale is dangerous ladies! Soooo cute thought! Got a range from up to 3 months to 6-9 months trying to think of the seasons so hooopefully they will be suitable! The dinosaur jumper is my fav I think!

It's just frustrating that everyone has an opinion on everything and they HAVE to tell you. I'm just trying to ignore them all but then find myself thinking oh dear am I really big then?!

Alert! Unexpected (To me) baby event in Lidl. Organic cotton cardigans 4.99, there's also bodysuits, sleep suits and all, baby books 1.99 or 1.29 for those small soft ones!

The christening went well thankfully, back at home now and exhausted. Mum and Dad had got me a couple of nice board books from Lidl but there were no cardigans at ours just gender specific bodysuits (we aren't finding out the gender).
